Plead The Blood

THE BLOOD OF JESUS
THE BLOOD OF JESUS
Plead The Blood

After having turned my life to Christ on the 1ST June 1995 I started attending Bible based Christian Churches and Fellowships where ever I went. God was blessing me greatly every time I went to these kinds of fellowships and always was enriched and encouraged in my walk with Christ.

One of the themes that I often heard preaching about was the precious blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus, the lamb that was slain from the foundations of the world. I believe that as Christians if we don’t seriously consider the power there is in the Blood of Jesus, we are short-living our exciting experience that we can enjoy with Jesus.

Unfortunately many precious people are being robbed because they rarely are being thought about the blood of Jesus and the power and great riches there are in being thought this awesome truth.

It is inevitable that you read about the blood of Jesus in the Bible as since this theme runs clearly from Genesis through Revelations. The Bible is a “blood” book! It is in that blood that God almighty reveals His unfathomable mercies of redemption of Mankind!

In the marriage between a man and a woman, at the first time they make love, there is shedding of blood of what it is known as the breaking of the hymen. It is not just simple shedding of blood. The depths of it’s meaning goes farther! In true love there is also pain and shedding of blood.

God reveals through this awesome plan of redemption through His Son Jesus the depths by which He has loved mankind passionately! This is how He reveals today how He loves you and Me.

He is saying to us all, “Here is how much I love you; I am willing to shed My blood for you”. Every love story has a hero and tears are shed! In this one He goes a little farther; The Hero, Jesus has shed tears of blood, so that the Bride-the Church He has put His eyes upon, may know Him intimately and passionately and that He truly loves Her!

In pleading the blood one can also say it in different terms like, ‘applying the blood’, or ‘sprinkling the blood’ by faith!
Pleading the Blood of Jesus is a legal term. You are not trying to convince God of any thing or ‘twisting his arm’ so that He will do something for you! It is not begging! It is standing firm against the enemy the devil against his attack against you and claiming back what rightly belongs to you because of what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross of Calvary.

REVELATION 12:10-11 NKJ
10 . . . the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day
and night, has been cast down.
11 "And they overcame him (the devil-the one who always accuses) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their
Testimony and they did not love their lives to the death.
The devil is our accuser. The only successful plea is the Blood of Jesus.
Pleading our innocence, our merits, or our good works, will fail. Only relying on the shed Blood of our substitute sacrifice, the Lamb of God, will win our case before God the Judge.
However when the enemy comes, he can and will be overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. We have victory over every evil because of Jesus' shed Blood.
Our lives must also be fully committed to God: we must trust Him. We must have faith in what God has done -- and what He is doing.

Passover
God gave instructions to the Israelites so they could escape the judgment that was to befall the Egyptians.

EXODUS 12:7, 13 NKJ
7 `And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and
on the lintel of the houses where they eat it.
13 `Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And
when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on
you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.
The Egyptians had no protection from the destroyer, but the people of Israel who put the blood of a lamb on their dwellings were safe.

EXODUS 12:21-23 NKJ
21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, "Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb.
22 "And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.
23 "For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you.

The blood represented the Blood of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (Rev. 13:8). Judgment was legally avoided because of it. The blood applied stopped the destroyer. Action was required -- not just belief in the blood.

PSALM 105:37 NKJ
37 He also brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among His tribes.

Christ Our Passover
Christ was our Passover. Can we not expect Him to provide us as much protection and deliverance as the lamb did for the children of Israel in Egypt?
Yes we definitely can!

1 CORINTHIANS 5:7 NKJ
7 . . . For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. HEBREWS 8:6 NKJ
6 . . . He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.

LUKE 22:20 NKJ
20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you”. New Covenant believers have the right to draw a faith Blood line the devil cannot cross. By speaking words of faith we apply the Blood over the doorposts of our lives - the outer edges of all that belongs to us. Wherever we have jurisdiction authority we should apply the Blood - and never leave the protection the Blood provides.

Rahab
Rahab was not a descendant of Israel. She was a harlot from the city of Jericho, which God commanded Israel to utterly destroy. But because of her faith, all that was hers was spared. She also became an ancestor of Jesus of Nazareth, being the great-great-grandmother of King David (Matthew 1:5-6).

HEBREWS 11:31 NKJ
31 By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish . . .

JOSHUA 2:12-13 NKJ
12 "Now therefore, I beg you, swear to me by the Lord, since I have shown you kindness, that you also will show kindness to my father's house, and give me a true token, and spare (1)my father, my mother, my brothers, my sisters, and all that (2) they have, and (3)deliver our lives from death."

Rahab asked for all her family, and all their possessions. This action evidently pleased God because Hebrews 11 commends her faith, and tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6,31).
Note that Rahab asked for a token, a sign. They told her to place a blood-colored cord in her window -- representing her faith in God's provision of blood under the Old Covenant.

JOSHUA 2:18, 21 NKJ
18 ". . . bind this line of scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down, and unless you bring your father, your mother, your brothers, and all your father's household to your own home.
21 Then she said, "According to your words, so be it." And she sent them away, and they departed. And she bound the scarlet cord in the window.

JOSHUA 6:23, 25 NKJ
23 And the young men who had been spies went in and brought out Rahab, her father, her mother, her brothers, and all that she had. So they brought out all her relatives and left them outside the camp of Israel. 25 And Joshua spared Rahab the harlot, her father's household, and all that she had. . . .
We should stand in faith just as Rahab did and ask for the lives of all our family members, and for all our possessions. If a harlot's faith (who had no covenant with God) received God's protection for her family and possessions, surely as believers in the New Covenant established by Jesus' Blood, our faith can do at least as much.

