Statement From The Lavoy Finicum Family

Prophecy Update takes an interest in this story because it reveals how far down the road to tyranny this nation is, in what was once the land of the free. If the U.S. has fallen this far, then it is symbolic of how far the world has fallen. Lets remember, these people were protesting the federal and unconstitutional land grab in the west, and were only asking for a fair hearing and that news relating to this topic would be publicized. Ultimately they were defending the constitution. Let that sink in.
As someone else asked ( I wish I could remember where I read this quote) - if you were watching this scenario play out - and you saw a group of FBI agents gathered on one end of the property and Lavoy Finicum and the others gathered nearby - which group would you feel safer approaching? Perhaps that says it all.
Below we first hear from the Finicum family and then we see the video clip of Mr. Finicum's death while described in detail. It is haunting and very unsettling. One has to ask the question "Is this shooting and death the only way this situation could have been resolved?
You decide. Another question which must be asked, is - why were they stopped on the road anyway, particularly in a remote area? Mr Finicum had been coming and going from the disputed land for some time - an arrest could have easily been made over the past weeks and done so in a peaceful manner, but for some reason that wasn't done. Why not?
Perhaps the saddest and most disheartening aspect of this entire incident, excluding this tragic and unsettling death, is the comment section of many news articles which relate to this story - where some people seem gleeful at this death and seem to be enjoying the fact that an American citizen was gunned down in a violent manner. Perhaps that is just another sign of this age, but it seems to confirm the idea that things will continue to worsen as we approach the Tribulation. It also recalls these passages:
"At that time many people will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other...Because of the increase in wickedness, the love of most will grow cold..."
(Matthew 24:3,5)
"But mark  this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be...abusive...unholy...without love...unforgiving...brutal...not lovers of the good..."
(2 Timothy 3: 1-5)

2 Gates in Africa

The "Bill Gates of Africa".

Anesi (16 years old) and his brother Osine (14 years old), are two remarkable young boys from Nigeria.

When they were 9 and 7 years old, the two of them started their own business called "BluDoors"(http://www.bludoors.com/), they were inspired to use the name "Doors" from the name Bill Gates' used for his own product, "Windows".

The story of the Nigerian brothers is a classic story of how great entrepreneurs are launched. In the series of the "Fast Follower", I pointed out that when a service or product that you are using frustrates you, instead of railing insults at some poor shop assistant, or call center operator, just sit down and make something better.

This is what happened with these two boys:
Even at the tender ages of 9 and 7, they had already developed an interest in computers, and a few years later were learning CODING. I have already said that the next billionaires in Africa, will include those who learn computer Coding. In Hong Kong, Coding is now being taught to five year olds!
The two boys taught themselves Coding on platforms available on the Internet such as the Code Academy.

As they got better they recognised that there was a "need" to develop a "browser" which could be used with the type of cheap smart phones that people in Africa generally buy.... Cheap phones or imitations cannot process data as well as more expensive phones, causing the user many problems.

Imagine the audacity of these two youngsters; to sit down and re-imagine the Browser from the mighty Google, known as "Google Chrome".......But they did!

Today they have their own business promoting their own browser which they called, "Crocodile Browser Lite". It is available for free on Google Play Store: (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details…).

If you want to see Africa and the World's next "Bill Gates", they will look like these two young boys from Nigeria!

This is how Bill Gates and Paul Allen also started.

Let me also tell you a great secret:
These young boys will not need to go looking for money, money will come looking for them!

...."ProVISION always follows a great VISION"

ACV for thee?

Apple cider vinegar is said to have been used by Hippocrates for treating wounds and healing sore throats and coughing.1 Today, apple cider vinegar (ACV) is used to cook, clean, and most importantly… to improve our health!
The fermentation process is critical to producing the primary ingredient found in the vinegar: acetic acid. The 5-6 percent concentration of acetic acid contributes to the sour, pungent taste, and is also responsible for the numerous health benefits of apple cider vinegar.2
Apple Cider Vinegar Health Benefit #1: Stabilizes Blood Sugar

