Intimancy with God the Father is what Salvation is all about

John 17:3
"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God,
and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."

In order to fully understand what eternal life is, it is helpful to understand what it is not.
Eternal life is not living forever. Everyone lives forever in either heaven or hell.
Also, eternal life is not living forever in the blessings of heaven as opposed to being
tormented in hell.

John 3:36  "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."and John 5:24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.
Both go to show that eternal life is a present tense possession of the believer.
Here, Jesus defines eternal life as knowing God the Father and Jesus Christ.
As we have already discussed, the word "know" is speaking of intimacy instead of mere intellectual knowledge. Therefore, eternal life is having an intimate, personal relationship with God the Father and Jesus the Son.

According to John 3:16, this intimacy with God is what salvation is all about.
Forgiveness of our sins is not the point of salvation: intimacy with the Father is.

Of course, Jesus did die to purchase forgiveness for our sins because unforgiven sins block us from intimacy with God. Sin was an obstacle that stood between us and God. It had to be dealt with and it was. Anyone who views salvation as only forgiveness of their sins and stops there, is missing out on eternal life.

Salvation is intended to be the way to come back into harmony with God.

Instead, it is often presented as the way to escape the problems of this life and the judgment of hell later. Most non-believers are so occupied with their "hell on earth" that they don't really think or care about their eternal future. They are fed up with religion and are looking for something that will fill the emptiness inside.

Only intimate relationship (eternal life) with our Father can do that.

Some do not care if they steal

Walmart contracted with a private company which operated as a "pseudo-justice system" for shoplifters.

Erika
"The shoplifter was caught red-handed at the California Walmart and taken to a back room by a store employee. Until recently, the next step might have been a call to the police, but, instead, the shoplifter was offered another option.

"He was shown a short video about how terrible a criminal record would be. He was told that if he confessed to his crime and agreed to participate in a privately run diversion program -- six hours of online behavior therapy---he could avoid arrest, a fine or worse. The cost was $400.
The shoplifter would be billed. He signed up.

"Later, it turned out, he didn’t have the money, not even the $50 minimum installment required to keep his case out of court. And while eventually he did end up in court, it was not as a defendant but as evidence in a 2015 suit brought by the San Francisco City Attorney, who asserted that the tactics used by the company, Corrective Education Company, were illegal. In fact, the City Attorney, Dennis Herrera, equated CEC’s business model with 'a Hobson’s choice, which is really no choice at all.'
“'This company has set up a private, pseudo-justice system that is based on profit,' he said, calling the program 'textbook extortion.'"

A company’s program, used by Walmart and others, bypasses the cops.

** Iloitse Herrassa aina.

** Iloitse Herrassa aina.

The Universe at the speed of light!

 SPEED OF LIGHT!
  http://www.jesusisprecious.org/
Young Earth Creationist leaders have a problem trying
to explain away the speed of light and how it interferes
with their theory that the universe is only 6000 years
old. Both real science and the Bible gives us
overwhelming evidence that the universe is billions of
years old. But again, Ken Ham, Jason Lisle, and the rest
of the Young Earth teachers carefully avoid the
scriptures that conflict with their theory and have
invented a bogus science, called Operational Science,
to try to explain away this very damaging evidence.

The scientific fact is this.
Light travels at 186,282 miles per second, or
about 671million miles per hour.
One light year, which is actually a measurement of distance
and not time, is the distance light can travel in one year,
and is about 6 trillion miles.

The first time we read in the Bible of stars being seen by
humans is in Genesis15:5, when God speaks to Abram.
The verse reads, “And he brought him forth abroad, and said,
Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to
number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
” Obviously, there was the light from a countless number of stars
reaching the earth when Abram looked up into the sky.
I’m sure Abram was seeing the light from the Andromeda galaxy
at that time.

