A Knight's creed

Your out look and conditions of conduct will always decide your interaction with others in life!!Date: 12/16/2007 14:43:58 ... blog viewed 216,129 times...

A Knights Creed « on: December 12, 2007, 12:00:58 »

A knight was to be a Champion of all in need: Women, Children, plus most of all to the helpless and the poor...

Thus they were to live by this simple yet powerful creed;

A Knight should:

Protect the innocent, the defenseless and the helpless poor.

Learn to Trust in God's Will for all things !

Always be truthful in all things; even if it means your death to do so!

It is so sad that we can not even try to live by this today!!
If we did live by these: Powerful and meaningful words!!
Just maybe the lives of those around us would be improved!!

** This blog and Email is ten (10 ) years old and prez BO and the Congress did nothing!  Now we have gottn a new President who is attempting to soolw and correct this waste of both money and  energy for all involved!  BTW: where in the world today can you get this system?  Answer is nowhere! Why here?

Wake up !! Cheap labor cost... Wither it is here in the USA or from China or where ever, we will pay for it!! HUH!!Date: 11/16/2007 08:45:57 ... blog viewed 111,234 times

Some things are eating away our views and our life style... One is the belief that cheap labor is good; either here in the USA or from places like China...
This is from an e-mail...

If even half of this is true, it’s a travesty!

Tomatoes and Cheap Labor or CHEAP TOMATOES?

This should make everyone think, be you Democrat, Republican or Independent.
From a California school teacher - - -

"As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of: I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a large southern California high school which is designated a Title 1 school, meaning that its students average lower socioeconomic and income levels.  Most of the schools you are hearing about, South Gate High, Bell Gardens , Huntington Park , etc., where these students are protesting, are also Title 1 schools. Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast and free lunch program. When I say free breakfast, I'm not talking a glass of milk and roll -- but a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make a Marriott proud. The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten. ( OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK )

I estimate that well over 50% of these students are obese or at least moderately overweight. About 75% or more DO have cell phones. The school also provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls (some as young as 13) so they can attend class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for babysitters or having family watch their kids. (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)

I was ordered to spend $700,000 on my department or risk losing funding for the upcoming year even though there was little need for anything; my budget was already substantial.
I ended up buying new computers for the computer learning center, half of which, one month later, have been carved with graffiti by the appreciative students who obviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free education in America. (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)

I have had to intervene several times for young and substitute teachers whose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students here in the country less then 3 months who raised so much hell with the female teachers, calling them "Putas" whores and throwing things that the teachers were in tears.
Free medical, free education, free food, day careetc., etc, etc. Is it any wonder they feel entitled to not only be in this country but to demand rights, privileges and entitlements ?

To those who want to point out how much these illegal immigrants contribute to our society because they LIKE their gardener and housekeeper and they like to pay less for tomatoes: spend some time in the real world of illegal immigration and see the TRUE costs. Higher insurance, medical facilities closing, higher medical costs, more crime, lower standards of education in our schools, overcrowding, new diseases etc., etc, etc.

For me, I'll pay more for tomatoes.

We need to wake up. The guest worker program will be a disaster because we won't have the guts to enforce it. Does anyone in their right mind really think they will voluntarily leave and return?

It does, however, have everything to do with culture: A third-world culture that does not value education, that accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of school by 15 and that refuses to assimilate , and an American culture that has become so weak and worried about "politically correctness" that we don't have the will to do anything about it. If this makes your blood boil, as it did mine, forward this to everyone you know. CHEAP LABOR?

Isn't that what the whole immigration issue is about?Business doesn't want to pay a decent wage. Consumers don't want expensive produce. Government will tell you Americans don't want the jobs. But the bottom line is cheap labor. The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth, a farce, and a lie.

There is no such thing as "cheap labor."

Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for $5.00 or 6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return , he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200 free. He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent.He qualifies for food stamps. He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care. His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school. He requires bilingual teachers and books. He qualifies for relief from high energy bills. If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SIS. Once qualified for SIS they can qualify for Medicare. All of this is at (our) taxpayer's expense. He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance. Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material. He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits.

Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after paying their bills and his.
The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime, graffiti and trash clean-up. Cheap labor? YEAH RIGHT! Wake up people!

THESE ARE THE QUESTIONS WE SHOULD BE ADDRESSING TO THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES FOR EITHER PARTY. 'AND WHEN THEY LIE TO US AND DON'T DO AS THEY SAY, WE SHOULD REPLACE THEM AT ONCE!'

Granddaddy Where are you?

Granddaddy where are you??

Families are our connection to our past and future...
Here is some personal history... This is a picture of my Mother's Father's (family) back about 1894... He is the boy on the far left!!

I learned many important things from this man... Courage, honesty, respect, and to always be true to your beliefs... I was 24 the year he passed on into Eternity...
I had spent much time in my formative years at his house in South Georgia... He took me first time hunting, (Quail) and fishing on the three rivers and many farm ponds... { He always carried a pistol in his tackle box; for the Water Moccasins & Copper Heads that hang out around the water, down in South Georgia...}
I learned about basic automobile while at his house... He had a Model "A" Ford coupe; and I learned to change spark plugs and such... He also had an Oldsmobile one of the first cars with an automatic transmission. He drove the model "A" most of the time mainly because he liked to shift... Well my brother and I sat out in the Oldsmobile and played driving... Well we decided that running the heater fan motor which had several speeds; allowed some simulates of driving... Well we forgot and left it on one day and of course it ran the battery down and Granddaddy was not happy... As he would sit out in the car, Sunday afternoons, listen to the radio and wave at folks going by!
He ran a Radio/ TV repair shop and I guess there is where I picked up my interest in electroics... He did not speak much but when he did you would really listen... He never attended any church that I knew of, but he lived the gospel... We said prayers and blessing at meals... He did not tolerate any cursing or nasty/crude actions... He would council us on the correct ways to live life... No cheating or stealing... He was always respected by all those, I saw him meet...
I learned about trust and respect at his house... I learned about firearms from him... Shot my first; when I was about 12... We, my brother and I, knew where he kept the guns; but we also knew there were some things that, you did not play with!! He had a hard hand and would on occasion put it to our back sides... This disproves the modern idea that a gun in a household; would automatically mean someone would be shot with it... What we need is some old fashion discipline and personable responsibility to be taught in the home!! A good butt warming goes a long way toward reinforcing that way of thinking also...
He was a gentle man who would even allow us to occasionally go up to the store to get some "Belly Wash" as he called soft drinks... He was a man who layed out a straight and narrow course for me to walk which has guided me well through life!! I am thankful to have had him in my life... He was a man short on words, but big on action... Especially in the general absence of my father; Granddaddy you were my inspiration and guide... THANK YOU!!
We will talk more about this fine Southern Gentleman, in another blog...

Shame...

This is one of our guide lines in life...

Shame or not... From (Ya' think?? HUH...) Blog Date: 7/23/2007 13:53:02 blog viewed 97,314 times since posted on line

what ever happened to "shame' or " Modesty" or the notion that we have a conscience which should act as a guardrail on our pathway of life??

To every Man, woman, or child...
What ever happened to our Conscience which is suppose to act as a kind of guard rail on the Pathway of life?? Who made " Modesty " a dirty word and why does it seem that no one feels shame any more?? These are just a few things we will look at today...

First; Shame is a good emotional reaction to things which are not in our best interest... HUH!! Imagine that folks; things that may not be our best interest... What a novel thought in this world of do what you want...

