Scriptures: 1 Peter 5:5‐6 and Isaiah 66:2

 

I. God gives grace to the humble.

 

 Humility is the soil in which grace grows.

 

II. God resists the proud.

 

 Self is the soil in which pride grows.

 

III. Humility toward others is the proof of our humility  

toward God.

 

IV. Humility is proven through

obedience to the Word of God.