The Andromeda galaxy is approximately 2.54 million light years
from earth. That means the light we are seeing today from
Andromeda left that galaxy 2,540,000 years ago.
The problem for Young Earth Creationists is this.
If the entire universe was created 6000 years ago,
then light began traveling from Andromeda at that
time and headed towards earth.
It has travelled for 6000 years. The leading edge of
that light should still be 2,534,000 years away from earth.
We should not be seeing that light yet.
We should not be able to see Andromeda for another
 2.534 million years.

Most Young Earth leaders will concede that the universe is more than 6000 light
years across. Even Jason Lisle has to admit that the universe is billions of light
years across, because good science has unequivocally proven that fact.
These simple facts would dictate that if we are seeing light from stars billions of
light years away, then it is safe to assume that the universe has been in existence
for billions of years to allow that light to reach our earth. That’s the logical conclusion. But then again, we’ve determined that most of what Answer In Genesis teaches is not logical.
So they must explain this problem to their followers. And
they try several methods. This first method is to suggest that light traveled faster in the past than it does now.

In one of Jason Lisle’s lectures, he states that everyone
assumes that light has always traveled at the same speed,
but “perhaps it hasn’t.” Jason Lisle offers no evidence or
Biblical references to back up his claim. This statement is
pure speculation. And speculation has no place in
establishing any doctrine.!
Jason Lisle contradicts himself in another lecture on
another subject concerning God’s character. He claims that
God’s laws of nature are constant and can be depended on
to be the same today as they always have been.

Jason Lisle is correct in this lecture. The laws of nature do not change over time.
Other Answers In Genesis staff, like Dr. Werner Gitt, teach that the laws of nature
have been consistent since the creation of the universe.!
So why does Jason Lisle’s statement in his lecture on the speed of light contradict his other teachings on the laws of nature? Even Lisle teaches that two contradictory
statements pose a problem for the presenter. In another lecture, he states that two contradictory statements cannot be correct.

So logically, Jason Lisle cannot state on one hand that the laws of nature, including the speed of light, has been consistent over time, and then on the other hand state
that the speed of light may have changed over time. This is another example of how Young Earth Creationists modify their teachings in order for their presentation to fit their young earth theory. And they just can’t explain how light from stars
billions of light years away is reaching earth today.

I’ve repeated over and over again in this series that if you can show me evidence in the Bible that confirms your claim, you will convert me. There is nothing in the scriptures that even vaguely suggests that God designed light to travel at different
rates of speed at different times. But there are scriptures that overwhelmingly prove that God created light traveling at 186,000 miles per second, and that speed has been constant since it was created. The teachers at Answers In Genesis will
never read these scriptures to their audiences. Never.

We read some compelling evidence in Jeremiah 31:35, that reads, “Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof
roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me,
saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

The original Hebrew word for ordinances in “the ordinances of the moon and stars” is khook-kaw', which means to be appointed. The second word ordinances in
Hebrew is “khoke,” which is a decree, or a fixed law or statute. It also means an unwaiverable standard.

Jeremiah 33:25 states, “Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth; Then will I cast away the seed
of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of
his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

The word appointed is “soom,” which means to set or ordain, or to constitute or establish. This verse again states that God ordained and established an unwaiverable standard, the laws of nature that were set in motion when the universe was created.

Psalm 74:16 “The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.
” The word prepared is “koon,” and it means “to be fixed, to be stable and unchangeable, or to be established. The word light is “maw-ore’,” which means all transmitted light and brightness. This verse unequivocally states that the natural laws governing the speed of light is the same today as it was at the beginning.

There are more scriptures that talk about God’s strict laws of nature, but here wehave presented three verses that tell us that God created light at its current speed,
and that speed has been consistent since the creations. The Young Earth teachers are unable to find one verse that states otherwise, in fact they don’t even try. Jason Lisle is wrong.

Since we have determined that the speed of light has always been the same, and the universe was created all at the same time, then the distance of each star from the earth should determine what period of time we are observing on each star. For instance.