Yes, I know that the entertainment industry in recent years has shown every conceivable thing they can come up with; with out shame... They have lead the way to the thought; that there is no real shame... While the idea may be popular and flaunted in todays society; believe me this idea of ' No Shame" will come back to haunt us...
Shame used to keep our base, vial, personalities in check; so we could behave as civil humans; rather than with brute animals responces... Some would ask why we need to shame?? Well once you open the door to crass and crude actions, with out any remorse or consequences, you have set the trap for total failure... Shame is a stop gap or limiting factor so that we do not get beyond our real desires...

While desire is a GOD ordained emotion; it is to be with concern and understanding of the consequences in life... The old saying " There is no free lunch " would stand out as an example of not just jumping into bed with what ever comes down the pike... So desire is when controlled and directed a very worth wile thing in our life...

Modesty is another key part of this defense mechanism if you please... It allows one to bow out or learn to keep oneself in check; under many crude occasions... The built in mode was to have one excuse or remove oneself from such actives that could prove both dangerous or plain gross... It is these defense mechanisms if you please; that help us keep our person under control and responsive to our real wishes and desires... The idea is to learn to control and respond to our lust in life...

The main key is our conscience; the guardian which is the real keeper of our soul... Our conscience should direct us; so we can function in life and be the best person... If we can not learn to live with our life under control then we will never ever be able to do anything of value either for ourself or anyone else!! Our conscience is the key; to our controlling ourself and following our core values...

Now if you do not understand what core values are or how they operate; then we will need to cover this more later... This whole item of conscience is based on the primes that you are an intelligent spirit; who should be seeking the best pathway of life... Conscience is the reminder or presence of one's core values and built in principles where they help to reinforce ore existance... With out a conscience you are no more than a mad dog; or rabid skunk lost in the world of the sane and living... This is the curtain between evil and good; or sane and forever lost in mind and spirit... Without conscience one becomes a person with a reprobate mind!!

Very sad but so preventable; with a good conscience and strong mind; we can be the person GOD meant for us to be... Why do we even want to try to cross this mind field of grief and pain?? The decision is yours!!

I will write more on the conscience and soul for those who do not understand the connection... See Ya, Kermit

Life is about Choices!!
Friday, May 25, 2007 15:02

Life is about choice... DUH!! We all come here with one purpose; that is to learn how to become our self and then how to help others... If we can succeed in this task we have come full circle...It seems that many people tend to never really know in their heart of hearts who they really are... Such a shame; because our whole existence depends on who we become... This is beyond all physical or environments elements... It is the spiritual reality that we come to know who we really were meant to be...Therefore our very being is to focal point of our existence... It is from here that we develop into our Eternal selves... We seek to reconnect with GOD!! BTW: We all have this inward desire; just most do not know how to access it!!Maybe this sounds very odd to some but this element of our existence is hard wired into our soul... We want to be loved and connect with others who will support and cherish us... We each want eternal companionship... Stop by my web site as we explore this in more detail... @ http://www.simplytruth.com/... We must come to the realization of our existence; which is much more than just a few short years on this Green earth... See Ya... Kermit

Truth Prevails
Thursday, May 17, 2007 08:15
Copy of recent post....

Truth prevails; popularity passes...

True Words(Absolute Truth Some Wisdom and Intercourse....)Date: 5/16/2007 07:14:08... blog viewed 37,746 times since posted on lineLife is about recognizing the truth; then learning to live with the results... Learn to live the truth!!With the election coming up in the United States and all the so called political correctness crap; here are a few words of wisdom...Back in May 1948 @ 18:00 hours Washington time; when the State of Israel was declared a nation once more... Then @ 18:11 President Harry S. Truman signed a document recognizing Israel state's " de facto authority " and scrawled the word " Approved " ... By recognizing Israel, Truman knew he would be forever damned by people who did not want the Jews to have their own state... or who did not want it in Palestine! But as Truman always told himself, the ultimate test of any presidential decision was " not whether it's popular at the time, but whether it's right.... If it's right, make it, and let the popular take care of itself..." This was a world shaking decision and a very critical moment the world's history! It was how we should make important decisions in our life... Or in my words: " Do what is right and let the rest fall where it will" a Kermit-ism
2007Does it not seem that we are at a similar point in history; with some of the recent political goings on in Washington??Just maybe President Bush has got it right?? There is something here for you to think about and maybe even change the way you live the rest of your life?? The TRUTH is... Popularity passes!! So it is not about what how we feel about something; it is about what the true situation really is that counts!! Think long and hard about what the truth is in a given situation; dear friend!!Just maybe to cut and run out on our commitment; will bring a whole lot a grief to our door... See Ya... Kermit

