If we are to -

If we are to ever get ahead; then there are certain things which must happen:

1) We must come to decide or know that we are not perfect and seek change for the better!

2) No matter where our life course has taken us, there is always a better pathway if we just become dedicated into finding it!

3) Most of whatever went on in your life should not limit you from finding the best course for you from now on!

4) Unless you come to make a complete course change in your life - things will not improve!

5) The whole purpose of our life here is not to get things or accumulate stuff!

6) Our real purpose is to seek The Lord God in our life, then learn what you must do to become His friend and confidant!

7) The next biggest thing in our life is to learn how to love our neighbors!

8) Unless you come to repent and turn your life over to the Lord God all your total efforts will get you no where!

9) Once you get the crystal clear picture of who you really are, then can accept and live that chosen life all else will not matter!

10) The main purpose in my life is to make where ever I am or have been better for my having  there.

" A place called there! "

The Answer’s Simple—Obedience Is the Question

Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
Have you ever wondered why people genuinely find the answer to that question puzzling?
“And God created…every living creature that moveth…and every winged fowl after his kind…. [22] And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful,
and multiply
.”

Genesis 1:21-22a, emphasis mine
The answer is only puzzling if you don’t know what God’s Word says about it. The chicken came first.

Knowing God’s answer is not the only thing that matters, though. Once you have an answer from Him, your obedience to His Word becomes the question. In Andrew’s Lessons from Elijah teaching, he demonstrates how Elijah’s life teaches that both hearing and continuing to obey God’s voice are important.

Elijah “appears on the scene with no introduction” (p. 1) during a time
of wickedness:
“And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the Lord above all that were before him. [31] …he took to wife Jezebel…and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.”
1 Kings 16:30-31
The word of drought that God gave Elijah to declare to Ahab changed everyone’s circumstances—even his own. Today, too, in a climate of confusion and darkness, believers are looking for answers. But as Andrew puts it, that’s not really the problem:

“It’s not a lack of words [or answers] from God that is the problem; it’s the failure of people to realize what they have in God’s Word and [to] act on it that is the problem today” (p. 3, brackets mine).

In other words, the real problem lies in believing an answer God’s provided and taking the next step of obedience to what He has said:

“We want to have the entire picture before we step out on God’s Word. Elijah didn’t have that! He didn’t know that the Lord was going to make supernatural provision for him. He just had one word from God: ‘Tell the king a drought is coming.’ Then after he was faithful to go and speak forth that word, God revealed the next step” (p. 7).

I faced a time like this in my own life. In March 2013, I attended Charis Campus Days in Colorado, thinking I was just there to find out about distance learning. In one of the sessions, Andrew said, “Someone here is thinking— I can’t come to school because I have older parents, my son will have to switch schools, I have a business, I have a dog…” I felt like there was a giant neon arrow pointing down at me. I knew God was speaking. Then Andrew said, “If that’s you, stand up.” I felt as though I had on a 100-pound lead suit. I struggled to stand and was the only one standing. Slowly others stood. He prayed that we would never forget the moment that we got the call to come to school.

When I went home, I found out that there were real obstacles to my obeying God.
However, as I faced each situation, it was as if I had been given a machete and was hacking my way through a jungle. For me, it became a question of continual obedience.
By August of that same year, my belongings were in a trailer going west, and my son and I were traveling toward Colorado in a car the Lord had provided for me just two weeks earlier.

Andrew teaches through Elijah’s life that God sends provision to the place He intends you to be. He calls this principle “a place called ‘there.’” Because God is good, He may give you supernatural incentives to make your obedience easier, but—
“Your place called ‘there’ isn’t necessarily a specific geographic location. It’s often more an attitude of wholeheartedly moving toward doing what God has said for you to do” (p. 21).

The outcomes of my obedience have been wonderful. My three years at Charis Bible College healed and changed me. The Lord has positioned me in the Andrew Wommack Ministries Publications Department, from where I am blogging today.

Lessons from Elijah makes it clear that you will find God’s answers for your life—obedience is the only real question.