The earth and two galaxies were created at the same time. Galaxy number one is
one million light-years away. Galaxy number two is ten million light years away. In
exactly one million years, we would start seeing the light from Galaxy number one.
It would take another nine million years to see the light from galaxy number two.
By then, we have already been watching galaxy number one age for nine million
years. Although both stars were created at the same time, here on earth we are
seeing a brand new galaxy and a galaxy nine million years old.

Scientists using good science have determined how galaxies age by comparing those close to earth with those billions of light years away. And they have determined something very interesting as explained by Dr. Hugh Ross, a Christian
astrophysicist. Dr. Ross indicates that galaxies that are closer to us are “spread out,” and are starting to separate from he core. The edges are becoming “frayed,”
and consists of what he calls “spurs and feathers.” The edges of the galaxy appear to look like a frayed piece of cloth, tattered at the edges.

There is evidence in the Bible that the light we are seeing from stars extreme distances away is much younger than light we are seeing from stars that are close, exactly as Hue Ross explained. And it was likely that the Apostle Paul did not fully
understand the real meaning of the inspired words that he wrote about our universe.

Paul wrote in Hebrews 1:10 “And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but you Lord remain; and they shall all wax old as doth a garment.” The word
heavens is “oo-ran-os’ “which means “the vaulted expanse of the sky with all things visible in it. The term wax old is “pal-ah-yo’-o,” which means to become old and worn out. What happens when a cloth garment becomes old and worn?
It becomes frayed. The edges become tattered and worn, exactly like the old galaxies described by Hue Ross.

This proves one thing. We are seeing the light from galaxies different distances from earth at the speed that light was created when it left those galaxies. To demonstrate how ridiculous Jason Lisle’s claim is, we would have to show that
God created different speeds in the light from different stars in order for all of them to be seen on earth at the same time.
The light from a galaxy 10 million light years
away would have to travel 10 times the speed
of light from a galaxy 1 million light years
away in order for the light from each galaxy to
reach earth for Adam to see on day four. The
dwarf galaxy Sagittarius is only 60,000 light
years away, so that light only had to be
accelerated over the 60,000 light year distance,
much slower than galaxies billions of light
years away. So light headed towards earth from billions of stars and galaxies at different distances would mean that God would have to change billions of light speeds in order for all of the stars to be seen by Adam on day four. Find that in the
scriptures somewhere.

Young Earth Creationists realize that their multiple light speed theory will be challenged by real scientists, and they do try to use other theories on their followers. They even attempt the time zone theory, which is about as credible as
their multiple light speed theory. Jason Lisle compares the time zones on earth with time traveling through space. He gives an example of an airplane leaving the eastcoast at 9 AM Boston time and landing in Denver at 9 AM Denver time. Lisle attempts to compare that example with light leaving Andromeda 6000 years ago and reaching earth at the same “local time.”

Anyone who believes this moronic theory has a less than simple mind. The reason we have time zones on earth is because the earth revolves against the sun, and the
sun determines our time of day. When you look at the universe in its entirety, you will realize that there is no “local time” as Jason Lisle suggests.
You could call this time zone “universal time.” When God created the universe, every planet and star and galaxy were created at the same time. From that point on, day one on earth is day one on Andromeda. And realistically, year 2,534,000 on Andromeda would be year 2,534,000 on earth. And that is the year the light from Andromeda finally reached earth. To compare time zones on earth with light years in space is
absolutely foolish.

