Is there someone in your life who just rubs you the wrong way?
If
there is, it may surprise you to learn that it's not really that person
who is creating the rub. There is someone else at work-your real
Enemy-and he may be using that person to gain an inroad into your
life.
There is a spiritual war going on, and as a believer, you must be
aware of it.
Most Christians have adopted a humanistic view on how things go in life. What I mean by humanistic is that they only look at things on a surface level. They don't recognize the spiritual realm that is behind everything. Your thoughts become what you say and do, with your actions being the greatest expression of your authority. So, you'll be influenced, dominated, and ruled by whomever you yield yourself to-God or Satan. Ephesians 6:10-12 says,
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. [11]
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the
wiles of the devil. [12] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Are you believing to receive the manifestation of your healing? Do you need a breakthrough in your finances?
There are certain
spiritual laws that you must cooperate with, using your authority as a
human being. If you don't step out in faith to work with God in
these areas, these things won't come to pass. Sometimes it's just that
Christians don't know what they have authority over.
The Scriptures say in Matthew 10:8, "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give." If we don't do our part, it won't get done.
God isn't going to step in
and do what He's told us to do. No amount of begging or pleading
will change that. But most people don't let the Bible get in the way of
what they believe.
We in the body of Christ need to discover what God has given us, find out what's under our authority, and start using our authority the way God intended. Let's take our responsibility and lay aside our unbelief. Let's reject all these religious doctrines that say "Whatever will be, will be. It's just up to God who gets saved and healed. He does all things sovereignly" and absolve us of our responsibility. Let's stop backing out of our responsibility and placing the blame on God. He's not the one failing-it's us.