Do You Really Need That Statin? This Expert Says No

08/28/2012 11:50 am ET | Updated Oct 28, 2012
This is an interview with Barbara H. Roberts, M.D., author of The Truth About Statins: Risks and Alternatives to Cholesterol-Lowering Drugs.
Statins are medications that lower cholesterol by inhibiting an enzyme involved in its production by the liver and other organs. First approved by the FDA in 1987, statins are arguably the most widely-prescribed medicine in the industrialized world today — and the most profitable, representing billions a year in profits to the drug industry. In fact, Lipitor was the world’s best-selling drug until its patent expired recently. Yet most trials that prove statins’ effectiveness in preventing cardiac events and death have been funded by companies and principle investigators who stand to benefit from their wide use. In February, the FDA warned that statins can increase users’ risk of Type 2 diabetes and memory loss, confusion and other cognition problems.
Barbara H. Roberts, M.D., is director of the Women’s Cardiac Center at the Miriam Hospital in Providence, R.I. and associate clinical professor of medicine at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She spent two years at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where she was involved in the first clinical trial that demonstrated a beneficial effect of lowering cholesterol on the incidence of heart disease. In addition to The Truth About Statins: Risks and Alternatives to Cholesterol-Lowering Drugs, she is also author of How to Keep From Breaking Your Heart: What Every Woman Needs to Know About Cardiovascular Disease.
Martha Rosenberg: Statins have become so popular with adults middle-aged and older in industrialized countries, they are almost a pharmaceutical rite of passage. Yet you write in your new book there is little evidence they are effective in many groups and no evidence they are effective in one group: women without heart disease. Worse, you provide evidence, including stories from your own patients, that they are doing serious harm.
Barbara Roberts: Yes. Every week in my practice I see patients with serious side effects to statins, and many did not need to be treated with statins in the first place. These side effects range from debilitating muscle and joint pain to transient global amnesia, neuropathy, cognitive dysfunction, fatigue and muscle weakness. Most of these symptoms subside or improve when they are taken off statins. There is even growing evidence of a statin link to Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Martha Rosenberg: One patient you write about caused a fire in her home by forgetting that the stove was on. Another was a professor who experienced such memory loss on a statin he could no longer teach; others ended up in wheelchairs. The only thing more shocking than the side effects you write about is the apparent blindness of the medical establishment to them. Until half a year ago, there were practically no warnings at all.
Barbara Roberts: There is no question that many doctors have swallowed the Kool-Aid. Big Pharma has consistently exaggerated the benefits of statins and some physicians used scare tactics so that patients are afraid that if they go off the statins, they will have a heart attack immediately. Yet high cholesterol, which the statins address, is a relatively weak risk factor for developing atherosclerosis. For example, diabetes and smoking are far more potent when it comes to increasing risk.
Martha Rosenberg: One group you say should not be given statins at all because there is no benefit and significant risk is women who have no heart disease.
Barbara Roberts: In three major studies [1-3] of women without diagnosed heart disease, but who were at high risk (in one of these studies, each participant had to have high blood pressure and three other risk factors), 40 women out of 4,904 on statins had either a heart attack or cardiac death, compared to 44 women out of 4,836 on placebo. That is not a statistically significant difference. Since the likelihood of experiencing a statin side effect is about 20 to 25 percent, the risk of putting a healthy woman on a statin far outweighs the benefit. Still, statins are routinely given to this group because the guidelines are shaped by Big Pharma. The guidelines are not supported by the evidence, and in the case of healthy women I don’t follow them.
Martha Rosenberg: You give a story in your book about your 92-year-old patient who had a total cholesterol of 266, triglycerides of 169, HDL cholesterol of 66, and LDL cholesterol of 165. Her primary care doctor wanted her to take a statin, but you did not feel she needed to because she had no evidence of heart disease, had never smoked, did not have high blood pressure and was not diabetic.
Barbara Roberts: Yes and today she is 103.5 — and doing fine, never having taken a statin.
Martha Rosenberg: In The Truth About Statins you explain pretty clearly how studies have made statins look more effective and safer than they are. How has this been done?
Barbara Roberts: First of all, the studies are of short duration, and some of them even have a “run in” phase during which people are given the drug to see if they tolerate it. If not, they are not enrolled in the study. Secondly, study subjects are cherry-picked to exclude the very elderly, people with liver or kidney disease or those with any chronic illness that might “muddy” the results —
Martha Rosenberg: In other words, the very people who will be taking them?
Barbara Roberts: Yes, and of course patients will also be staying on the drugs for life unlike trial subjects. Then, the data from the studies are usually given in terms of relative rather than absolute risk. The absolute risk of a cardiac event is only reduced by a few percentage points by statins and in some patients, like the women without heart disease we just talked about, the reduction is not even statistically significant. In some studies surrogate endpoints like inflammation or artery thickness are used but a favorable change in surrogate markers does not always translate into clinical benefit. In addition, many studies use composite end points, which include not only “hard” end points like heart attack or death (which are pretty hard to misdiagnose) but also “softer” end points like the “need” for revascularization or the occurrence of acute coronary syndromes. For example, studies may be performed in many countries with very different rates of revascularization procedures, making use of this as an end point very problematic.
Martha Rosenberg: This brings to mind the JUPITER trial, which enrolled people without heart disease, with normal levels (less than 130) of LDL or bad cholesterol, but evidence of increased inflammation as measured by the hsCRP test and treated them with placebo or rosuvastatin. JUPITER stood for “Justification for the Use of Statins in Prevention,” and both the study and its principle investigator were funded by AstraZeneca, who makes the statin Crestor. The principal investigator also holds the patent for the hsCRP blood test. Why was JUPITER regarded as medical science and not marketing?
Barbara Roberts: Actually, the JUPITER study was criticized to some extent. But you have to remember that medical journals depend upon Big Pharma for their ads and reprint orders just as medical centers and medical professionals rely on Big Pharma for funding. It is a round robin situation that probably won’t change until the patients, doctors and the public demand change. As for CRP, it can also rise if a patient has a cold, bronchitis or is taking post-menopausal hormones.
Martha Rosenberg: You are very outspoken about the problem of industry shaping and influencing medical practice, yet you also admit that you accepted Big Pharma money yourself.
Barbara Roberts: In 2004, Pfizer asked me to become a speaker, specifically on Lipitor. I told the drug rep who invited me to be a speaker that I would be interested in giving talks on gender-specific aspects of cardiac disease, but not in just talking about their statin, and I gave lectures in restaurants and hospitals. Despite the fact that Pfizer was sponsoring my talks, I never failed to point out that there was no evidence that Lipitor — or any statin — prevented cardiac events in women who did not have established cardiovascular disease. They tolerated this until one day a regional manager came to one of my talks, and then I was disinvited. I was on the speaker’s bureau for another company, Abbott, but when they began to insist that I use their slides rather than my own, I gave up being on any Big Pharma speaker’s bureaus. I write in my book that even though my interactions with drug and device companies complied with ethical guidelines it does not mean I was not influenced.
Martha Rosenberg: In journalism, when a reporter takes money from someone she is writing about, she is regarded as no longer a reporter but a publicist. Yet doctors who consult to Pharma are not judged as harshly and most contend they are not influenced by industry money...
Barbara Roberts: They are wrong. An article in the American Journal of Bioethics in 2003 found that gifts bestow a sense of indebtedness and influence behavior whether or not the recipient is directly conscious of it. More recently, research presented at a symposium at Houston’s Baylor College of Medicine called the Scientific Basis of Influence and Reciprocity mapped actual changes in the brain when gifts are received.
Martha Rosenberg: I was surprised to find recipes in your book and even more surprised by some of your dietary recommendations, such as avoiding a low-fat diet and eating a lot of olive oil. A lot of experts have recommended a low-fat diet.
Barbara Roberts: The first thing I prescribe to my patients who have low levels of the “good” or HDL cholesterol is two to three tablespoons of olive oil a day, and in every case the HDL increases. Olive oil is rich in polyphenols, which have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Several studies [4-5] have shown that the Mediterranean diet reduces total mortality and especially death from cardiovascular disease, yet it gets little media attention. The Mediterranean diet is a plant-based diet that includes colorful vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, cheese, nuts, olive oil, seafood, red wine with meals, and very little meat.
Martha Rosenberg: You indict professional medical associations like the American Heat Association (AHA) for profiteering at the public’s expense by calling harmful foods healthful in exchange for corporate money.
Barbara Roberts: For years, the AHA preached the gospel of the low-fat diet, calling it the “cornerstone” of its dietary recommendations though there was, and is, no evidence of its benefit. The AHA rakes in millions from food corporations for the use of its “heart-check mark.” Some of the so-called heart-healthy foods it has endorsed include Boar’s Head All Natural Ham, which contains 340 milligrams of sodium in a two-ounce serving, and Boar’s Head EverRoast Oven Roasted Chicken Breast, which contains 440 milligrams of sodium in a two-ounce serving. High sodium intake raises blood pressure, which increases the risk of cardiovascular disease. In addition, studies have shown that eating processed meat increases the risk of diabetes and atherosclerosis.
Martha Rosenberg: You are not afraid to express strong opinions. You say that the AHA has “sold its soul,” that medical centers conducting drug trials for Big Pharma have become “hired hands” and that one university medical center is Big Pharma’s “lapdog.” Are you afraid of retaliation from Big Pharma, medical centers or the colleagues you work with?
Barbara Roberts: I haven’t received any communiqués from Big Pharma. A few colleagues have expressed dismay, but I am thick-skinned and hard-headed and don’t care what they say. My main concern is the health and safety of my patients.