Psalm 19:1 reads “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament show his handywork.”  The word heavens is “shaw-mah’-yim" which means the visible heavens, or the visible universe. It also means abode of the stars. The word
sheweth is “naw-gad" which means to inform of, to declare or made known. The word handywork is “mah-as-eh’” which simply means the work of God. The creator of the heavens has made it possible for us to learn with good science many
of the secrets of the universe.
He has given us information in his word describing
his creation.

 http://www.jesusisprecious.org/

The Young Earth Creationist’s refusal to acknowledge any reliable scientific evidence that proves our universe is billions of years old has limited their knowledge to a few misinterpreted Bible passages which they proclaim to their
followers proves our earth is only only about 6000 years old. Whether their teachings are out of ignorance or motivated by an attempt to keep their movement alive, they continue to deceive their following by modifying God’s word, promoting a bogus science, and convincing their followers that they are right and everyone else is wrong. And their followers sit in the audience and nod their heads in agreement!

Rejoice in the Lord always

**  Rejoice in the Lord always.

John 16:33 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me - you might have peace.
In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

The world experiences joy and happiness in direct proportion to their circumstances.
Bad circumstances produce depression and sorrow, while good circumstances produce joy and peace. That's bondage, and does not have to be the case for a Christian. Our joy is not dependent on things, but rather on the person of Jesus Christ. He is our peace and joy.

The way we take advantage of this joy and peace in the midst of tribulation, is to have our minds and hearts stayed on things above and not on things of this earth. The invisible things of God are eternal while the visible problems on earth are only temporary. All the problems of this life grow very dim when we compare them to the glory of God that is ours through Jesus.

We can rejoice in the Lord always (Phil. 4:4) because rejoicing is an action, not a reaction to our environment. Joy is a gift from God that was given to us at salvation. It was placed within our born-again spirit and it doesn't fluctuate or diminish; it is constant. The Lord has put the joy inside us and we are to "work it out" by choosing to obey this command in scripture.

We are commanded to rejoice "IN THE LORD." Many people are not experiencing true joy because their joy is in their circumstances. That is, they are waiting to rejoice when things in their lives are going good, and that doesn't happen very often. We are suppose to "rejoice in the Lord always."

That means we are supposed to rejoice in who the Lord is and what He has done for us. He never changes (Heb. 13:8) and His mercies and compassions are new every morning (Lam. 3:22-23).

Voici une situation et un exemple de Jean 8:12 à 59 - Étudiez pour voir comment vous tenir à l'écart des faussetés du monde! {La partie clé suit = Jean 8: 31-32}

Half facts or Absolute Truth?

*** Do you seek the Absolute Truth? ***

What is the Absolute Truth?

" You can be eating the healthiest foods on the planet, but if you can’t absorb them, there’s little or no benefit! "

So absolutely true!
Here is an absolute Truth! Many things in life are limited imitations, or non existent as to the real Truth - yet the source of the Absolute Truth is always God!

Yet billions of people are totally ignorant of it's existence and meaning!
So why is there so much disease and pain ??
Lies and Falsehoods...
Seek the Absolute Truth - not just some sly saying or popular response.

God deals in the Absolute Truth {as He is the source of all Truth!} therefore you should always seek the absolute Truth and let popular try to catch up!

Why play with half facts, deception or lies when the Absolute Truth is available?

Here is a situation and example from John 8:12 to 59 -

Study to see how to keep yourself from the falsehoods of the world! {Key part follows = John 8:31-32}

John 8:31-32 (NIV)
Dispute Over Whose Children Jesus’ Opponents Are...
31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.

32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Do you seek the Absolute Truth?

If not Why Not?

The answer is right before you!

Who are you? - 1

First  - Who are you and where are you going?

Since many people can not answer this question without some help; we will seek to enlighten you!
When you seek then come to know the truth; a whole new positive world opens up to you!
This is where you should be in order to move ahead on your own,  free to choose! The following system will help direct you toword your goal of finding the knowledge you need and want!

Broadly speaking, if the following seven rules are followed the student will find himself so full of the truth of God's Word that he will never be wanting for a theme.

