Where Can I Buy Some Seeds to Grow a Navel Orange Tree?
This is a question that has probably been asked a million times. Joe Urbach hears it all the time. And for this particular question, there’s only one right answer. I’ll give you a hint… if someone tries to sell you some seeds to grow a navel orange tree, you should hold on to your money!

Free Soup for Fall and Winter

Do Ducks Like Duckweed?
In last week’s episode of Homesteading Basics, we took a long look at duckweed – the popular permaculture plant that can serve many different functions on the homestead. Even after doing some experiments to find the best growing conditions for duckweed, Marjory still had one burning question that hadn’t been answered yet… Do ducks actually like duckweed?
This week, we’ve got the answer to that question. In the new Homesteading Basics video, Marjory puts duckweed to the test by unleashing her flock on a small pond that is covered in duckweed.
