yet seldom the correct or truthful one!

Back in May 1948 @ 18:00 hours Washington time; the State of Israel was declared a nation once more... But then @ 18:11 President Harry S. Truman signed a document recognizing Israel state's
" de facto authority " - crossing out the nation's title Palestine and writing in " Israel" in it's place and then scrawled the word " Approved " after ... Thus being the first to recognize Israel as a nation, Truman knew he would be forever damned by certain people who did not want the Jews to have their own state... or who did not want it in Palestine! But as Truman always said, the ultimate test of any presidential decision was :
" not whether it's popular at the time, but whether it's right.... If it's right, make it, and let the popular take care of itself..."
This was a world shaking decision and a very critical moment the world's history! It was how we should make important decisions in our life...