1. Study the Text in the Light of its Setting. Sometimes the division between two chapters will mar the beauty of association. We have such an instance in John's Gospel. Chapter three begins, "There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus." The particle "now" which is supplied in the Revised Version leads the reader to see what has gone before. In the latter part of the second chapter we are told Christ did not commit Himself to certain disciples who professed to believe on Him, but He did commit Himself to Nicodemus, hence, in the conversation with him, as Sir Stevenson Blackwood once pointed out, Christ practically revealed to him every truth of the Gospel.
One other instance of the importance of context is the first word of John 3:16. Illuminated texts generally begin with "God so loved the world," etc., leaving out the conjunction "for." Reading the "For," we find that Christ showed the necessity of His death, in that the Son of Man "must be lifted up," before He revealed the cause of that death, is the love of God, who gave His only begotten Son. The setting of a Scripture is as important as the diamond in a ring. When the diamond is lacking the diamond ring is wanting. The ring is essential to the diamond's setting, and the diamond is necessary to give the ring importance and value.

2. Study Words and Phrases. A phrase of frequent occurrence in the Epistles is "In Christ." It will be found in at least three associations. It is an Inclusive term, for we are blessed by God the Father with all spiritual blessings "in Christ" (Eph. 1:3). "In Christ" is an Exclusive term. When Paul would designate himself, he speaks of himself as "a man in Christ" (2 Cor. 12:2). Being "in Christ" believers are no longer in sin, in the world, in condemnation, and in the flesh. Then "In Christ" is a Conclusive word, hence Peter speaks of "your good manner of life in Christ" (1 Peter 3:16). At once we see the importance of the association of a phrase.
The importance of distinguishing words is necessary. There are two words rendered "Son" in the New Testament, namely "Teknon," and "Whyos," "Teknon denotes one who is born, from "Tikto" to bear. Like the Scots, "Bairn" from "Beran" to bear, a child, a descendant. "Teknon" is never used of Christ for He was not a descendant of God nor of man, hence, this word is never used of Him as The Son of God nor as the Son of Man. Yet the word to bear is used of His birth, because as man He was actually born—Luke 2:7. How accurate was the prophecy about Him, "Unto us a child is born, a Son is given" (Isa. 9:6). As the Son He was not born, but given. As the child He was bora and given. "Teknon" is applied to believers, because we have a spiritual origin—John 1:12, 13, R.V., hence heirship is based on sonship—Rom. 8:16, 17.
"Whyos" is used in an adoptive sense, and is always applied to Christ as The Son of God and The Son of Man. It is written of Him, "Jesus Christ the Son of David, the Son of Abraham" (Matt. 1:1), and "Jesus Christ the Son of God" (Mark 1:1). It is written, "She brought forth her Firstborn Son" (Matt. 1:25) on the human side, but on the Divine side, "God gave His only Begotten Son." The "Son" Mary brought forth was actually born, but He was not a descendant of man. He was "the Only Begotten Son in an official sense for us, and is for us "called the Son of God" (Luke 1:35). Therefore as to humanity He was not the Son of man, but the Son of God; and as to His Deity, He was not a descendant of God, but God the Son. "Adoption of sons" (Whyothesia) is applied because of our identification with the Son of God, and the glory we are to have with Him. While we are not waiting for our relationship as children of God, we are waiting for our place as adopted sons—Rom. 8:15, 23; Eph. 1:15; Gal. 4:5.

3. Find Out About Eastern Customs. When a corn chandler in this country measures corn, he puts the corn as lightly as possible in the measure, and then uses a "strike" to level the corn with the rim; but in the East it is the man who buys the corn who measures it. It is to this Christ refers when He says, "Give and it shall be given you, good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over" (Luke 6:38). Geikie describes the process:
"When grain is bought after harvest, for winter use, it is delivered in sacks, and the quantity in these is always tested by a professional measurer. Sitting on the ground, this functionary shovels the wheat or barley into the measure, which is called a tinmeh, using his hands to do so. When it is quite full, he shakes the tinmeh smartly, that the grain may settle; then fills it to the brim again, and twists it half round with a swift jerk as it lies on the ground, repeating both processes till it is once more filled to the top. This done, he presses the contents with his hands to fill up any vacant space, till at last, when it will hold no more, he raises a cone on the top, stopping when it begins to run over at the sides, and this only is thought to be good measure."
What an illuminating explanation is given in the Eastern custom above, illustrating as it does the abundant giving of God in return for our giving to Him. Many more illustrations might be given evidencing the importance of knowing the customs of the East.

