The most read book in history by choice is the Bible. The Koran may express more copies - yet most are forced upon all those who fall under the oppressive Muslim religion!
The Lord God of the Bible has given each person freedom of decision - yet many in the world have sought to dominate and control people by force!
There is the best reason to read and try to understand the Bible!
Many get turned off by some of the translations - especially the 1620 King James Bible! Some of the common disagreements are:
1) The instructions for wives and women!
2) Many of the teachings on sexual conduct!
3) A lot of general ideas as to, what and when some of the chronology and how some of the technical terms are used to imply the truth of the Gospel!
