The Equailzer in the dark!

** From a post about an attempted robbery gone side ways!
This is a reply from a post on a failed Store Robbery in broad daylight - where the stupid dark cousin, walked in and attempted to bully the store clerk to give him the money; but both the store clerk and two woman customers just walked out locking the door behind them!! Then the store camera recorded the vain attempt by Bozo, to get out even using his pistol shooting the door lock.
 After about 10 minutes the Thief was at the door begging for someone outside to help him.  Then shortly the Police showed up and ended the failed escapade!

Here is my true story: from back a few years:


This was the a scenario I used - working in a 24 Hour market in FL while going to college; working the 23:00 to 07:00 shift on weekends... Where up about 02:30 there was a study business - from then until the early "going to work crowd" started coming about 06:00 the store was empty!

*** One night about 03:30 a single young Black man came in, walked to the back, got a Coke, then came up front to pay. What happened to Mr Sam
{a retired man who had worked the nite shift} and then ask if we still kept a pistol in the office?

I replied that
" I imagine so "- but I would not need to use it.

To which He then replied - " what are you going to be doing, if someone comes in to rob the store?

I replied - " Well they can have any and everything in the store, Beer, Wine, Steaks, the Cash, whatever. But " unless there are (4) with one coming in each of the doorways, I would go out in the Dark and wait with the Equalizer! "

What do you mean by that?
he ask..

I replied, The Equalizer is a 12 AWG automatic shotgun, loaded with double Aught (00) buck shot.
If they attempted to shoot at me standing out in the dark;
I would fire one blast through the main side door and clean all the bread/cakes off the rack there. If they continued to fire the next shot would get all the glass in the Beer - Wine cases in the back!

He paid up and left in a hurry

BTW; there were no robberies during my time at the store, because the Police said, they were told the word got around about a "Craze Man working at the Market with a shotgun!"

Sad but a couple of months after I left moving to a different city, a customer was shot in an attempted robbery!

The store was the "Village Market" located on 16th Street North - which is just over about a mile up from the predominately Black section of St Petersburg, FL. -
** BTW: This is not racist - just actual and factual!

So don't go - there; because the Truth will always win out!

Crime is wrong any way you cut it!! I do not believe in so called " Hate Crime "
because all crime is hate - definitely not done for love or kindness... Got it?

    If more places had proper trained armed personal, made it well know - there would be less robbery and violence in shopping areas!  

Another factual account: 

Reading a report on some former convicted criminals who were interviewed:
Then ask: " What would stop or prevent you from breaking into a house?" 

- 1) An alarm?
No, that could be disarmed.

- 2) A dog?
No, we could get distraction or else used doped meat to stop the dog!

- 3) Burglar Bars on the windows?
No, We can cut or tear fixtures off or down.

4) Then what would you really fear?
 An alert armed home owner.
