The Essence of Man
Light is what we need today here in the 21st century.
“The
entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto
the simple.” [Psalms 119:130]
The BIBLE gives LIGHT!
Now the Bible I am referring to … is available to anyone …
everywhere … in America to read, to believe, to hearken and to
obey.
This BOOK I am talking about … is the Bible (or any of its editions).
Now, this BOOK is a perfect book: “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” [Psalm 12:6-7]
In this BIBLE is found a person … a being … called MAN.
MAN is a being … a human being!
Now mind you, this human being [as originally created in the image of God] is comprised of three parts: soul, body, and spirit - three in one: “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” [1 Thessalonians 5:23]
HUMAN BEING = [BODY + SOUL + SPIRIT]
People need to get
saved or a
reconciliation! This BOOK I am talking about … is the Bible (or any of its editions).

Now this three-part being came under subversive attack very
early in history, very soon after God’s creation week. Now, read
this with me in the book of beginnings: “Now the serpent was
more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had
made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall
not eat of every tree of the garden?” [Genesis 3:1]
When Adam
[man] believed and obeyed Satan, rather than God, he died.
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death
by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have
sinned:” [Romans 5:12]. Adam fell from his perfect state. He
became subject to death. Man fell! Man was now a fallen being.
Thus,
ever since, [for the last six thousand years of human history]
man has been under the dominion of the “power of darkness”
[Colossians 1:15].
What is more, the Devil and his cohorts
[which include all fallen men, the philosophers, the educators,
and the agents of change] have conspired to further debauch the
human being [as he is defined in the Bible].
The agenda for these agents of change is this: The human being must have every last vestige of his former IMAGE erased, nullified, and removed. The GOAL, therefore, is to REDEFINE the human being into the cast of a Darwinian image. This Darwinian image was to replace man’s original image with that of an image concocted from fallen man’s own “vain … imaginations” [Romans 1].

We need reconciliation as found in:
Romans 5:10 "For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life."
A temptation can be a difficult situation or
a pressure upon a person's life. Contrary to popular belief, God is not the source of our
temptation (Jas. 1:13).
When we are under pressure, it is important to realize that God is not trying to entrap us.
Satan is called the tempter (Mt. 4:3; 1 Th. 3:5). He is the source of all the evil in the world!
Then why did Jesus instruct us to pray that the Father would not lead us into temptation?
This was simply a request for guidance so that we could be delivered from evil.
Jesus himself was tempted by Satan (Mt. 4, Lk. 4).
He trusted God fully for provision, protection, and purpose. The Father would no more lead us into temptation than He would withhold our daily bread. But as stated in James 4:2, "Ye have not because ye ask not." Both "give us our daily bread" and "lead us not into temptation" are simply requests for what has already been provided for us. This part of prayer serves as a reminder to us of God's promised protection (Ps. 91) and gives us an opportunity to release our faith and appropriate that what has already been provided.
"No temptation has seized you but such as is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it" (1 Cor. 10:13 NIV).
The victory demonstrated by Jesus is available to us. "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Cor. 15:57).
He has given it to you. But you must have Faith and Believe to receive it.
