was written when I responded to a man's question, What is a true Christian??
Sir, You make some good points and there is too much of what you are trying to explain going on, I call it the politics of the church. The answer to everything that you propose can only be found by following God's Word and receiving The Holy Spirit! This instruction is found in 1st Corinthians Chapters 1&2, what I refer to as the instruction book of the Bible,
These scriptures explain that no one, no one will ever have a relationship with God, nor will they ever have an understanding of His Word, The King James Bible, without first receiving the indwelling Holy Spirit, no exceptions. Too many churches are being led by people who are not Spirit filled and according to God in 1st Corinthians 1&2, and to Jesus, John 3:3 and 3:5 KJB, they are of no use to their congregation because they have no understanding of The Bible, nor do they have a relationship with God, Interestingly enough, God gives the Spirit filled man the ability to judge the spirit of other men, (their walk) through the indwelling Holy Spirit, 1st Corinthians 2:12-16 KJB.
People are not willing to go the extra mile to accept God's will for them over their own will, they refuse the gift of The Spirit because they don't want anything controlling them or their lives, and there's always the fear of something they know nothing about. It's a dilemma within the church, to either sooth the fears of men or preach The Truth, and The Truth does not always align itself with doctrine. We must ask, what is Christianity in it's true form, it's faith based belief in God, Jesus, The Holy Ghost and The Word of God in Truth as it was written by The Holy Spirit, period!!!
With this question in mind, we must ask, why then are there so many denominations, so many religions claiming to be Christian, why? because each is based on someone's opinion of God and God's Word, ie, religion! each is based on another opinion and not The Word of God as it is revealed by The Holy Ghost. Fortunately, God has no use for our opinions, He is no respecter of men!
The concept of man believing in God, believing in Jesus, believing in The Holy Ghost and The Word God as it was written by holy men at the instruction of The Holy Ghost, II Peter 1:20-21, KJB and II Timothy 3:16-17 KJB is nothing more than a concept as long as the devil gets his way with religion. We as Christians need to speak up and demand that the church serve God and Jesus according to God's Word (instruction) and not according to the corporate church and it's politics! Keep up the fight for The Truth, it's must be shared!

John 8:31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
33 They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can you say, 'You will be made free'?" - NKJV

** - The Pharisees missed
the key point in their reply about never having been in bondage {
because they had been slave and under foreign control many times.} They
were under Roman domination at that time!
This is exactly where many in the world are today! With all the distractions ; like: Cell fons, Sports, Major Entertainment, many of the useless games, plus fads and fashions which are followed today keep people from the whole truth!!