4. Be Sure of Facts. Many a skit has been made about Jonah being swallowed by a whale! We are sometimes told "a whale has not a gullet big enough to swallow a man." That may be true of a Greenland whale, but not so with the Mediterranean whale.

Frank Bullen, in his book on "The Cruise of 'The Cachalot,'" refers to the blunder which a popular M. P. made some time ago, when he referred to a whale in the following words: "Science will not hear of a whale with a gullet capable of admitting anything larger than a man's fist." Bullen relates the fact that a sperm whale, on one occasion in its death agony, vomited a piece of cuttle fish as big as their hatch house. He says: "For the first time it was possible to understand, that, contrary to the usual notion of a whale being unable to swallow a herring, here was a kind of whale that could swallow—well, a block four or five feet square." On another occasion Bullen relates: "The ejected masses of food were of enormous size, one piece of cuttle fish being eight feet by six feet."
Another mistake about Jonah is made, namely, that he was alive in the sea-monster. His body was in the fish, but he cried "from the belly of Hell" (Jonah 2:2), which proves he was in the place of disembodied spirits, for "Hell" is the Hebrew "Sheol," which corresponds to the "Hades" of the New Testament. To be a perfect type of Christ, Jonah must have died and been raised from the dead—Matt. 12:40, for this was the "sign" or miracle to the people of Nineveh—Matt. 12:39, 41.
5. Scripture will Explain Scripture. As the light in the lampstand gave "light over against it" (Exod. 25:37), so Scripture illuminates and explains Scripture. In Genesis 37:25-29; 39:1, there seems to be two parties to whom Joseph was "sold"—"Ishmaelites" and "Midianites." Higher Criticism immediately comes to the conclusion there are two narratives which contradict each other. "According to J," he was sold (so we are told) to the "Ishmaelites," and "according to E.," "The Midianites sold Joseph into Egypt to Potiphar." Then the critics further say, "If (mark the "if") the text were a unity the Midianites would have been the Ishmaelites." That is just what they were. How do we know? In Judges 8:24, we are told that the Midianites whom Gideon defeated were Ishmaelites. All Midianites were not Ishmaelites, but all Ishmaelites were Midianites; just as all Englishmen are Britishers, but all Britishers are not Englishmen, as our Scots friends are quick to remind the English when an Englishman talks about England and he means Great Britain.
Another case where Scripture explains Scripture is in the use of the word "these" in John 21:15. Some have thought that "these" refers to the fish, but the remote context shows Christ refers to Peter's fellow-disciples. In Matthew 26:33, Peter says, "Though all" ("men" is in italics; see Mark 14:29), that is "all" the rest of the disciples, "shall be offended because of Thee, yet will not I." So Christ seems to say, "Lovest Thou Me more than these? You professed to do so, Peter, but you were no better than the rest, although you professed more. My Word was true, all of you were offended and proved unfaithful."
This goes to prove the desirability of comparing Scripture with Scripture, and of patient reading and study.

