" Live the Truth .. or Take the Consequences "
" You shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free." (John 8:32)
What is meant by " the Truth " - and just how does one really " know the Truth? "
In what way does it make us free?
These are the questions most often upon most sincere people's minds, who are eager to understand and apply Spiritual Laws as a workable philosophy of life, but who are often-times are puzzled over this particular statement.
What is mean by " the Truth "?
Eons ago this question was answered simply and directly by the greatest Teacher {Jesus Christ} who ever lived upon the world when he said:
" I Am the way, the Truth, and the Life. " (John 14:6 )
The ultimate standard of the Truth is defined as:
" Christ Consciousness ", or the belief in the great " I AM " within every individual.
It is our inner Self {or soul} - which is always spiritually minded, and seeks to guide the outer
Self {or our personal body}. When a person's Outer-Self disregards that inner self's guidance; their life becomes chaotic and the person becomes imprisoned by their own false fears and unbeliefs...
** As we are all " Spirit, Soul and Body! "
" To be Spiritually minded is life and peace, "
(Romans 8:6)
Which means that we should Know the Truth about persons, things, and situations, regardless of existing appearances. This is what is called Spiritual knowledge and is always available to each of us - under proper conditions in this earthly life!
This is where the study of the Holy Scriptures in the Bible will help direct your understanding and bring clarity to your mind!
Thus we are to " hold fast to that which is good."
( 1 Thess. 5:21)
We are to keep out thoughts centered upon that which is most God like!
No matter how difficult or impossible it may seem at any particular moment!
The Truth is also defined as being the exact opposite of any wrong or evil, or any unpleasant experience, or any unhappy situation. Illness, in harmony, fear, or any type of negative experience indicates that we are temporarily out of contact with the Truth of our Being.
Any negative condition is a fact, but it is not the truth, because Truth is always related to
"whatever things are: True ... Honest... Just... Pure... Lovely, or of Good Report." ( Phil 4:8-9)
(Read when possible}
We are definitely instructed to " think on these things. "
Fortunately, we can change these negative facts or happenings into the real Trust, by changing the direction of our thinking. We center our attention upon exact opposite of whatever negation thing that has occupied our attention, in order to redirect our thinking.
Within each of us, there is an intuitive perception which distinguishes between what is Truth and Falsehood. {Called a conscience!}
Judging from just appearances we could insist that the sky and earth meet on the far horizon; or that watching the Sun as it sets into the ocean off a coastline, or that parallel rails meet in the distance, or that the shadows of swaying tall trees are not real - these all illusions which are not the real truth!
We know that none of these things are true - Because in coming to know the Truth - we must look beyond the appearance and base out assertions upon the spiritual qualities which may not be evident to us at that exact moment! Which often causes people to think that an illusion or marriage is true! The appearance of anything refers to only the outer aspect of a thing or entity.
This is because the outer aspect is the only part seen or perceived visible at that moment in time.
This is where we are instructed to search the Holy Scriptures of the Bible:
" Judge not according to the appearance... "
It takes careful and determined thoughts to actually disseminate between the truth and falsehoods, as presented to our senses as to that which is actually true!
Actually, each of us does this in our life in general and each of us decides these questions daily!
To know the Truth about the conditions and situations of life, in general, is part of our Spiritual Unfoldment as we attain greater Understanding, it should consistently as possible improve everything in our personal world - even including even our facial expressions! Haven't you known a person whose very countenance seemed radiant as with Light and whose presence gave you a spiritual lift or a positive conscience ness?
What you were experienced was the Inter Light of that person, and you were up lifted by the Truth, as it was manifested through a human channel. Because the Truth has and will always exist - but we have not always understood how to apply it in solving the problems in our life. Therefore we have not always been free; we have been imprisoned by our own lack of Spiritual Understanding!
Therefore we must come to
" Know The Truth and Live The Truth "