Researchers have found that cider vinegar stabilizes blood sugar and reduces the glycemic index of foods. The anti-glycemic properties of ACV is critical to regulating the sugar levels in type-2 diabetics and was found to significantly stabilize blood sugar in a 2003 study comparing a pickled cucumber with a fresh cucumber.1
In fact, it is possible that cider vinegar acts in much the same way as does the common diabetic drug metformin does without the unwanted side effects and increased risk for other diseases.3,6
The simple strategy of complementing a meal with apple cider vinegar can significantly improve blood glucose sensitivity. A study published by the Diabetes Journal in 2007 recorded a 4-6 percent reduction in fasting glucose levels following treatment of only 2 tablespoons of cider vinegar before a meal. Another study found that women who ate a morning meal containing vinegar exhibited a 55 percent decrease in blood glucose levels.4
Apple Cider Vinegar Health Benefit #2: Aids in Weight Loss
When consumed daily, apple cider vinegar may regulate satiety and appetite.6 Studies support the weight loss effects of ACV reporting decreases in visceral fat, BMI, and triglyceride levels to name only a few benefits.7 The physiological processes by which cider vinegar acts on the body also contributed to the anti-glycemic properties previously discussed.
ACV may interfere with enzymes responsible for carbohydrate synthesis and blood glucose concentration. Cider vinegar also improves the tolerance level of the liver against lipogenesis and fatty acid synthesis resulting in the improvement of cholesterol levels. The detoxification and improved health of the liver stimulates the excretion of fecal bile acid and further aids in weight loss.8
Apple Cider Vinegar Health Benefit #3: Promotes Alkalinity
Today’s Western diet contains foods ridden with pesticides, sugar, and salt that have been synthesized in a laboratory instead of naturally developed from land. Our bodies are susceptible to homeostatic imbalances resulting from lack of nutrition and metabolic acidosis.
The acetic acid in apple cider vinegar was identified as a key contributor to neutralizing hormones in the intestines and stomach therefore promoting alkalinity.6 Further research emerges supporting that an alkaline diet is critical to reducing your risk of sickness, lowered immunity, chronic illness, and morbidity.
Apple Cider Vinegar Health Benefit #4: Stimulates Immune Support
Apple cider vinegar assists in detoxifying the lymphatic system and regulating homeostatic functions of the human body.1 Researchers believe that antioxidants are found in cider vinegar which reduced the oxidative damage done to the body by free radicals and improves the health of our blood and organs.6
Cider vinegar was recently determined to be a strong antimicrobial agent and alternative to toxic and expensive chemical disinfectants. One of the most fatal bacterium, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, is resistant to disinfectants but is found to be killed by acetic acid.5 Especially in patients who are immunosuppressed, apple cider vinegar is an excellent natural antimicrobial tonic to rid of harmful bacteria and provide immune support.
    12 Unique
Ways to Use Apple Cider Vinegar
    1. On Food When You Eat: Both acetic acid and enzymes found in ACV break down vegetables, grains, and most especially meat. Otherwise a large quantity of hydrochloric acid is required to properly digest protein.
    2. In Recipes: The tangy sweet flavor is delicious when paired with many foods. Try adding in ACV to home-made guacamole, hummus, and quinoa dishes.
    3. Disinfect Wounds and Burns: Apply ACV to minor cuts, large wounds, and burns to speed up the healing process. The anti-microbial properties of ACV help reduce pain and risk of infection.
    4. Treat and Cure Acne: Wash your face with an ACV mixture 2-3 times daily. Combine 1 part ACV with 3 parts water.
    5. Remove Warts: Completely remove warts within 7-15 days. Saturate a cotton ball with ACV and place it on the wart holding it in place with a bandaid. Allowing the wart to soak in ACV, repeat this process every 24 hours until wart is gone. (It is normal for the wart to become inflamed and throb during the first couple days of treatment.)
    6. Treat Dandruff: Eliminate dandruff in one week by saturating your hair with a 50/50 mixture of ACV and water. Leave the mixture in for 15 minutes before washing. Repeat this routine each night for one week.
  1. Energize and Detoxify: Improve your energy levels and detoxify your body. Drink a mixture of 1 tbsp of ACV in 1 cup of water after waking up or in the mid-afternoon when your energy begins to slow down.
  2. Treat a Sore Throat: Take 1-2 tbsps of ACV and mix with 2 oz of water. Gargling with this mixture will naturally disinfect your mouth and throat while improving immune function.
  3. Stop Hiccups: Drink 1 tbsp of ACV. The concept of drinking pure ACV is that it will overstimulate nerve endings in the throat and prevent further spasms.
  4. Reduce Bruising: Soak a cloth with ACV and gently rub over bruises to reduce inflammation and speed up the healing process.
  5. Detox Bath: Adding 1 cup of ACV to your bath helps you cleanse toxins from your body. An ACV detox foot bath is also a great remedy if you are experiencing athlete’s foot or toenail fungus.
  6. Clean Your Home: Prepare a spray bottle with ACV and water in a 1 part ACV and 4 part water mixture for an all-purpose cleaner.

What is Islamic ideology?

From Elsa's Blog  30 January 2016

World Truth Summit - Updates

Good news. There's a new Fortress Europe coalition.
It's planning to hold mass demonstrations across Europe on February 6. And in the United Stated, a presidential candidate, Donald Trump, has declared that, if elected, he will stop all Islamic immigration until the jihad threat has been eliminated.

Will enough people wake up in time to save the West? My inner answer: yes. At what cost?

We will see. I remember a film that gripped me when I was a child:
High Noon {movie 1950's}. It feels like high noon, right now.

And now I want to pay attention to a way that most people are asleep.

