!.) Muhammad was indeed preceded by another Arabian prophet called Ar-Rahman (Musaylimah).

The cult of ar-Rahman or ar-Rahim has been well documented in the Yemen, over two hundred years before Muhammad was born. Moreover, it would be reasonable to assume this cult was long established, centered in al-Yamama, and extending well beyond.

Deducing from non-refutable evidence, it can be concluded that Muhammad used existing cultural and religious motifs.

All evidence indicates by frequent redundancy the conclusion that Muhammad did not originate the tenets of the religion of Islam. He simply merged the pre-existing Arabian pagan customs with numerous other long established faiths in the region into a new religious concoction. Inadvertently, such deception has been overlooked with blind rejection by Muslims today, in spite of well documented archaeological and historical facts. 2.) You can expect : threats, violence and a mysterious fire in the Bodleian just like all the other library fires, in India, Constantinople, Alexandria etc., etc. ad infin. That is the usual Islamic response to the disagreement of truth.

Unfortunately if you bother to check sources such as "forbidden Archaeology" there is an awful lot of conflicting truths swept under the "scientific and historical carpets so as to stop the rocking of the academic boats and this definitely applies to archaeology and obviously history as so much of what we are led to believe is absolute bull effluent (in other words like the dreadful crusaders who dared to actually hit back after 500 years of suffered aggression.

3.) Islam is a cult built around a man, one who may have been real, but could have been a composite or an apocryphal fable. Cults are not religion so Islam is not a religion.

There are supposedly 7 tests of what is a religion.

Islam fails at least three of them. Importantly, the koran states that the sun revolves about the earth. This nonsense if still being taught, too. If some divine agency provided information to Mohammed, it seems to me that this statement would not have been taught. That, all by itself, discredits the koran (and everything that goes with it) as a "holy" document. HUH!

Moreover, check out Atantic Monthly, January 1999. There is a splendid article on how an ancient koran was found in an old mosque. What is so important about this is that it was different from more modern versions proclaiming how the koran is the "immutable word of Allah."

HUH? More on the Politically incorrect system!
