Looking both back and forward at the same time.

A piece written about my High School....
It is a review and a way to look forward at the same time!

 " Is to make this  (wherever you happen to be)  a better place,
 for my (your) having been there (here)!"  


 We hope you have left a good trail of involvement in your life... 
 It will only be your memories that go with you into Eternity!

Poem of life past... 


St Petersburg High School was just a tool,
to use in life; so as to be no fool...

We did not know how far we would go,
but the lessons we learned made us grow...

Through many tests, trials and tears,
we went on to pass through many fears...

Thru those years we spent and yearned,
growing much from what we had learned...

We all went off as if to fly,
and burn a hole up in the sky...

What did we do, except to show,
that through this life we all must go...

If in this world we made a dent,
it was because we were sent...

We went on to show that we do care,
and became good neighbors, who would share...

Oh! How did we get to be so smart,
except that we learned to follow our heart...

If by chance we pass these days,
with Solemn thoughts or fun and play...

Yet upon us all; we came to know,
that through this life we all must flow...

Our motto was plain for all to share,
To make it a better place for our having been there!!

So when in Eternal splendors spent,
looking back upon where we went...

Upon our pathway, many memories we made,
That upon these was our future laid...

So in the end, our pathway done,                                                             
We will look back at what we had won!

When we come to see our last setting sun,
We can think back on where it had all begun!