Hi Kermit,

Yes, you read that correctly - your teeth are alive.

Did you know you can regenerate your tooth enamel?

You can repair cavities - without a dentist.

You can have squeaky clean teeth - just like coming out of the hygienists office - and not pay a cent?

Yup, its true.

A few years ago I was on an adventure (and you know by now that I venture pretty far off the beaten path). I found this amazing healer named Doug Simons who lives mostly out in the wilderness. Doug had watched how the animals take care of their teeth, and he learned from primitive peoples (like the Tarahumara Indians) how they take care of their teeth. Doug's program for tooth care uses no fluoride, and no manufactured chemicals. He can show you how to care for your teeth using only things that can be found in nature.

Now Doug is kinda different. Uh, some folks have called him a tree hugger, and he has that 'indigenous' earthy sort of vibe to him. You may already be familiar with Doug if you tuned in to watch the Home Grown Food Summit last month. He gave a great presentation during the Summit that got very positive feedback from our viewers.

To get you introduced to Doug's program and get you oriented to what this is all about, check out this free video I made. But be sure to buy the whole full-length DVD as there is so much more to learn. And gosh, it costs much less than even a single visit to the dentist.

I hope you'll take advantage of this great offer, and learn all about Doug's method for natural tooth care.

Warmly,

PS - This information is invaluable in a total grid down situation. But really, it is super useful right now. I use these teeth cleaning techniques every day - it is way better than brushing. Click here: www.AlternativesToDentists.com

sinus surgery can damage you?

How to cure those sinus problems once and for all

Wake up and smell the coffee?

 You wish!

If you're among the estimated 40 million Americans battling chronic sinus problems, you can barely smell a thing.

It's like having a cold that never quite goes away. Or, it's like having allergies -- except it seems like you're allergic to absolutely everything.

I've got a surefire way to beat this condition so you can breathe better than ever -- and I'll share the secret in a moment.

But first, a new study spots a simple drug-free way to breath a little easier... as long as you don't mind getting some strange looks.

It's those little strips and tubes people use at night to stop snoring.

The strips look almost like a Band-Aid and go across the nose, while the tubes go inside and stick out just a little bit.

They work the same way: They hold the nostrils open just a little wider to let a little more air in, and the new analysis of 10 studies finds that if you're willing to wear them all day long, you can get some relief from chronic sinus problems.

The downside -- in addition to the strange looks -- is that none of these things are very comfortable, especially for all-day use.

But they're certainly better than drugs or surgery.

Over-the-counter meds can make you loopy, groggy, and cranky, while the prescription glucocorticoids used to cut inflammation in the sinuses can weaken your immune system and expose you to infection risk.

Surgery is even worse.

Sinus surgery is an extremely tricky procedure in a very delicate area. If anything goes wrong, a stuffy nose will be the least of your worries.

A botched sinus surgery can damage your vision... cause problems in your mouth, jaw, and teeth... or even lead to permanent headaches.

In some cases, the surgery doesn't even help much.

So naturally, the research team behind the new study suggests that sinus patients try nasal strips or tubes before turning to surgery, and that makes at least some sense.

But I've got something better than all of the above.

I've found that most cases of chronic sinus infections are caused by fungal growth and fungal infections. Mainstream docs will tell you the only way to treat it is with surgery to remove the infected tissue, but that's just not true.

Grapefruit seed extract and oregano oil in the form of a nasal spray can often wipe the infection out, sometimes in a matter of days.

If you've tried those and they don't work, or don't clear it up completely, food sensitivities and/or undiagnosed allergies could also play a role. A holistic medical doctor can test for the causes and come up with a treatment plan that's right for you.

God bless,

Dr. Mark Stengler

Cancer cure Dr. shot

Dear Reader,

You don't ever hear about them...

Operating just outside the circle of the mainstream, a small group of maverick doctors are quietly curing people of cancer.

...An oncologist discovered a way to naturally turn off cancer-causing genes.
...One doctor said his protocol had a 100% cure rate for advanced pancreatic cancer.
...Another doctor's treatment kills breast cancer cells in only 3 days.
But once news about these therapies finally started getting some buzz, something shocking happened.

These doctors died under mysterious circumstances. (EXTREMELY mysterious, as you're about to see.) And they weren't the only ones...

All told, 15 natural health doctors died or disappeared within a recent four-month period.

That's why we kicked off an independent investigation when this situation began to unfold last June.

Today we're sharing with you the stunning evidence we uncovered. And more important, details on the groundbreaking cancer research these doctors were doing.

