Drawing Near to God James 4:7
7 Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded -
A double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways. Unstable: inconstant, restless.
Most people get stuck in their small personal ways... Which restricts their growth and development so that they never get to be the Person whom God wanted them to be...
How does this happen?
Several ways; most common is the restricted education or use of their God given Intelligence and purposes... They tend to get into certain small systems which limit their potential and development.
Such a shame, since humans were created to excel and become like unto God in their ways through learning to live in His Love and through His Grace.....
Being double minded means that you do not follow God and His principles unless they seem to suit you... Therefore you go about your life chasing after the various ways of the world...
Non of which will ever bring you any lasting peace or contentment...
So why spend your earthly existence in man made events which disappear when you die and pass from this world?
Just come to seek the Will of God in your life and then accept His Grace and Blessings...