6. Benefit of a Correct Translation. Even one who does not know Hebrew and Greek, with a good concordance and lexicons can get a correct text. Take a simple illustration. There is the primary particle ei., which Strong in his concordance called "a particle of conditionality," but of which Bullinger in his lexicon says, "But if in the indicative mood, assumes the hypothesis as an actual fact." Take a few passages where the particle is rendered "if," and instead of "if," read "since."
Luke 4:3: "If Thou art the Son of God."—"Since Thou art the Son of God."
Romans 8:31: "If God be for us."—"Since God is for us." 1 Thessalonians 4:14: "If we believe."—"Since we believe." Colossians 3:1: "If ye then be risen with Christ."—"Since ye then are risen with Christ."
1 John 4:11: "If God so loved us."—"Since God so loved us." See the importance of reading "Since" instead of "If" in the case of the temptation of Christ.
Godet says: "If Thou art, expresses something very different from a doubt, this 'if has almost the force of 'since'." This must be, as the context proves. Satan had just heard Christ was the Son of God, and immediately he says, "Since Thou art the Son of God, command these stones be made bread."

7. Essentials to Remember. In the Revelation which God has given of Himself in Christ and in the Book, we have all the essentials for salvation and godliness, but we need eyes to see. The Spirit's inward illumination is essential to understand the Divine Revelation. There are seven things to remember.

(1) The Bible is a Spiritual Book. Christ declares, "The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life" (John 6:63); and further, we are reminded the Word of God is living—Heb. 4:12. The Words of Christ and the Word not only contain life, or a medium of life, but they are life, even as a tree alive is a living tree.

(2) A Spiritual Mind is essential to understand the spiritual Book. We are told, "The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned" (1 Cor. 2:14). An artist who invited a friend to come and see a picture, first shut his friend up in a dark room and left him there. The friend wondered why he was so treated, and afterwards, in answer to the question, said, "I knew if you came into the studio with the glare of the sun in your eyes, you could not appreciate the fine colouring of the picture, so I left you in the dark room till the glare had worn out of your eyes." When earth lights are glaring in our eyes we cannot see the deep and hidden meaning of the things of God.

(3) The Spiritual Teacher is requisite for the spiritually minded to understand the Spiritual Book. "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God" (1 Cor. 2:9, 10). A minute form of life, called a Rotifer, in a drop of water cannot be seen by the naked eye, but by means of a powerful microscope it can not only be seen, it is revealed in all the inness of its being, and its heart is manifest in its beating. Through the light of the Spirit's microscopic power we can know the minute working of His grace and the spirituality of His teaching.

(4) The Spiritual Saint. Constant reference is directed to spirituality as a quality of being to be effective in Christian life, service, and inward condition. The one who is "spiritual" is the one who is qualified to "restore" an erring brother—Gal. 6:1, and no other. The one block in the Spirit's work in the Church at Corinth was because the many were "carnal" instead of being spiritual. When the spiritual food—1 Peter 2:2, R.V., is nourishing the inner life, then the unspiritual things of the old man will be thrown off, even as the rising sap in the tree will throw off any of the old leaves which may be clinging to it. A spiritual saint is one who is dominated by the Holy Spirit. Dominated in the Spirit of his self-consciousness in fellowship with the Lord; concentrating the soul of his life-consciousness by being attracted to the Lord; and swayed in the body of his sense-consciousness; and by recognising the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

(5) Spiritual Blessings, or the blessings of the Spirit, are "all" found "in Christ" (Eph. 1:3). Who can estimate these in their worth, or comprehend them in their totality? Among those blessings of the Spirit, if the books of the Bible are pondered in relation to the Holy Spirit, it will be found He is unveiled in a specific way, giving qualification to meet a special emergency. Thus in Genesis He is seen as the Spirit of Power, in Exodus as the Spirit of Wisdom, and in Judges as the Spirit of Victory. Everything is wanting if He is not acting, but all is met when He is in absolute possession. All blessing is found in Christ alone, but the Spirit Himself must make them known.