It should be obvious: Christians are to Christianity, what Muslims are to Islam, what Nazis are to Nazism. But just try and see - maybe even on yourself - and you'll almost certainly experience very different responses to the 3 things. I can certainly feel this in myself. My intrained kneejerk response re Muslims and Islam:: of course one can't generalize about Muslims, Muslims are people, Islam is an ideology. My kneejerk response re Nazis is utterly different: within myself, I tar them all with the same brush - bad, evil, Jew-killers. As for Christians, it's also automatic: I don't feel any need to say, of course not all Christians are like this or that.

I did a mini-experiment with a few people when they spouted the usual line ("We must be careful not to negatively stereotype Muslims"). I agreed vehemently, that it's important to distinguish between Muslims (people) and Islam (ideology) - just as we need to make a distinction between Nazis (people) and Nazism (ideology). The people were stunned. Spluttering. Silence. What??

What's good for the goose is good for the gander, I have heard. Instead I could feel a powerful double standard, which these people - and most Western people, I suspect - hold, without awareness.

The biggest thing:
Muslims are radically disconnected from any of the ideology in the Quran that is disapproved of by the West (for instance, violent jihad, the inferiority of women, the inferiority of non-Islamics).
On the other hand, Nazis are 100% connected, not just to Jew hatred, but to the Final Solution (the plan to murder all Jews) - though The Final Solution is NOT in Hitler's Mein Kampf, in fact was not developed until 1942, the middle of World War II. Yet in World War II, there were no cell phones, no instant videos instantly uploaded, no selfies of SS guards herding Jews into the gas chambers. There was no Twitter, no Facebook, no internet. There was even no mention in the news - for the most part, outside as well as within Germany - of the concentration camps.
- Not a single train track leading to the concentration camps was ever bombed.

Now there is a wealth of information on Islamic ideology, plus there are scores of graphic videos of Islamics quoting the Quran while committing atrocities. No one can say that Muslims have no access to knowledge of Islamic ideology that includes Jew hatred, belief in Islamic superiority, and worldwide Sharia, and an Islamic caliphate. In fact, there is massive evidence that millions of Muslims adhere to this ideology. About three-quarters of a billion Muslims (about 50%), according to some recent statistics, want worldwide Sharia.

So what is going, that now, with all this information readily available, Muslims are "anti-demonized", disconnected from Islamic ideology?

Just ask yourself:
- Why it isn't even suggested that we need to distinguish between Nazis (people) and Nazism (Nazi ideology as laid out in Mein Kampf)?

- Much more important, why is it is drilled into us that we need to distinguish between Muslims (people) and Islam (Islamic ideology as laid out in the Quran)?

- But why it isn't drilled into us that we must educate ourselves as well as Muslims - or that Muslims are responsible for educating themselves - on Islamic ideology
, then we would all know the Hate ideology Muslims are associating themselves with?

To me, it doesn't make any logical sense to demonize all adherents of one of these ideologies (Nazism), while treating adherents of the other (Islam) with kid gloves - "one must not generalize about Muslims."

We know the answers to these questions, actually. Islam is powerful. So are the politically correct. Nazis are not. It's easy to demonize those out of power.

How To Prepare Your Heart

How To Prepare Your Heart

“And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD”
(2 Chr. 12:14)
Relatively few people are determined to do evil. They don’t wake up in the morning seeking ways to transgress. Rather, they fall into sin because they have not prepared their hearts to seek the Lord.

This passage in 2 Chronicles 12:14 is speaking of Rehoboam, the king of Israel, who was the grandson of David. He inherited the throne when he was 41 years old, at the death of his father Solomon. In the beginning of his reign, his heart was sensitive to the Lord. He turned back from battle simply because of a prophet who spoke to him in the name of the Lord (2 Chr. 11:1-4).

However, his seeking the Lord only lasted for three of the 17 years of his reign (2 Chr. 11:17). Sound familiar?
It certainly does to me. During the time I have been in the ministry, I have known thousands of people who genuinely loved the Lord at one time and were excited about the things of God, yet they grew cold and, in many cases, completely abandoned the Lord and the things that were once so dear to them. How can this be?
Why does this happen? It’s because they didn’t prepare their hearts to seek the Lord.

The word “prepare” means “to establish, fix, prepare, or apply.” It conveys the idea of deliberate effort over a prolonged period of time. The same Hebrew word that was translated “prepare” here was also translated “fixed” four times in the Old Testament, all spoken by David.
David used this word twice in Psalm 57:7, which was a psalm he wrote about the time he was hiding in a cave, and Saul, the king who was trying to kill David, came into that exact cave.

David’s men tried to get David to kill Saul and seize the throne which was rightfully his, but David wouldn’t do it. Why?
Wasn’t Saul trying to kill David?
Wouldn’t it have been considered self-defense?
No one would have blamed him. He could have gotten away with it and have saved years of frustration and pain in his own life. But David had already prepared, or fixed, his heart that he would not take the kingdom by killing Saul.
His own words about this instance say, “My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise” (Ps. 57:7).
If David had not already fixed his heart on what he would and would not do, he would have succumbed to the pressure of that moment. But he had already fixed his heart against taking Saul’s life.