Strawberry Meth is here!!

This is a MUST READ!!... "Dope is no Joke!!" a Kermit_ism 2007

Sorry to say but there are people out there who do not care if they hurt or destroy you or your family and friends... Yes besides the Islamic extreamist, see what they have planned for us now!!... Simply Truth... DUH!!

This is an email sent to concerned citizens in Georgia... Kermit

> > FYI -- From Jessie Hambrick Douglas County Sheriff's Office> Let's keep our children safe through awareness!> > Several of you have asked me or emailed me about the new "Strawberry Meth" information that has been circulating around. From what I can see, this "Strawberry Meth" is real and has been seen mostly in the Midwest area. It could be coming this way and it is probably something you want to talk to your kids or grandkids about. I have not seen or heard about it being found in Georgia yet, but it is probably a matter of time. I have included the email that is circulating which is in italics and two links to find out more on this topic. Of course if I do find some or hear of some here in Georgia I will keep you updated. > > http://www.snopes.com/horrors/drugs/candymeth.asp<http://www.snopes.com/horrors/drugs/candymeth.asp>> http://www.ky3.com/news/6626012.html<http://www.ky3.com/news/6626012.html> > > > > WILLARD, Mo. -- A new twist to an old drug may make it more appealing to children. It's called strawberry quick -- strawberry flavoring added to methamphetamine to make it taste more like candy -- and it's already made its appearance in the Ozarks. > The first sighting of strawberry quick was in Willard, not too far from the town's debris dumpsite. It's strawberry flavored and it could be the first of a new trend. It's causing a major buzz with law officers and community groups.> > It looks like rock candy, the kind someone might buy as a treat, but there's nothing sweet about these crystals.> > "It has a more user-friendly appearance, if you will," said Capt. Randy Gibson of the Greene County Sheriff's Department.> > Strawberry quick is basically meth with pink coloring and strawberry flavoring to remove the bitter test of just plain meth. It showed up on the west coast in mid-February and, in almost no time, wound up here.> > "It was almost overnight," said Gibson.> > Greene County officers recently pulled over a car for a traffic violation and found about two grams of it in a seat. So far, detectives think it's the only case in this area but that doesn't stop community leaders from worrying about the drug's impact on kids.> > "When it's put in that kind of format, people often think it's less hazardous," said Melissa Haddow, executive director of Community Partnership of the Ozarks. "This may appeal to kids that meth or crystal would not appeal to."> > Haddow compares it to how kids think of alcohol. Many see hard liquor, like gin, as dangerous but, at the same time, see drinks like wine coolers as safe.> > "I don't know if it's deliberately targeted to kids but certainly it's going to be more palatable for kids," said Gibson.> > "I don't think it is huge right now in the Ozarks at all," said Haddow, "but we don't want to glamorize it, that's for sure."> > The Community Partnership is sending out surveys to area schools to get an idea of how bad meth is among students and to see how much they know, if anything, about strawberry quick.> > > Subject: new Meth appearance> (Message from a principal where this took place)> > I have been alerted by one of our EMT's for our volunteer fire> department that they have received emails from emergency responder> organizations to be on the lookout for a new form of crystalized> methamphetamine that is targeted at children and to be aware of this new> form if called to an emergency involving a child that may have symptoms> of drug induction or overdose.> > They are calling this new form of meth "Strawberry Quick" and it looks> like the "Pop Rocks" candy that sizzle in your mouth. In its current> form, it is dark pink in color and has a strawberry scent to it.> > Please advise your children and their friends and other students not to> accept candy from strangers as this is obviously an attempt to seduce> children into drug use. They also need to be cautious in accepting> candy from even friends that may have received it from someone else,> thinking it is just candy.> > I don't want this email to scare anyone, but as a parent, administrator> and friend, I thought it would be best to share this with you, so you> can once again talk to your children about the effects of drugs and how> easy it could be to take drugs without knowing it, until it is too late.> I worry, just as each of you do about kids and drugs and all the> problems our kids today are faced with. A Poem on life...