If you or a loved one have ever had cancer, or you're worried about getting it, this video is a must-see. But I urge you to hurry. Due to its controversial nature, I don't know how long it will stay online.

Eisenhower's final warnings

Dear Reader,

General Eisenhower was the most powerful American general in history, leading the Allied forces to a decisive victory over the Nazi-led Axis Powers in World War II.

"Ike" grew so popular that he won the 1952 presidential election in a stunning landslide, taking almost five times as many electoral votes as his competitor, Adlai Stevenson.

But Eisenhower's final act as public servant came 16 years after the end of WWII, and yet almost no Americans know about it.

He issued a stinging rebuke to a secret group of powerful players buried deep within the U.S. government.

The dark force he warned of sought to control the money and banking systems, restrict core citizen freedoms and to pull the strings of every branch of government.

General Eisenhower's final warning was a clarion call for the common American taxpaying citizen: a call to every man to protect himself and his family from the encroaching secret power of this underground government.

His message has never been more important because the shadowy force he warned of has only grown in power to this day. And so has the threat they pose to your freedoms, money, and financial independence.

My dad, Bill Bonner, recently unearthed Eisenhower's videotaped warning and added some controversial analysis of his own. You'll want to see it because Eisenhower's warning has never been more urgent. Here's the whole video.

Regards,
Will Bonner

P.S. Don't let the circus of today's presidential election distract you from the threat Eisenhower revealed in his final warning. Here's the entire story, along with my dad's thoughts, so you can decide what to do for yourself...

A CALL TO DISCIPLESHIP #46 of 48

LEVEL 3
LESSON 14
A CALL TO DISCIPLESHIP
By Andrew Wommack

Today we’re going to talk about being a disciple and how to make disciples of other
people. I want to remind you that the Lord gave us a command not to go make converts, not to just get people to confess Jesus as their Lord and receive forgiveness of sins, but to make disciples. Although those first two are vital, and I’m not minimizing that at all, the real purpose has to be to go beyond being born again and to go on to maturity. The goal of a Christian, who is a disciple, should be to go and make disciples of other people.

Jesus told us to go and make disciples, to bring people to maturity, and to be able to
reproduce. Our church world today hasn’t done this. We’ve put the responsibility of getting
people born again on what we call the clergy, or ministers. We have evangelists who travel
around, hold large crusades, and see thousands of people make decisions for the Lord. Though some of them are not really born again but are just experiencing emotions, I’m sure there are people who are truly born again and have a relationship with the Lord. Most of the time, however, there’s not an emphasis on going on and becoming a disciple, and that’s not the way God intended it to be.

I compare this to a person who loves babies. It would be totally irresponsible to have
a baby, be excited about him or her, but only like seeing him or her born. When you have a
child, you have to assume responsibility to train and raise that child. We tell people, “The main thing is to get born again, to confess Jesus as your Lord.” When that happens, we pat them on the back and say, “Now you’re a Christian. Believe God, study the Bible, and everything will be okay.” That is not the Lord’s emphasis.

Because of this, we’ve produced people, many of whom have made heartfelt commitments
to the Lord, but have no maturity. They are unable to reproduce their faith because there is
no material to help them. Instead of being positive witnesses for Jesus, they actually become negative witnesses. He intends for us to go out and reach people in a way that they become full fledged disciples and are able to reproduce their faith in others.

If you led one person to the Lord every six months, separated yourself and discipled
them to the point that they became a mature Christian who could reproduce their faith, at the end of six months there’d only be two Christians. Then, if each one of you led one person to the Lord, separated yourselves and discipled them for six months, at the end of a year there’d be four Christians. This doesn’t look comparable to a person who could lead a thousand people to the Lord in a crusade and get them to confess Jesus. Most people would say, “Well, this discipleship method only produces four converts in the first year, whereas the other method would produce a thousand converts. We have to go with the other one.”
The man who could lead a thousand  people to the Lord would have led 35,000 people to the Lord. That’s good, and nobody would criticize it; but it’s just a drop in the bucket compared to the world population. Basically, that’s the way the church has been functioning.

If we emphasize discipleship, the person who leads one person to the Lord every six
months and those two do the same, in just a little over twelve and a half years they would
evangelize more than the population of the world. Some people think That can’t be, but I
challenge you to figure it out. I’ve multiplied it out, and in a little over twelve-and-a-half years, one person disciplining another person every six months, making them a reproducing member of the body of Christ, could evangelize five and a half billion people versus twelve-and-a-half thousand people with the other method.

If we could get you to where you not only experienced victory and maturity yourself
but had a desire to go out and reproduce it in other people, if you became the trainer instead of the trainee, here are some of the things that could happen if only one person got a hold of this concept, followed the Lord to a place of maturity, and started disciplining another person. If you only did this with one person per year, at the end of one year, there would be you and the person you discipled—two. At the end of two years, there’d be four. But, if you could continue to follow that, at the end of ten years there’d be 1,024 people who had been discipled and were reproducing members of the body of Christ.

If you continued, with only one person originally receiving this, at the end of twenty years there’d be over a million people. That’s awesome. This is the method of multiplication that the Lord established—going and making disciples, not going and making converts. It’s by far the best way to expand the kingdom to reach people, but our mindset is looking for the quick fix.

How many people go to large crusades, make commitments, go proclaim to be
Christians, still have anger, bitterness, and jealousy, and become negative witnesses? If we want to count statistics, how many people have been turned away from the true Gospel because they saw someone who proclaimed Christianity and thought, I’m as good as the hypocrites down there at church. I don’t need it.  {A sad condition for a believer}

The whole point is that discipleship is the method God set down for evangelizing the
world. The truth doesn’t make you free until you continue in the Word (John 8:31-32).
Jesus then said to the Jews who had believed in him[that is a striking phrase: "Jews who had believed in him"-- Jews for Jesus, if you like], "If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. (John 8:31-32 RSV)

That’s what God wants for each individual so they can experience His fullness, but it’s also the method of evangelism that He set down. Whoever decided that was not the way to do it has substituted another method that hasn’t worked.

I pray that God speaks this to your heart to show you the value of discipleship. I
encourage you to go on and become a disciple and a discipler of other people.