The word “fixed” means:
“1. firmly, in position; stationary
 2. Not subject to change or variation; constant
 3. Firmly held in the mind; a fixed notion” (American Heritage Dictionary).

One of the keys to preparing our hearts is to fix our hearts on what we will and will not do before we encounter the temptation. David had already settled what he would do so that there were no options left when the temptation came. Far too often, Christians have not made strong enough commitments and, therefore, succumb to temptation.

Of course, no one can accomplish preparing their heart on their own. This is not a matter of sheer “will power.” God must be involved in preparing our hearts. Psalm 10:17 says, “LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart.” Only when we trust in the Lord and depend on Him can we find the strength to make our hearts not subject to change or variation. Humility is an essential ingredient in the preparation of our hearts.

Proverbs 16:18 says, “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” Anytime anyone falls from their steadfast position in the Lord, you can bet that they got out of humbly depending on the Lord. Humility has to be forsaken, or at least neglected, before we fall. A humble heart makes a soft, sensitive heart.

Our imaginations and our memories are also an important part of preparing our hearts. David said in 1 Chronicles 29:18, “O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee.” David was speaking about remembering and the part that imagination played in our memories.

In context, David had just given offerings toward the building of the temple in Jerusalem that totalled in the billions of dollars (1 Chr. 29:4). Then the elders of Israel did the same (1 Chr. 29:6-7). It must have been an awesome experience, and David prayed that the Lord would use the memory of this event to prepare the people’s hearts.

The power of memory is a vital part of preparing our own hearts. The Lord warned the children of Israel not to forget the mighty works He had performed for them lest they turn away from following Him (Deut. 4:9, 23; 6:12; 8:11-14, 19). He linked memory to staying true to the Lord.

No one who was dominated with thoughts of the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord would turn their back on the Lord. To turn from the Lord, Satan has to divert our attention from the Lord and block the memories of God’s goodness to us. Keeping our positive memories alive will keep our hearts knit to the Lord.

How To Overcome Doubt

How To Overcome Doubt

No one is immune to doubt. It can and does happen to us all. You’ve just got to know how to handle it when it comes. Even the greatest men and women of God recorded in the Bible had to deal with doubt. Jesus said of John the Baptist,
“Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist” (Matt. 11:11).

That means John was greater in the sight of Jesus than Abraham, Joseph, Moses, David, or any Old Testament character you can name. Yet John doubted the most important thing of all by questioning whether Jesus was really the Christ.

John the Baptist had been cast into prison for criticizing Herod about marrying his brother’s wife, an incestuous relationship. He had been there sometime between six months and two years and became so discouraged that he asked two of his disciples to go to Jesus and ask Him if He really was the Christ. It’s easy to read that and not think much about it, but the truth is, it was nothing but unbelief on the part of John the Baptist.

Think about who John was. He was separated unto God and filled with the Holy Spirit while he was still in the womb. Even Jesus wasn’t filled with the Holy Spirit from the womb. It is believed he lived in the desert near the Dead Sea with the Essens, the writers of the Dead Sea Scrolls. They were a people who were super-legalistic who dogmatically practiced many rituals of self denial. He certainly had not lived what we would call an easy life. John was separated and focused on his purpose.

His entire life was committed to preparing the way for the Christ. He spent thirty years preparing for a ministry that would only last six short months. John is the one who saw Jesus and said,
“Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world”(John 1:29).
The anointing on his life had to be exceptionally powerful because his ministry defied logic. Thousands of people from many nations came to the middle of nowhere to hear this man preach, “Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” And God had revealed to him that through a visible sign from heaven he would know who the Christ was. He would see the Spirit of God descending upon the Messiah in bodily shape as a dove. That came to pass when John baptized Jesus in the Jordan River.

At that time, John was absolutely certain that Jesus was the Christ. He had zero doubt. He was so adamant about it that he said
“I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God” in John 1:34. In Luke 3:16 he said, “One mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose.” And in John 3:30 he said, “He must increase, but I must decrease.”

However, after being imprisoned for a period of time, he began to doubt. This says a number of things, but an important one is the fact that anyone can doubt. How did Jesus respond to John’s doubt?
Well, He certainly didn’t respond the way most of us do. He told John’s disciples to go back and tell him of the miracles they had witnessed and that John would be blessed if he would just believe. That’s it. Jesus didn’t try and make John feel better by letting him know He understood his pain or by making a few complimentary comments. Jesus reserved those comments till after John’s disciples left (Luke 7:24-28).