(6) Spiritual Things1 Cor. 2:13. At first glance there may seem to be no difference between "spiritual blessings" and "spiritual things,' but the setting of the latter illuminates its importance. We are exhorted to compare "spiritual things with spiritual," or, as Darby translates, "Communicating spiritual things by spiritual means;" or, as Godet, "Appropriating spiritual things to spiritual men;" by those "spiritual things" are what "the Spirit teacheth," therefore the obvious sense, the Spirit is the One who communicates those things. He gives the spiritual things, and He alone can communicate to those who are spiritually minded. What those "spiritual things" arc, or some of them, is brought out in chapters 1 and 2, where we have enumerated the things of God and of Christ, such as "the will of God," "the Church of God," "the Grace of God," "the Testimony of Christ," "the Coming of our Lord," "the Day of our Lord Jesus Christ," "Fellowship in His Son," "the Name of our Lord," "the Cross of Christ," "the Power of God," "the Wisdom of God," "the Foolishness of God," "the Weakness of God," "the testimony of God," "Deep Things of God," "the mind of Christ."

(7) "Spiritual Sacrifices" (1 Peter 2:5). These we are to offer up to God, which by means of Christ will ascend to Him, like the burnt offering, as a sweet-smelling savour. The odour of love's affection, the fragrance of faith's reliance, the perfume of life's consecration, the incense of prayers' intercession, the savour of praise's worship, the frankincense of fidelity's faithfulness, and the myrrh of help's ministry, are ever the delight of the Lord's appreciation.
After all, the written needs to be incarnated in the experience of a devoted life. Bengel's two rules must ever apply: "Apply thyself wholly to the Word, and apply the Word wholly to thyself."

A.I. has a very limited application!

" Is there Genuine Intelligence - artificial intelligence (A.I.) " ?

Back in 1950 Alan Turing developed a process to test the artificial intelligence of machines...
It was called the " imitation game " which is now it is know as the Turing Test!
Therefore we now that we have - computer programs which can masquerade as if it was a human. The Turing test is a contest which attempts to fool or trick the human interrogator into believing it is human.
Using poetry, answering difficult scientific problems, yet deliberately making so called mistakes with certain math problems  -  Which  is supposedly making it a standard to measure how well a machine always responds.
Some Scientist are wanting to make this the standard; by showing how far artificial intelligence (A.I.) has come - but it should not be for the wrong reason - because it should not to be able to just fool people, even if it is just for the short term.
If this is an example of how A.I. - it may seem temporarily great - but will only be fleeting and not seem to provide proof positive of getting any closer to a so called " Genuine Intelligence " or a perfected A.I.
Having worked over 40 years with computers (both Digital and Analog), computer controls, computer operations, computer power requirements in the Military, Manufacturing, Scientific, Financial, Medical, Machine Operations {Automotive, Air Craft and Marine applications} and/or just personal endeavors of life.
In all applications, I would say if there is not some humans observations, super- vision involved; the computer system sooner or later will freeze, fail, dump or lose either control or the ability to complete the designed function(s)....
A.I. has proven great and reliable in certain select applications becoming acceptable for some special limited processes or procedures.
A.I. is never going to be able to replace human knowledge of people who are trained in special technical applications - but not of any total control in the world!
I Believe allowing total control without any human in put or supervision will sooner or later fail, destroy, mime or even kill.
No matter whatever you are attempting to do!

Keep human involvement or supervision in all your computer
{Micro Processor} operations.   If you do not believe this reply or let me know as I have seen or know of many such miss-operations and applications.

Have experienced many such computer controlled incidents.
Here is an example of one that is in big favor with the public now.   Computer controlled Automobiles - in on the road operation, there are certain things the on board computer will not recognize.
One is to observe and follow the directions of Police and emergency personal on the road.  Because there are too many different scenarios where it is important for the vehicle computer alone to note and respond to external conditions!
Thus it is totally necessary for a human to be in the loop.
**{Someone will come back, with how about where there is remote control?
Gee folks then there is a human is directing the operation and control!
 Hey there is human supervision - Got it?}
Let's get it right humans are far more intelligence than machines!
Even the most sophisticated computers will still need Human design,
assembly and /or repairs and adjustments...
