Fatherhood Revealed
We are all mad at the devil. Many of us blame him for bringing hardships or temptations into our lives. But did you know that one of the subtlest, but deadliest, weapons against us is the deceit he brings in attempt to block us from seeing the truth of God's love for us as our Heavenly Father?
One battle Satan commonly fights to achieve this deception is to attack the family nucleus. As a result, we now live in times where a father figure in the home is not commonly seen. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, between 1991 and 2009, children living with only their mother increased from 21 percent to 24 percent! This fatherless generation has allowed their natural circumstances to affect their relationships with their Heavenly Father, but this HAS to stop!
The only way to gain the identity as sons and daughters of God is through the revelation of God as our Father and His infinite love towards us. It is still a simple fact that religion has made it hard for many believers to accept--without it, we will never have the relationship with God that He has called us to have, and consequently, reap its benefits. After all, without a claim to our sonship, it is impossible for us as children to receive the inheritance of our Heavenly Father.
4 spiritual truths about God's Fatherhood:
1. God the Father does NOT condemn.
2. God's love for you isn't based on your performance.
3. God's love isn't dependent on our love for others.
4. The love of God the Father is unconditional.
It doesn't matter what type of relationship you have with your natural father, or if you didn't have one at all. God's desire is to heal your heart and demonstrate His love as THE Father who will never leave you nor forsake you. To allow Him to do this, you need a revelation of His supernatural love for you. Today, open your heart to receive this revelation until this truth becomes one with you, healing every broken piece within and opening your spiritual eyes to see the arms of the Father extended towards you. He is waiting for you . . . what are you waiting for?