This puzzled me for many years. Why didn’t Jesus say these things about John the Baptist in the hearing of John’s disciples so they could have brought him that word?
It seemed to me like that would have helped John more than just telling him to look at the miracles, and he’ll be blessed if he believes.
Years after I first had these questions, I was reading from Isaiah 35 and came across the passage that says,
“Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert” (Is. 35:5-6).

It suddenly struck me that this was exactly the answer that Jesus gave to John’s messengers. Look at what Jesus said in Matthew 11:4-6:
“Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.”

Jesus performed all the miracles Isaiah prophesied He would do, and threw in the healing of a leper and raising someone from the dead just for good measure. What Jesus did was He perfectly fulfilled the prophecy about Himself, and then referred John the Baptist back to that word. Jesus reminded John of the scriptures, to deal with his doubts. That’s Jesus’ method of dealing with our doubts.

Many of us have Bibles lying around gathering dust. Some of us even carry one. But when we’re struggling with unbelief, we don’t want a scripture; we want something tangible, something emotional that we can feel. We would rather have Jesus just put His arm around us and say something about how everything will be all right. That would make us feel better. But overcoming doubt isn’t just about feeling better; it’s about getting back into faith that only comes from the Word of God (Rom. 10:17).
17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

Jesus sent the Word back with John’s disciples. He knew this would stir up John’s spirit to overcome the doubt. Peter understood this about faith when he wrote about it in 2 Peter 1:12-15, which says,
“Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance; Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me. Moreover I will endeavor that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.”

Peter was stating how important it was for his words to be received, as they were, in truth, the Word of God (1 Thess. 2:13).
13 For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.

To prove to them that these were not just fables he made up, Peter refers to the time they were with Jesus on the mountain. They saw Jesus shine as the brightness of the sun. The Shekinah glory cloud of God overshadowed them all, and they heard an audible voice out of heaven say, “This is my beloved Son: hear him” (Mark 9:7). They also saw Moses and Elijah talking with Jesus. That is pretty impressive!

But Peter went on to say in 2 Peter 1:19, “We have also a more sure word of prophecy.” What could possibly be more sure than all these supernatural signs?
Peter gives that answer in the next verse when he talks about the Scriptures (2 Pet. 1:20).
13 For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.
The Scriptures are more sure and more faith building and doubt destroying than seeing Jesus transfigured or hearing an audible voice from heaven. Hallelujah!

The only sure way to overcome doubt is to place your faith in the Word of God and depend on that more sure word of prophecy.
Don’t allow your five senses to dominate your thinking. You must come to a place to where God’s Word is more real to you than anything you can see, taste, hear, smell, or feel. When you’re in doubt, refer back to the Word of God just the way Jesus told John the Baptist to do. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word.

There are only two times recorded in the Bible when Jesus marveled at anything.
Once He marveled at the people’s great unbelief (Mark 6:6), and in Matthew 8:10 He marveled at a Gentile soldier’s great faith. A faith that made Jesus marvel is worth examining. What was different about it?
The number one difference was what the centurion said,
“But speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.” (Matt. 8:8-9)

The centurion had a faith that was in God’s Word alone. He didn’t have to have Jesus come to his house and wave His hand over the sick servant. If Jesus would just give him a word, that was all he needed.

Contrast this centurion’s faith with the little faith of Thomas, who was one of Jesus’ twelve disciples. The first time the risen Christ appeared to His disciples, Thomas wasn’t present. The other ten disciples told Thomas that Jesus was resurrected, but it was eight more days before Jesus appeared to His disciples with Thomas present.

“But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.” (John 20:25)

Jesus walked up to Thomas and told him to put his finger into the print of the nails and thrust his hand into Jesus’ side and to not be faithless but believing. Thomas fell on his knees and confessed Jesus as his Lord and God.
“Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” (John 20:29)

Jesus placed a greater blessing on those who believe without seeing than those who believe because they have seen. In other words, there is a greater anointing on believing the Word than believing signs and wonders. Don’t get me wrong. I believe in signs and wonders. Jesus used them like a bell to draw people unto Himself and so should we. But the ultimate, the more sure word of prophecy, is the written Word of God.
There is a greater blessing on just believing God’s Word than there is on believing because of supernatural circumstances. Those who are looking for circumstances to confirm their faith will fail when the strong battles of unbelief come. We have to get our faith so rooted in God’s Word alone that we can withstand a hurricane.

The reason Jesus didn’t try to make John feel better with a few kind words, an emotional touch, was not because He didn’t care. He cared for John so much that He gave John His best — the written Word of God.

That’s how Jesus dealt with own His temptations (Matt. 4), and that was and still is God’s best way for us to deal with our temptations to not believe.

Maybe there’s a reason the Lord hasn’t used an emotional touch to deliver you from unbelief. Maybe it’s because He loves you so much that He’s trying to help you operate in the highest form of faith — faith that takes Him at His Word.

If the least of the saints today are greater than John the Baptist was then (Matt. 11:11), surely the Lord is wanting us to operate on at least the same level in which He dealt with John’s unbelief.