   ------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. It may surprise you to know that Jesus never called anyone to become a “Christian,” rather His call was for people to become “disciples.” Look through the Gospels
(Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), and on a separate sheet of paper, find and list as many scriptures as you can that show Jesus’ calling was to discipleship.

2. In the book of Acts, people were not invited to be “Christians,” rather their call was to become “disciples.” Look through the book of Acts, and on a separate sheet of paper, find and list as many scriptures as you can that show people being called to discipleship.

3. In Scripture, the word “disciple(s)” is used a total of 273 times. In all the Bible, the word “Christian(s) is used a total of three times. List and write out on a separate sheet of paper the three times that the word “Christian(s)” is used in Scripture.

4. Read Matthew 10:25.
What is a disciple, according to this verse?

MATTHEW 10:25 –
It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

5. Read Luke 14:26.
True or false: Being Jesus’ disciple means the unconditional sacrifice of one’s life for the
whole of another’s life.

LUKE 14:26 –
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

6. Read Luke 14:33.
True or false: In at least some cases, being Jesus’ disciple meant the literal abandonment of everything, to put the claim of Jesus first.

LUKE 14:33 –
So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsakes not all that he hath,
he cannot be my disciple.

7. Read Matthew 19:29.
True or false: Everyone that has forsaken houses, brothers, sisters, father, mother, wife,
children, or lands, for Jesus’ sake, will receive a hundred times as much, and shall inherit everlasting life.

MATTHEW 19:29 –
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an
hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

8. Read Acts 14:22.
True or false: Disciples need to continue in the faith.

ACTS 14:22 –
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue
in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

9. Read Hebrews 10:14.
True or false: The real objection that some have to the Scriptures that emphasize
discipleship is that to be a “Christian” requires no effort (it is by grace), but to be a “disciple” requires real sacrifice and commitment. The truth is that the redemption of Christ required no effort on our part; it is perfect and requires no effort from us, but Christ’s
call was always for our whole and absolute life.

HEBREWS 10:14 –
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

10. Read Acts 11:26.
True or false: Christ’s call was not for two kinds of believers, some to be Christians
that remain carnal and some to be disciples. In reality, Christians and disciples were supposed to be the same.

ACTS 11:26 –
And when  he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch.
And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church,
and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

11. Read Matthew 28:19.
Jesus’ commission to the believers was to go and make:
A. Disciples
B. Converts of all nations

MATTHEW 28:19-20 –
19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the
Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

12. Read Matthew 28:20.
True or false: Believers are to teach others to obey everything that Jesus commanded.

13. Read John 1:12.
True or false: Jesus did offer His benefits (forgiveness, justification, etc.), but not without
taking His person.

JOHN 1:12 –
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of
God, even to them that believe on his name.

     ====================================

1. It may surprise you to know that Jesus never called anyone to become a “Christian,”
rather His call was for people to become “disciples.” Look through the Gospels
(Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), and on a separate sheet of paper, find and list as many
scriptures as you can that show Jesus’ calling was to discipleship.

2. In the book of Acts, people were not invited to be “Christians,” rather their call was to
become “disciples.” Look through the book of Acts, and on a separate sheet of paper,
find and list as many scriptures as you can that show people being called to discipleship.

3. In Scripture, the word “disciple(s)” is used a total of 273 times. In all the Bible, the word
“Christian(s) is used a total of three times. List and write out on a separate sheet of
paper the three times that the word “Christian(s)” is used in Scripture.
Acts 11:26, 26:28; and 1 Peter 4:16

4. Read Matthew 10:25.
What is a disciple, according to this verse?
A disciple is one who becomes like his teacher or master

5. Read Luke 14:26.
Being Jesus’ disciple means the unconditional sacrifice of one’s life for the whole of another’s life.
True

6. Read Luke 14:33.
In at least some cases, being Jesus’ disciple meant the literal abandonment of everything, to put the claim of Jesus first.
True

7. Read Matthew 19:29.
Everyone that has forsaken houses, brothers, sisters, father,
mother, wife, children, or lands, for Jesus’ sake, will receive a hundred times as much,
and shall inherit everlasting life.
True

8. Read Acts 14:22.
Disciples need to continue in the faith.
True

9. Read Hebrews 10:14.
The real objection that some have to the Scriptures that emphasize discipleship, is that to be a “Christian” requires no effort (it is by grace), but to be a “disciple” requires real sacrifice and commitment. The truth is that the redemption of Christ required no effort on our part; it is perfect and requires no effort from us, but Christ’s call was always for our whole and absolute life.
True

10. Read Acts 11:26.
Christ’s call was not for two kinds of believers, some to be Christians
that remain carnal and some to be disciples. In reality, Christians and disciples were
supposed to be the same.
True

11. Read Matthew 28:19.
Jesus’ commission to the believers was to go and make:
A. Disciples

12. Read Matthew 28:20.
Believers are to teach others to obey everything that Jesus commanded.
True

13. Read John 1:12.
Jesus did offer His benefits (forgiveness, justification, etc.), but not without taking His person.
True

90 SUSPICIOUS DEATHS OF INDIVIDUALS CLOSE TO BILL CLINTON, 81 WHILE PRESIDENT
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     "A trail of Death"
 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The following is a list of a number of persons who have died in suspicious circumstances who
had connection to the Clinton's or the Clinton's dealings. The length and breadth of this list is
disconcerting. It is beyond credibility that very many of these cases are coincidences. Forward
any errors or inconsistencies as the list has been compiled from multiple sources:

going to be a big deal made of it. This combat veteran, and our
highest ranking naval officer, responsible for a couple of hundred
     thousand service men, and always a capable officer and soldier;
now a year after settling the issue, he shoots himself over it?

Clinton's part 1 of 2 Is it Truth of Fiction??

The People President Clinton Didn’t Have to Pardon…Because They’re All Dead-Truth! & Fiction!

Summary of eRumor:
This a list of people associated with Bill Clinton…all of whom have died, some of them under mysterious circumstances.
Note:  Our research on some of this story is still continuing, but because of the number of requests, we are posting what we have.  Check back for updates.

