HOW TO CUT FEDERAL SPENDING 75% W/O CUTTING ANY ESSENTIAL SERVICES
The Constitution was intended "to secure the Blessings of LIBERTY to ourselves and our posterity." What America has LOST and needs to FIND, once more, is a full appreciation of ALL that Liberty promises and implies.

principle of society," Thomas Jefferson declared, "is a guarantee of the
free exercise of industry and possession of the fruits acquired by it"
Where government allows free citizens to freely gain, KEEP, use, trade/dispose of their freely acquired possessions, there is Liberty.
So, if you are an American paying upwards of 50% of your income in combined federal/state/local taxes, you're already half-slave/half-free. Why stand for it?
With US nearly $20 trillion in debt, it's time to send an ARMY of Mr. Smiths to Washington to CUT programs and CLOSE agencies.
TO RESTORE PROSPERITY & RETRIEVE THE FOUNDERS' VISION OF LIBERTY:
Defund ObamaCare then begin dismantling the rest of the Corporate/Social Welfare State.
Let's start making government what our founders intended it to be: a PROTECTOR not a PROVIDER.
Government may tax us, but only as much as it costs to protect us.
Since Washington spends around $680 billion for National Defense and roughly $2.68 TRILLION on Income Security alone, as a PROTECTOR, government is only moonlighting SOCIAL Welfare harms MOST the able-bodied men and women it pretends to help. And CORPORATE Welfare helps the well-connected and corrupt, but harms US all.
And American politics is where Socialists and COUNTERFEIT Capitalists go to get special benefits at their neighbors' expense.
As Frederic Bastiat warned nearly two centuries ago:
"It's impossible to introduce into society a greater evil than this, the conversion of Law into an instrument of PLUNDER"
For, once a nation decides that some of its citizens have a RIGHT not to go out and get, but to lobby Congress & be given, it finds itself torn by two questions:
Who else should be given and how much should they all get?
There's only one answer: POLITICS.
But, when Congress confers special benefits on SOME, it denies "equal protection under law" to ALL. To take the money out of politics, we'll have to take the power to enrich the special interests away from the polls.
So, never mind fair or flat tax reform, balanced-budget amendments or term limit laws, There's no safe way to pay for a runaway Welfare State.
The ONLY thing standing between US and the founders' America is the American Welfare State.