How To Fulfill God’s Will - 2

How To Fulfill God’s Will

It is more tragic when a person knows God’s will but doesn’t fulfill it than if they never knew His will to begin with (2 Pet. 2:21). I believe this happens more often than most people realize.

When we get to heaven and look back on our lives, I don’t think many of us will say, “I trusted God too much.” But many of us will say, “I played it too safe. I spent my time being occupied with too many things and not going for what God said.”

So, I think how to fulfill God’s will may be the most important part of this teaching, How to Find, Follow, and Fulfill God’s Will. It is super important that you learn how to finish your race properly.

Let’s turn over to Hebrews 12:1. It says,
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
** It says you have to run with patience the race that is set before you, and the way you do that is by “looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [your] faith”(Heb. 12:2a, brackets mine).

When I was a kid, I would mow our yard back and forth in long straight rows so you could see a pattern in the grass. I wanted it to look really sharp, and when I was finished, it was smooth and crisp. The way I did it was by picking an object in front of me and mowing straight for it. If I tried to do a straight row by looking down at the grass in front of the mower, it would be crooked every single time. This is the way you would run a race. You can’t just look right in front of your feet, or you’ll run all over the track. You’d wind up covering more distance than the other runners, and they would win because they ran straight.

If you’re going to win and fulfill God’s will, you have to look unto Jesus and stay focused on Him.

It says in Hebrews 12:3 that you have to “consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.”
This is where the battle is: right between your ears! It’s not what happens out there. Nothing external can defeat you. I know that’s a statement many people wouldn’t agree with. They think, You don’t understand. I’ve got this financial problem. I’ve got this relational problem. I have to give up. I don’t have any choice. But you always have a choice to believe God! Really, what defeats you is how you think about those things. You have to control your thinking! That’s where it starts.

Everybody wants the testimony, but nobody wants the test! You can quit when things get hard and most people wouldn’t disapprove. They’d only say something if you don’t act that way. They’d get mad at you when you start saying you can overcome in every situation. They believe you should be preparing for the worst.

The reason you have to look unto Jesus is because it’s in your mind that you faint. If you’ve started to follow God’s will but now you’ve come up against something that looks impossible, it’s all in the way you think that will determine whether you experience victory or whether you quit. Are you going to be overcome by these circumstances?
Are you going to let them defeat and discourage you?
None of these things can destroy you unless you get weary and faint in your mind.

If you’re in a bad situation and it’s beating you, make sure not to faint in your mind! It’s the way you think that is causing you to be overcome by those situations. If you would think correctly, you would overcome!
You’ve got to get to where you look to Jesus and consider Him more than what you see in the mirror, what you feel in your body, more than what other people have to say to you—anything! You have to get to where

God’s Word impacts you more than anybody else’s word!
Look at Joshua 1:8—
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then…
Then when?

When you have observed the Word of God, when you have kept it before your eyes, when you meditate in it day and night…
…then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Joshua 1:9 says,
Have not I commanded thee?
Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee wheresoever thou go.

You have to keep yourself encouraged because you will not fulfill God’s will with a defeated attitude. You’re going to have to resist discouragement. You have to overcome obstacles that have been put in your path. I’m telling you, it takes effort.
So,
…endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 2:3

If you’re going to endure over the long haul, you’re going to have to toughen up. Good soldiers don’t indulge their feelings; they just do what they need to do. You’re going to have to get to where you don’t let things bother you. I know this flies in the face of how society thinks today:

Well, you just aren’t in touch with your feelings. You’re in denial. I don’t deny that problems exist, but I do deny that any of these things can conquer me. I am absolutely in denial that I’m going to fail! God has called me to win! God has called me to be an over-comer! I can guarantee I will overcome anything that the devil forms against me (Is. 54:17). I am not in denial that sometimes things bother me, but I am not going to let them control me.

I tell you, if you are going to fulfill God’s will, you’re going to have to adopt these attitudes I’m talking about.

You need to realize that “better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof” (Eccl. 7:8).

It’s wonderful to find God’s will and move in that direction, but really, it’s only after you finish your course with joy that you realize all the benefits.
This is what I’m trying to do—to share with you how you can fulfill God’s will for your life.

Form where I stand...

Because there are many shades of the truth in the world today:
 - The Absolute Truth
 - The Apparent Truth
 - The Altered Truth
 - The Desired Truth
 - The Half Truth
 - The Misleading Truth

Yet most are not the Truth at all....

I have even read where there are now some Bible translations;  where Hell is not mentioned any more!  WOW - the modern world is so full of lies and other false information - many people are being deceived!

But there is only one Truth Of Almighty God which will stand forever;
while all the rest of such falsehood will disappear into the trash bin of history!
So stand by, watch, read and wonder because your Eternity is drawing nigh!

We will take several different tacks in the exploration and discernment of this on going set of events...

What is your priority?

Most people's priorities are way out of line with those of The Lord God!

For instances when a personal tragedy such as comes with the death of someone very close to you!
Many people's reaction is " All the stuff that seemed so important to me in daily life;  just does not really matter much now."  Suddenly the people who are close to you matter and become very important!   Because you have become desensitized to the world in general! "

These are times when people can reach out and touch the miracles of God in their life!   Yet sadly most will soon go right back into the same way of life in their daily life when it is over...  So quickly forgotten!

This is because most of us are crisis-oriented.  Instead of regular daily prayers - we do nothing until some new and unexpected event crops up in our life!
I call these temporary Christians...   So until a tragedy strikes again we coast along as if everything in our life is super great! Not so!
Then once again some catalyst of tragedy strikes and all the everyday things fall to the wayside  - because we must once again try to make time for the truth of Almighty God in our shallow life!

We should learn to be like Job, who said:

".. I have esteemed the words of His (God's)mouth more than my necessary food. "  Job 23:12

Like all people, you will only do whatever you consider vital!
Most of us have not considered being separate from the world as vital!
You may say;  boy you are a little strict here!  I can agree - but when it comes down to the Absolute Truth of God or this temporary world - I choose God!

Even if you become a Christian; you can become totally separated unto the Lord God - by apathy!

Once you came to pray and seek to know real power of the Holy Spirit of God in your existence  -  You will start to see blind eyes opened, deaf ears hear, cancer cured, the dead raised, and people truly born again unto the Lord Jesus Christ, - Baptized into the Power of the Holy Spirit!

Miracles happen when the Spirit moves through the Faith of the believer!

Once you accept the Full Gospel of Christ in your life, then it will be worth your sanctification!

Putting God first in your life may cost you - time, some of your conveniences, some of your temporary worldly pleasures.  Yet it will also cost you; your strife, much of your worry, many of your sickness and pains and your carnality - all of which are destroying your life!
Which tend to make you sick, depress, flustrated, and feeling ineffective!

So how badly do you want to succeed ?

This is not any great revelation it is just a practical way to live the Gospel of Christ in your life!  Are you ready?

If you would spend a solid year not letting doubt and unbelief into your daily life, then doing nothing but letting your Full Faith Reign; you will see many people around you whose lives would be changed!

It is simple - nothing hard about the Gospel of Christ just read, pray and concentrate daily upon the Word of God as found in the Holy Bible -
It will change your eternity and every day life!

The you will be able to say with out doubt that your entire eternal existence has changed!

Amen!

How to follow God's Will

How To Follow God’s Will

Finding God’s will for your life is essential, but it’s just the beginning. Once you start moving in God’s direction, you have a big target painted on your back. Satan will do everything he can to stop you. If you don’t bump into the devil, it’s because you both are headed in the same direction.

You’re going to have all kinds of problems trying to follow God’s will. You can definitely learn from hard knocks. I certainly have. But I don’t recommend it. There is a better way. You can learn from somebody else’s hard knocks.

This is exactly what the Scripture has to say:
6) Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
7) Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
8) Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
9) Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
10) Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
11) Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

1 Corinthians 10:6-11
This is very clear that the reason all these things are listed is so that you don’t have to learn everything the hard way. See the way that God dealt with these people and their actions, and learn from their example.

I’ve made my share of mistakes as I’ve followed the Lord, but I’ve also avoided many of them through taking instruction from the Scripture. I want to share with you from the life of Moses some of the things God showed me.
If you can receive this—if you can read it not only as a Bible story but take the lessons you see in Moses’ life and then apply them directly to your life—it will be a tremendous benefit.
I can promise you that this lesson from Moses’ life is relevant to every single person.

Exodus 2:11-15 says,
11) And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren.
12) And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.
13) And when he went out the second day, behold, two men of the Hebrews strove together: and he said to him that did the wrong, Wherefore smitest thou thy fellow?
14) And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? intendest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known.
15) Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.

If you only took this passage of Scripture, then you could read into it and suppose some of the things that Cecil B. DeMille depicted in The Ten Commandments. For instance, in the movie, Moses did not know he was Hebrew. So, when he went out and killed this Egyptian, he did it just because he was a nice guy who took up for the underdog. But if you have an overview of the entire Word of God, you’ll discover that’s not how it happened.

In Acts 7:23, Stephen, speaking of Moses, said,
And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.
In other words, he knew he was Jewish. God had started this whole thing by laying it on Moses’ heart to go “visit his brethren the children of Israel.”
Acts 7:24-25 reads,
24) And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him that was oppressed, and smote the Egyptian:
25) For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.

This totally changes everything! This means that when Moses killed this Egyptian, it wasn’t something that just happened. Moses knew God’s will for his life. He knew that God had called him to bring deliverance to the Jews. When he killed this Egyptian, he was actually trying to bring God’s will to pass. He expected the Jews to rally behind him. His purpose was to lead them out of captivity and into the Promised Land. But he totally missed God’s plan. It was an utter failure!

