Question for all of my friends, but mostly this is for my fellow Christians.
If you lived in Nazi Germany in the 40's, would you have stood against the genocide of the Jewish people?
Would you have said or done anything to stop it?
If you had lived in the Ottoman empire between 1915 & 1923 when more than 1 million ethnic Armenians, Assyrians and Greeks were rounded up, deported and executed on orders of the government, would you have remained silent?
Would you have joined the fight to free these people marked for death?
Would you have demanded your government step in and try to stop the senseless atrocities? Would you have become an activist on behalf of those innocent, helpless people?
Would you have done anything at all, or would you have just shook your head in a collective show of anger & sadness but done nothing?
Right now Christians are being systematically hunted down, tortured, and killed in the Middle East. Hundreds of thousands of Christians have had to leave their homes to escape death by ISIS and other Islamic terror groups. I am unsure of how many have been killed, but what must be understood is that it continues even now. Everyday more Christians are rounded up and murdered. Adult men and women beheaded. Children shot, cut in half, beheaded. The evil of Isis has no bounds.
The question is, what are you doing about it?
Will you sit in your home and shake your head, or will you demand someone do something to help them?
Muslim refugee's are being brought into the US by the ten's of thousands, but I have not heard a single word about bringing in Christian refugee's.
Regardless of why, we all know it won't change, no matter who becomes POTUS. Not a single day will be spent by our government figuring out how to save those Christians. That is unless we demand it.
Please, contact your representatives, your Senators, your Congressmen and demand they do something. Don't stop demanding until they listen. I will not sit back and say nothing. I think about the Jews and the horrible things they went through and many times in my life I wondered, "but why didn't anyone say or do something?"
Most Germans said they didn't realize what was happening, but I don't believe that. Life was good for them, so why rock the boat?
SHAME!!!
I will not be one of them. And I hope you won't either.