The Truth:
This has also become known as “Clinton’s Body Count.”  We’ll go through the entire list and evaluate each one, but it is true that some of them had some connection with Bill Clinton, or with someone who was in Clinton’s sphere, and that many of them died violently or by suicide.  That raises the question of whether their deaths were related and whether any of the deaths can be linked in any way to Bill Clinton.

There is no credible evidence that any of the deaths is related or can be attributed to Bill Clinton.  Some of the descriptions of the deaths are not accurate.

According to a May 5, 2000 article in the Arkansas Times, the “Body Count” list originated on an Internet site in 1994 run by an Indianapolis lawyer named Linda Thompson of the American Justice Federation.  It has been circulating ever since.  The list came up in sworn testimony that White House employee Linda Tripp gave to Judicial Watch chairman Larry Klayman in December, 1998.  Trip testified that a hand-written list of people who were involved with Clinton and who had suffered mysterious deaths ended up on her office chair in the White House.
This was just before the sex scandal between White House Intern Monica Lewinsky and President Clinton became known publicly.  Tripp said that the list was accompanied by a note that said, “Linda, just thought you’d find this of interest.”
One important comment.

There are many well-known historical events that are surrounded by unanswered questions.  A lack of answers to the questions doesn’t mean that the questions are meaningless or that new facts couldn’t be found.  It is easier to come up with questions, however, than to come up with answers, and if we are to come to any conclusions, it should be based on evidence, not just the fact that questions exist.

Unless otherwise specified, the information has been confirmed from multiple published sources such as USA Today, CNN, The Associated Press, or other general media.
Let’s go through the names one-by-one.  Please note that the Truth! or Fiction! designations refer only to whether the stories are factual and have nothing to do with any criminal connection to Bill Clinton.

eRumor  James McDougal – Clinton’s convicted Whitewater partner died of an apparent heart attack, while in solitary confinement. He was a key witness in Ken Starr’s investigation.

The Truth:
James McDougal died on Sunday, March 8, 1998 in John Petersmith Hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas.  He had been serving a federal prison sentence for fraud in connection with the Whitewater land deal.  At first, he claimed to be innocent, but after being convicted of 18 felony counts, he cooperated with Special Prosecutor Kenneth Starr’s investigation of the Clintons.  He was scheduled to give damaging testimony against the Clintons, although critics of the investigation say his testimony had previously been inconsistent and that nothing new was expected to be revealed.  A prison spokesman said McDougal died of a heart attack and had been suffering from heart disease and blocked arteries.

eRumor  Mary Mahoney – A former White House intern was murdered July 1997 at a Starbucks Coffee Shop in Georgetown. The murder happened just after she was to go public with her story of sexual harassment in the White House.

The Truth:
Mary Caitrin Mahoney was murdered over the July 4th weekend in 1997 at the Georgetown Starbucks near Washington D.C.  She was the assistant manager and, according to published reports, she and two other employees were working late at night after the coffee bar had closed.  All three were found shot to death.  No money was taken and there was no sign of forced entry.
In 1999, Carl Derick Cooper was charged with the murders, six armed robberies, and other shootings.   Mahoney had interned for the White House official responsible for contact with the Asian-American community.
TruthOrFiction.com has not found any documentation that she was about to “go public with her story of sexual harassment in the White House” or that her death was anything beyond that of a murder associated with the robbery.  A report in The Washington Weekly explains that journalist Mike Isikoff had written that “a former White House staffer” with the initial “M” in her name was going to go public with a sexual harassment story and people speculated he meant Mary Mahoney and that was why she was killed.
Later, it turned out that he was referring to Monica Lewinsky.

eRumor  Vince Foster – Former white House councilor, and colleague of Hillary Clinton at Little Rock’s Rose Law firm. Died of a gunshot wound to the head, ruled a suicide.

The Truth:
Vince Foster was Deputy White House Counsel and the Clinton’s lawyer.
He was found dead in Fort Marcy Park on July 20, 1993. Three investigations into Foster’s death, including one by Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr, have concluded that the death was a suicide.  Critics of the investigations say Foster’s death does not fit the facts of a suicide and that there are a lot of unanswered questions about his death, some of the activities at the White House after his body was found, and the investigations themselves.  Although there are numerous theories about what may have happened to Foster and why, none of them has been proven.

eRumor  Ron Brown – Secretary of Commerce and former DNC Chairman. Reported to have died by impact in a plane crash. A pathologist close to the investigation reported that there was a hole in the top of Brown’s skull resembling a gunshot wound. At the time of his death Brown was being investigated, and spoke publicly of his willingness to cut a deal with prosecutors.

The Truth:
Brown and 34 others died on April 3, 1996 when the Air Force jet carrying crashed into a mountainside in Croatia.
The Air Force, in a 22-volume report issued in June of 1996, confirmed its initial judgment that the crash resulted from pilot errors and faulty navigation equipment.
Subsequent controversy erupted, however, over autopsy photos.  There is a hole in Ron Brown’s skull which investigators say is consistent with a puncture that could have been caused by debris during the crash.
Investigative reporter Christopher Ruddy came forward with an article in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review in which he quoted Air Force pathologist, Lt. Col. Steve Cogswell as saying that the hole was perfectly round shape of a 45 caliber bullet.  Cogswell had not actually examined the body.  Later, another pathologist, Army Lt. Col. David Hause, said he had been working nearby the Ron Brown autopsy, overheard discussion about the round hole, walked over and looked at it and said it seemed like a bullet hole to him.
Air Force Col. William Gormley, the pathologist who actually did the Ron Brown autopsy, said, however, that it is more of an indentation than a hole and that if there had been a bullet, there would have been either an exit wound or a bullet found in the body, and there were not.
The Justice Department had opened an investigation into Brown’s financial dealings.

eRumor  C. Victor Raiser II – & – Montgomery Raiser, Major players in the Clinton fund raising organization died in a private plane crash in July1992.