Redeemed By His Blood
1 PETER 1:18-19 NKJ
18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold . . .
19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

COLOSSIANS 1:13-14 NKJ
13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins

Say so…Declare it by faith with your mouth. Mix your faith in what God said and you will enjoy what God promised!

PSALM 107:2 NKJ
“Let the redeemed of the Lord say so”,.. Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy, we must say that we are redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb. Following are some statements which others have successfully used. In the Name of Jesus:

 I plead the Blood of Jesus for my healing.

 I apply the Blood of Jesus to this sickness.

 I sprinkle the Blood of Jesus on me.

 I resist you devil with the Blood of the Lamb.

 I draw a Blood line around this place that the devil cannot cross.

 I draw a Blood line of protection around my property and possessions.

 I plead the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ against this problem.

 I cover my home with the Blood of Jesus to protect all occupants and possessions from all evil.

 I apply the Blood of Jesus to this problem (mention the problem) and destroy its power to remain in my life. There is power in Jesus' Blood to set everything right, satan. Jesus' Blood works now to remove every evil work.

 I hold the Blood of Jesus against you satan, and declare by God's Word that it overcomes you, and that you must flee. I will continue to say believing while I praise the Lord that every trace of this trouble is gone.

 I know that the power of the evil one cannot and will not penetrate against the blood of the Lamb of God, Jesus.

 I do not leave any door open in my life of unrepented sin or unforgiveness. I willingly choose to forgive from my heart all those who have wronged me and hurt me. I also choose to bless all those that have come against me in Jesus name!

Be Vigilant!
1 PETER 5:8-9 NKJ
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. But you resist him, steadfast in the faith . . .”

We must watch for the attacks of the enemy - but the good news is that they can be overcome every time. Faith in Jesus' Blood, released in testimony against the devil, will always cause him to flee. We must resist him, steadfast in faith, for as long as it takes.

In times of war and violence we need to cry out for the protection of the Blood for our entire household. Parents can put the Blood on their "door" - taking in all that pertains to them - and claim salvation and protection for their entire family. The Blood is the one thing that will keep your family safe in these perilous days.

When we awaken in the morning we should call-summon for the Blood to be upon us and all that belongs to us. Before we sleep we should, in the same way, call for the protection of the Blood.

Cleanses From Sin
HEBREWS 9:22 NKJ
22 . . . without shedding of blood there is no remission. Sin opens the door for the devil. Jesus' Blood cleanses us from all sin and closes the door of opportunity to the devil.

1 JOHN 1:9 NKJ
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse (by His blood) us from all unrighteousness. Jesus' Blood enables us to stand before God as if sin had never existed. We have no other plea for entrance into God's presence but the precious Blood of the Lamb.

HEBREWS 10:19 NKJ
19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood (confidence) of Jesus,
Life In The Blood

LEVITICUS 17:11 NKJ
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood . . .
Blood delivers everything necessary for the life of the members of a human body and carries away waste material. Jesus' Blood also brings life and nourishment to the members of His body, and rids us of everything that is of the curse.

HEBREWS 9:14 NKJ
14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God; purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
If the blood of Christ, which is Eternal, has been offered through the Eternal Holy Spirit than we can be assured that we have Eternal forgiveness! God who is outside of time has seen our future even before we have lived one day and therefore has made abundant provision for forgiveness through the Blood of Jesus His Son! All it remains now is that you daily apply it by faith!

Faith In The Blood
ROMANS 3:25 NKJ
25 whom God set forth to be a propitiation by His blood, through faith . . .

HEBREWS 11:28 NKJ
8 By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them. We should display the token of Jesus' Blood over the boundaries of our lives
- anywhere the devil might have an opening -- by releasing our faith in the sufficiency of that precious Blood through words of Faith!
Give bold testimony to the power of the precious Blood of Jesus!

The Blood Speaks
HEBREWS 12:24 NKJ
24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

1 JOHN 5:8 NKJ
8 And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one. The Blood testifies that Jesus set us free from the entire curse and made us
able to partake of the inheritance of the saints. The Blood testifies that Jesus bought our redemption from the devil and set us free. God worked when the blood of Abel cried unto Him -- how much more mightily He will work when it is the blood of His own Son that cries. By speaking words of faith, we agree with what the Blood says concerning our total and absolute redemption and freedom from the curse.

Sprinkle The Blood
1 PETER 1:2 NKJ
2 “. . . in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.” By faith we can sprinkle the blood of Jesus on people who have come to us for help. The Blood is a token of Christ's total redemption, signaling the
devil that he must flee. By faith in that precious Blood all can be healed. Blood in the human body brings healing to sickly tissue. So the Blood of Jesus brings healing to His body as well.
Sprinkle the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ anywhere there is evidence of satanic effort to stop the complete will of God in your life. With blood on the door of the Israelites in Egypt no evil dared enter their dwelling. Likewise, we are kept safe through the protection of the divine
Blood of Jesus
Victory Is Ours

Wherever you have authority, any stronghold of the devil can be destroyed by holding the Blood of Jesus upon it. REVELATION 12:11 NKJ
11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony (testifying), and they did not love their lives to the death.” Jesus' Blood overcomes the devil and all he has done. Believe it in your heart and say it with your mouth - until you see complete victory.

2 CORINTHIANS 10:4 NKJ
4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, Let us use all our weapons: the Name of Jesus, the Word of God, and the Blood of the Lamb.
We should sing about the Blood, talk about the Blood, and rejoice in the precious Blood of the Lamb... the little bitty devil can't stand it!

By faith I apply the blood of Jesus Christ over you reader so that you will be always protected and blessed under the covering of the Lord from every form of evil and wicked plan.
The devil cannot stand the blood of Jesus and he knows that he has no chance what so ever.
Enforce it against him and his plans so that the plans of God for your life will not be hindered.