This is how I see it anyway!!

Poem on the view of your life!!
From: (Absolute Truth Some Wisdom and Intercourse.) Blog
Date: 4/26/2007 13:13..  blog viewed 34,680 times since posted online

We all have to make decisions each and every day about our future are you ready??

A poem on the life we live!!:

Things come and things will go...
Through it all, we need to grow,

But without much knowledge, we are down here...
To spend a life; learning, doubt, and fear,

The problem is between body and soul...
As we work and pray for our final goal,

Tossed between heaven and hell...
We all seek what our future will tell,

If we follow the path that will not allow...
We should not fail; there is only one to whom we must bow,

Though you may see many evil temptations...
May you know that there is just one true situation,

All is not lost until your heart's final beat...
Then where do you will find your eternal seat?

Life is not about things and what we have... If only we could learn that is about who we help and those in need...
If you could only learn to: visit the sick,  or those in prison, to clothe the nearly naked,  then feed the hungry, and give drink to the thirsty;  you will have done it to the least of our brothers and sisters... HUH!!
All we do in this life points to the Eternity to come; so where will you spend Eternity, Dear Friend!! That is the question you must answer!!

I have been truly blessed and have far more than I Deserve in this life!!
See Ya Kermit

If they ask me!!

Most things in life either don't count for much or just a waste of your time...

SO if you really want to become more productive on your pathway of life start looking toward becoming a "Spirit Warrior" What is a Spirit Warrior?? Well it should be the goul of every human... We will be exploring more on this great calling so stop back by as we analize the pathway of a Spirit Warrior...

14 February 2007

What are we doing??

Well the world goes around they say...
The question is who are we and why are we doing what ever with our lives??

This has been the major question for centuries!! But it is one we all must answer; either directly or in a delayed manner... Either way we will answer it!!

So lets look at some reasons people do not get their act together as they say:

1) Some people are waiting for something to happen... What they do not realize is that things are happening each and every day!! Ready or not things change and people move on... The plan is to try to see the pattern in each of our lives so we can make the appropriate actions to achieve more of what we want in life...

2) Another thing that strangles people is just not having any foresight or Gumption as we say down in Dixie!! Wither you realize it or not the only thing that gets rewards or advancement is efforts... This requires you to decide then do something... HUH!! Nothing gets ever gets done just sitting around and waiting for someone else to do it for you!!

3) Next is the common but false belief that someone owes you something!! The example of this is most of the so called government "entitlement " programs... An example is the current method where the so called "Income tax" {BTW: That is suppose to be a tax on Income or earning} now actually pays people who never earned or paid any tax... What is wrong with this picture?? Of course as usual those on the receiving end love it; and those who are forced to pay it resent it!! So it goes back to why do people think someone owes them something??

4) Many people think life is about getting a lot of stuff; and many times not even caring where it comes from... HUH!! This is really a warped view which shows why so many people tend to be the greedy self centered people they are... DUH!! What you should be doing is learning to help others and then benefit yourself by contributing more than you take from society!! What an idea, well maybe you might try it some time!!

These are just a few ideas we can look at to make this a better world both for our self and those we are privileged to meet on our pathway of life!!

Life in 2007...