The Truth:
On July 30, 1992, Victor and Montgomery Raiser were killed in a plane crash while on a fishing trip in Alaska.  He was a Washington lawyer and described as a “major player” in the Clinton organization.  Investigation of the crash by the National Transportation Safety Board concluded that it was the result of pilot error.  Some “body count” lists have removed the Raiser’s names because there is not any evidence that their death was the result of foul play.

eRumor  Paul Tulley – Democratic National Committee Political Director found dead in a hotel room in Little Rock, September 1992. Described by Clinton as a “Dear friend and trusted advisor”.

The Truth:
His name was spelled “Tully” and he was a top strategist for the Democrats and working with the Clinton campaign.  He died of massive heart failure in a Little Rock motel room.  There has been no controversy over his death that we could find.

eRumor   Ed Willey – Clinton fund raiser, found dead November 1993 deep in the woods in VA of a gunshot wound to the head. Ruled a suicide. Ed Willey died on the same day his wife Kathleen Willey claimed Bill Clinton groped her in the oval office in the White House.
Ed Willey was involved in several Clinton fund raising events.

The Truth:
According to published reports, Ed Willey was an attorney who owed the IRS $400,000 and had embezzled nearly $270,000 from one of his clients.  The Willey’s financial woes were a source of stress between Ed Willey and Kathleen Willey and she finally demanded a plan that would bring it to an end.  There was a stormy family meeting about it on the night of November 28, 1993 and Ed Willey moved out of the house.  The next day is when Kathleen Willey went to the White House to see Bill Clinton about a job.  She says the president assaulted her during that visit.  It was later discovered that Ed Willey had driven into the woods on the same day.  His body was found by hunters on November 30, 1993.  Authorities ruled his death a suicide by shotgun.  There was a suicide note apologizing for the financial problems.

eRumor  Jerry Parks – Head of Clinton’s gubernatorial security team in Little Rock.  Gunned down in his car at a deserted intersection outside Little Rock.  Park’s son said his father was building a dossier on Clinton. He allegedly threatened to reveal this information. After he died the files were mysteriously removed from his house.

The Truth:
Jerry Luther Parks was the head of security for the Clinton-Gore Little Rock headquarters in 1992.
On September 26, 1996, he was murdered down while driving through a Little Rock intersection.  A lone gunman fired seven shots at him.  This was two months after Vince Foster’s death.  Both Parks’ wife and son have said that they believe Parks was murdered and that he feared for his life.  His murder has never been solved.
According to Gary Parks, Jerry Parks’ son, the files were on the sexual escapades of Bill Clinton.  They were not removed from Parks’ house after his death.  According to investigative reporter Christopher Ruddy, the files that Parks had been keeping on Clinton were taken during a burglary several weeks before Parks’ death.
Clyde Steelman, the homicide sergeant investigating the murders for the Little Rock Police told New York Times Magazine writer Philip Weiss that he didn’t believe the theories of Parks’ son and wife and that he’d found no evidence of the alleged files.

eRumor  James Bunch – Died from a gunshot suicide. It was reported that he had a “Black Book” of people which contained names of influential people who visited prostitutes in Texas and Arkansas.

The Truth:
We have yet to find the details on this person.

eRumor   James Wilson – Was found dead in May 1993 from an apparent hanging suicide.  He was reported to have ties to Whitewater.

The Truth:
He was known as John Wilson, a popular leader and political figure in the Washington D.C. area and Chairman of the District of Columbia Council.  He was found dead on May 19,1993.  Authorities ruled Wilson’s death a suicide by hanging.  According to numerous articles in the Washington Post, Wilson had long suffered from depression and had twice before attempted suicide.  TruthOrFiction.com has found no evidence that he had any information about the Clintons or any ties to Whitewater.

eRumor  Kathy Ferguson, ex-wife of Arkansas Trooper Danny Ferguson, was found dead in May 1994, in her living room with a gunshot to her head. It was ruled a suicide even though there were several packed suitcases, as if she were going somewhere. Danny Ferguson was a co-defendant along with Bill Clinton in the Paula Jones lawsuit. Kathy Ferguson was a possible corroborating witness for Paula Jones.

The Truth:
Kathy Ferguson was found dead on May 11, 1994, five days after Paula Jones filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against President Bill Clinton.
She died of a gunshot wound to the head and a suicide note was found.  Her ex-husband was Arkansas Trooper Danny Ferguson, one of those named in the so-called “Troopergate” cases involving those who had been a part of then Governor Clinton’s security detail.
He was named in Paula Jones’ suit.  According to an Associated Press article on May 14, 1993, she was found not in her living room, however, but in the apartment of her boyfriend, Sherwood police officer Bill Shelton.  The suicide note said, “I can’t stay here any longer. Things will never be the same for us. I can’t take that.”

eRumor  Bill Shelton – Arkansas State Trooper and fiancee of Kathy Ferguson.
Critical of the suicide ruling of his fiancee, he was found dead in June, 1994 of a gunshot wound also ruled a suicide at the grave site of his fiancee.

The Truth:
Thirty-one year old Bill Shelton was police officer in Sherwood, Arkansas, and engaged to Kathy Ferguson.  It was in his apartment that she was found dead.  He was one of many of her friends who felt that Ferguson did not commit suicide and that the coroner’s report was not accurate about her wound being self-inflicted.  He was found a month later sprawled over her grave with a gunshot wound to his head that was similar to what the coroner had described as Ferguson’s wound.

eRumor  Gandy Baugh – Attorney for Clinton’s friend Dan Lassater, died by jumping out a window of a tall building January, 1994. His client was a convicted drug distributor.

The Truth:
Gandy Baugh jumped out of a window of a multi-story building and died on January 8, 1994.  Published reports say he was defending a man named Dan Lassater in a financial misconduct case.  Lassater was an associate of Bill Clinton’s who was convicted of cocaine distribution.

eRumor  Florence Martin – Accountant & sub-contractor for the CIA, was related to the Barry Seal Mena Airport drug smuggling case. He died of three gunshot wounds.

