Herbal Oil Pulling Recipe:
Ingredients:
- Coconut oil - pulls out toxins
- Powdered culinary cinnamon (Cassia or Ceylon) - kills bad bacteria that can cause bad breath and cavities
- A few drops of Peppermint Essential Oil - kills bacteria that cause gum disease
*All these items are easily found at any grocery store.
Instructions:
- Melt the coconut oil and mix all ingredients together.
- Swish 1 tsp in your mouth for 1 minute.
- Then build up to 2 minutes.
- Ramp up to 5 minutes if you can.
- 10 minutes is the optimal time, though it could take some jaw muscle strength!
- Spit the oil out into a trash bin (not into a sink). Don't swallow the oil - you don't want to ingest all the toxins you pulled out!
Wild, huh? Oil pulling can be a fantastic way to improve your oral health - give it a go!
Caution: Oil pulling is not recommended for those who've recently undergone oral surgery.
A Must-See New Series
My friend Dr. Pedram Shojai, creator of the bestselling Interconnected
documentary series, has done deep research with some of the brightest
minds in the field of dentistry to find out how oral health affects your
whole body. And what they found was shocking...
Did you know that:
- More than 70% of all chronic inflammatory diseases begin as tiny bacteria in your mouth getting flushed into your bloodstream
- "Harmless" bleeding gums can lead to 3 times higher risk of heart disease
- Type 2 diabetes, some forms of cancer, and arthritis can all be linked to poor oral health
According to a number of studies, all diseases may actually begin in your mouth. Yikes!
Fortunately,
Pedram has instilled the wisdom and insight of this comprehensive team
of dental experts into a phenomenal docuseries called Gateway to Health: Healing Secrets of the Oral Biome.
To

hygiene routine, check out this life-changing docuseries at the link
