Here is the whole purpose of the Gospel of Christ!

 Taking into account the Sacrificial death of Christ - one must eventually come to the point where they know that it was not just about forgiving us of sins!

Christ brought the total salvation {unification between God and mankind} which requires those who accept His free will gift; will become sin free which is Almighty God's perfect state of being.

Yet the whole reason for salvation is not just the removal of sins - mainly it is to bring mortal humans into a perfect relationship with God our Eternal Father!  

{Unfortunately through Freedom of Choice which all humans have - many will not understand  this even when standing before the Bar of Christ in the last day!}

Therefore salvation was about being able to join with God through a personal relationship with Him - through His only begotten son Jesus or Yeshuia hamsha...

So get over the squeamishness of the descriptive words, used in the Bible!
The words are there to help put you upon the correct pathway to God's purpose for your existence.  Read learn, love, and use it, because they point toward life Eternal! 

 How much better is there than is?