The Truth:
This is an interesting one.  Many of the “Body Count” lists say Florence Martin was killed in Mabelle, Texas in 1994.  That Florence Martin, however, was a 69 year old employee of a nearby convenience store and a spokesperson for the Baylor County, Texas District Attorney’s office says she had nothing to do with Bobby Seal, Mena, Arkansas, or the CIA.  We’re still working on it.

eRumor  Suzanne Coleman – Reportedly had an affair with Clinton when he was Arkansas Attorney General. Died of a gunshot wound to the back of the head, ruled a suicide. Was pregnant at the time of her death.

The Truth:
Still working on this one.

eRumor  Paula Grober – Clinton’s speech interpreter for the deaf from 1978 until her death December 9, 1992. She died in a one car accident.

The Truth:
No evidence that there was anything criminal about her death.

eRumor  Danny Casolaro – Investigative reporter. Investigating Mena Airport and Arkansas Development Finance Authority. He slit his wrists, apparently, in the middle of his investigation.

The Truth:
Forty-four year old Danny Casolaro was found dead in the Sheraton hotel in Martinsburg, West Virginia on August 10, 1991.  His wrists had been slashed.  According to an October 14, 1991 People Magazine story on his death, he had warned friends and family that his life was in danger.
He said it was because of what he called “the story of the century” but it was not about Bill Clinton.  It was about the Regan-Bush administration and an alleged effort to delay the freeing of the hostages being held at the time by Iran in order to do damage to President Jimmy Carter’s reelection bid.
Casolaro was told that as a part of the effort, drugs and weapons were being flown into and out of the airport at Mena, Arkansas.  Bill Clinton was governor at the time and there have been numerous questions about whether Clinton was in any way involved in any of the activities connected with Mena or protected those who were involved.

eRumor  Paul Wilcher – Attorney investigating corruption at Mena Airport with Casolaro and the 1980 “October Surprise” was found dead on a toilet June 22, 1993 in his Washington DC apartment. Had delivered a report to Janet Reno 3 weeks before his death.

The Truth:
In his report to Attorney General Reno, Wilcher said that he was in grave danger and that if the information he had for the Attorney General fell into the wrong hands, there could be people “silenced in the very near future.”

eRumor  Jon Parnell Walker – Whitewater investigator for Resolution TrustCorp. Jumped to his death from his Arlington, Virginia apartment balcony August15, 1993. He was investigating the Morgan Guarantee scandal.

The Truth:
undetermined

eRumor  Barbara Wise – Commerce Department staffer. Worked closely with Ron Brown and John Huang. Cause of death unknown. Died November 29, 1996. Her bruised, nude body was found locked in her office at the Department of Commerce.

The Truth:
According to a report on WRC-TV in the Washington area, Wise’s body was found in a locked office and was partly nude and bruised.  The crime has never been solved.  There has not been any evidence that her death was related to any of the Ron Brown or John Huang events.

eRumor   Charles Meissner – Assistant Secretary of Commerce who gave John Huang special security clearance, died shortly thereafter in a small plane crash.

The Truth:
Charles Meissner was not killed in a small plane crash but was among those killed along with Commerce Secretary Ron Brown in the crash of an Air Force plane in Croatia in 1996.

eRumor  Dr. Stanley Heard – Chairman of the National Chiropractic Health Care Advisory Committee died with his attorney Steve Dickson in a small plane crash. Dr. Heard, in addition to serving on Clinton’s advisory council personally treated Clinton’s mother, stepfather and brother.

The Truth:
According to the National Transportation and Safety Board, the crash was due to
“AN INADEQUATE ANNUAL INSPECTION OF THE AIRPLANE AND NON-COMPLIANCE WITH AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES BY COMPANY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL.”
The NTSB says the airplane caught fire in the air and crashed while the pilot attempted to make an emergency landing.  There is no evidence that we can find that links the crash or Dr. Stanley heard to any criminal.

eRumor  Barry Seal – Drug running pilot out of Mena Arkansas, death was no accident Johnny Lawhorn Jr. – Mechanic, found a check made out to Bill Clinton in the trunk of a car left at his repair shop. He was found dead after his car had hit a utility pole.

The Truth:
Several books could be written about Barry Seal.  He was a danger-loving pilot who was regarded as the best known cocaine smuggler of the 1980’s.  He did not die in a car accident.  He was murdered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1986 by three men with machine guns and who were later arrested and convicted.
They were Colombians and authorities say they were connected with the Medellin drug cartel.  The Attorney General of Louisiana told U.S. Attorney General Ed Meese in 1986 that Seal smuggled $3 to $5 billion worth of drugs into the U.S.
In 1981, Seal began running his smuggling operation out of a highly guarded and, for a while, secret airport in Mena, Arkansas.  That airport and Seal’s activities were to become a part of the investigation into the Iran-Contra controversy from the Reagan administration.   There have been questions of whether Bill Clinton, who was governor of Arkansas at the time, may have looked the other way if he knew about the drug smuggling operation, but there has not been proof of that.

eRumor  Stanley Huggins – Investigated Madison Guarantee. His death was a purported suicide and his report was never released. Hershell Friday – Attorney and Clinton fund raiser died March 1, 1994 when his plane exploded.

The Truth:
Saying that his plane exploded is misleading. According to the NTSB, it crashed, but without any explosion prior to the crash or causing the crash.

eRumor  Kevin Ives & Don Henry – Known as “The boys on the track” case. Reports say the boys may have stumbled upon the Mena Arkansas airport drug operation. A controversial case, the initial report of death said, due to falling asleep on railroad tracks. Later reports claim the 2 boys had been slain before being placed on the tracks. Many linked to the case died before their testimony could come before a Grand Jury.

The Truth:
This is one of the stories out of Arkansas that has a lot of people asking very tough questions.  It is a story that is often told, however, as though it has something to do with Bill Clinton, but no Clinton connection has been established, especially with the boy’s deaths.
The most notable aspect of the event was that the authorities originally treated the boy’s death as an accident, but it was later clear that they had been killed and their bodies placed on the tracks.  Some have said the boys innocently found the secret Mena drug trafficking activities and were killed to keep them silenced.  Others have said that the boys discovered a local cocaine dealing operation and were killed by drug dealers.

The Truth:
