This message contains some facts and figures about the ark; showing that it was more than adequate in size and carrying capacity. It is popular for those who consider themselves intellectual to mock the Scriptures about the life of Noah and his obedience to the Lord in building an ark to the saving of his family from the world wide flood.
After all, if the flood was not worldwide, he would merely have moved. Noah was an example of faith in God's Word; so much so that he appears in God's Hall of Faith in Hebrews 11:7, "By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith." What was not "seen as yet?"
Rain! It had never rained on the earth before that time. (Gen. 2:6) And we do not have to worry about the density of sea water as opposed to rainwater, as some propose. Water seeks its own level and it covered the earth mixing seawater and rainwater. It did not only rain; but, the "fountains of the great deep were broken up." (Gen. 7:11) Since the ark is a type of Christ, are you in the Ark of Salvation?
"...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved...:" (Acts 16:31) All aboard!