The significance of this to you and me is tremendous! And here’s one of the first points I want to get across. I just pray that God will open up your heart and help you receive this: Knowing God’s will for your life is a very small part of you following and fulfilling that will.

That comes as a total shock to most people. Most people think, God, just show me what You want me to do, and praise God, I can take care of it from here. But, actually, the Scripture teaches a much different attitude. Once you know God’s will for your life, the next step—and maybe even a more important step—is finding out how to follow and fulfill His will.

In our society today, a lot people believe that the end justifies the means. As long as they get from here to there, it doesn’t matter how they do it. That kind of logic has led to people making compromises. They’ll do all kinds of things—operate in dishonesty, stab other people in the back, and do just about anything—as long as they feel they’re fulfilling God’s will. Moses actually killed this Egyptian, thinking that murder would produce God’s will.
That’s how far off base we can get when we lean to our own understanding (Prov. 3:5).  Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

People often take a word from God, make a paragraph out of it, and are out there in self-will. Or, like Moses, they take the word and try to make it happen without asking God about the timing. I see this all the time. There is a right way and a wrong way to accomplish things. There is God’s way, and there is a selfish way.

It’s not enough just to know that God has called you and that He has put an anointing on your life; you need to develop the character and the maturity to accurately represent Him. How you get from never having ministered for the Lord to fulfilling that call is every bit as important as recognizing the call on your life. One of the reasons we have a Bible college and go to the effort that we do is because of this very thing.
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Prov. 14:12). Preparation time is never wasted time.

I hope you’re really getting this. For you to know what God wants you to do is wonderful, and that’s powerful. It’s a great privilege to have God reveal His will to you. I’m not diminishing that. But that is just the beginning step. That’s like opening the door. You have not arrived. You are not complete. It is every bit as important to understand how to follow His will for your life as it is to know what His will is.

These things I’m sharing with you have kept me from being sidetracked and sidelined by the devil. Many of you may feel a stirring from God that you’re supposed to do something, and yet you don’t know His plan. That’s why I’ve put together a teaching series that I believe will really help you. The whole purpose of this is to teach you how to find God’s will, follow it, and also fulfill it. This includes what I’ve shared in this letter about Moses and much more.

For instance, Moses also missed God’s timing. That cost him forty years in the wilderness and the children of Israel thirty years’ extra bondage. That’s not what anyone wants. You need this teaching. Learn by Moses’ mistakes and not yours.

The End Of The Asset Boom

The End Of The Asset Boom

The Politics Of The Next Recession: How A Bust Could Impact The 2016 Elections

I cover demographic, social and economic trends around the world.

In this hyper-political age, perceptions about virtually everything from the weather to the Academy Awards are shaped by ideology. No surprise then that views on the economy and its trajectory also divide to a certain extent along partisan lines.

How the public perceives the economy will have a major impact on this year’s elections. That most are already discouraged cannot be denied;  the negative sentiment has propelled the rise of such seemingly marginal political figures as Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders. But will the economy prove a bother to the Democrats?

A lot depends on where you live and what you do. Much of the country is not doing so well; despite a strong two-year run in job creation, some 93 percent of U.S. counties still have not gained back all the jobs that they lost in the Great Recession, according to the National Association of Counties.

Yet many liberals believe the economy is shipshape. Paul Krugman, the progressive economist, hails the “Obama boom,” citing rising employment, some slight income gains and, at least until recently, a soaring stock market.

Krugman and others point to California, the epitome of true-blue virtues, as having what one progressive journalist calls a simply “swell” economy. Rarely mentioned is the fact that, for the past two decades, the state’s economy has more often underperformed national averages.

More serious still, the same state that boasts Silicon Valley also suffers the highest poverty rate in the nation. Overall nearly a quarter of Californians live in poverty, the highest percentage of any state, including Mississippi.
According to a recent United Way study, close to one in three is barely able to pay their bills.
A slowing economy and weak stock market, in contrast, does offer some solace to Republicans, who clearly see a political opportunity. Even at its best, this has been a slow growth recovery and while the official unemployment rate has improved sharply, labor participation rates remain depressed by historical standards. Millions of young people remain in their parent’s homes as opposed to engaging the economy, buying homes, and getting onto adulthood.

The End Of The Asset Boom
America may not be in as bad shape as Republicans and conservatives like to insist. Certainly compared to Europe or Japan, we’re in great shape. While some doubt weakness in China really poses a danger to the U.S. – exports account for only 13% of U.S. GDP, after all, and China is not one of the largest markets for U.S. goods — David Stockman, among others, argues that China’s slowdown is due to a dangerous phenomenon that is present in the U.S. as well: a disastrous level of debt.

Some Democratic economists like Larry Summers, as well as economic gurus such as Mohammed el-Erian, warn that we should at least prepare for the possibility of recession.
