We are at a juncture in the history of the USA, where the sitting President, needs to understand the needs of the people! He is responsible to the people; not the people to him!
" Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country! " a True-ism
The general political conscience today, is that anything is "OK" to say; as long as you can just get your [which profits certain people] agenda through! This tends to have no concern for practicality, common sense, intelligent thought, the majority of the Citizen's choice, or for the most part any real good overall practical purpose; based upon the decision(s) of those directly involved!
When did we get so far as to allow those elected to believe; that they alone know what is best for the nation... Rather than the true concept of the USA, which is the government is of the people, for the people, and by the people!
I guess they forgot that! HUH!
Write, call, email, send a telegram, to the President... This must stop or there will be a break down in this government; because many people [Tax Paying Citizens] are mad and upset that things have gotten so messed up!
Let's get the attention of the President; because he is the servant of the people...
Do you part let the President know how you feel, before it is too late!
Don't become Obama-ized; just because he could sweet talk the tail off a Jack-ass, does not make he any less a man, like the rest of the citizens... He is just a man...
Besides talk is cheap as my Grand mother used to say! Action gets the pie baked, talking only gets you hungry!
Our president did not encourage participation in the National Day of Prayer. He called it an event. He thinks it should be private prayer instead of Public Prayer. Yet the so called Government policy of separating "Church" & State is being blurred to accommodate the Muslin minority; with special prayer rooms and times in the public schools... Very Odd behavior and a true double standard!
In 1952, President Truman established one day a year as a National Day of Prayer. In 1988, President Reagan designated the first Thursday in May of each year as the National Day of Prayer. All presidents since then have observed the Day of Prayer for our nation by participating in a ceremony for the event. However, since becoming President of the USA , President Obama has stated publically that America is no longer a Christian nation. And this past May, President Obama cancelled the ceremony at the White House for the National Day of Prayer.
I have recently learned that on Friday, September 25, 2009, a National Day of Prayer for the Muslim religion will be held on Capitol Hill, near the White House.

It appears that we are speeding towards a one world government and closer to the Second Coming of Christ; at a rapid pace. I remember reading about the children of Israel who turned from God time and time again, only to realize their mistake and pray for forgiveness. Each time, God would forgive them and they would walk with him for a time. So, I am going to ask you to join me in praying for our nation every day. God is in control!!!

In Texarkana recently, there were signs in people's yards that said, " America , prayer our only hope" with 2 Chron. 7:14 underneath. We certainly need God's help!
While I have no idea who started this, but I certainly agree with this e-mail. I heard a preacher on TV tonight who said if we pray for our nation that things will turn around. After a day of contemplation and soul searching, I have decided to reach out to my friends and relatives and ask you to do something that has been troubling me for a long time.
Our nation is / has been on the slippery slope for a long time. If you look around you will find corruption, greed, moral decay, and a steady move away from the things that made the USA great. The principles upon which this nation was founded are no longer our backbone. However, we can reverse this trend.
2 Chron. 7:14 in God's word he states, "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
I am convinced that we must pray for our nation and its leaders and ask for forgiveness. So I ask you to join me in this plea to our Lord.
Would you please send this to people in your address book (send it to all of them, if possible); ask them to pray EVERYDAY...
If you do and they comply, we will lift up millions and millions of prayers a day to our Creator. He will hear us and in faith will answer. God save the Nation that follows HIM!

The advice appears in leaflets circulated to parents, teachers and youth workers and is meant to update sex education by telling students about the benefits of enjoyable sex.
The authors of the guidance say that for too long, experts have concentrated on the need for "safe sex" and committed relationships while ignoring the principal reason that many people have sex.

Entitled Pleasure, the leaflet has been drawn up by NHS Sheffield, but it also being circulated outside the city.
The leaflet carries the slogan "an orgasm a day keeps the doctor away". It also says: "Health promotion experts advocate five portions of fruit and veg a day and 30 minutes' physical activity three times a week. What about sex or masturbation twice a week?"
Steve Slack, the director of the Center for HIV and Sexual Health at NHS Sheffield, who is one of the leaflet's authors, says that instead of promoting teenage sex, it could encourage young people to delay losing their virginity until they are certain they will enjoy the experience.
Mr Slack believes that if teenagers are fully informed about sex and are making their decisions of their own will in a loving relationship, they have an equal right as an adult to an enjoyable sex life.
Anthony Seldon, the headmaster of Wellington College, which recently introduced classes in emotional wellbeing, said the leaflets were "deplorable".

How can one misinterpreted letter be considered counter the views of all fifty states constitutions?

So where does the so term " Separation of Church and State "come from?
Well it is only found in one (1) letter from Thomas Jefferson to the Baptist Convention in New England; stating that the state {government} should not set up or mandate any church {religious belief system} upon the people of the United States!
Then in the 1950's the Supreme Court made a ruling; using this literally; even though it is not in the US Constitution! It has been a down hill battle ever since... With every anti church group using this to stop the people from recognizing their own personal religious beliefs!
Let's look at all the Preambles of the 50 states! It makes you wonder how this thing has gotten so out of hand!

Even the ACLU and most of the present (out-of-control) federal courts are confused also! If you found this to be 'Food for thought' send to as many as you think would like to be enlightened as I hope you were.
Note: Actually Thomas Jefferson had it right, that there should not be any government (state) control over the religious views of the common people! It is also true that there should not be any church or religious group directing policy for the government... Therefore in a sense it is a separation of the practices and views of the government with any religious groups... Each should be independent to practice within their own areas of concern! This does not mean that the government does not recognize and participate in the actives of the religious sector! Rather it means that the government must not make any laws restricting religious actives... i.e. Freedom of Religion!
Please note that at no time is anyone told that they MUST worship God.)

There has always been a thin line between analyzing someone or something and criticizing! a True-ism
What should you do when confronting a new or different situation in your life?
Well we all will generally tend to make some sense of the new or different situation... This is the natural approach!

This may be hard for some of us to accept but many times this is the "Honest to God" Truth! Why?
Because we are really self centered people! It is generally all about us, or so we think and therefor judge!
Criticism becomes our prime method of looking at others and their ideas or situations...
It is easy to say they did or did not do something or the other; the way we think they should have... It is the old adage that there may be a log in our eye while we try to criticize a splinter on another eye... i.e. We can't see the forest for the trees so to speak... We generally over look our own differences when criticizing others!
The key here is to come to the realization that we do not know it all... HUH! Then we should take an approach that allows for growth and concern... This is where we must learn to apply a system of analyzing the situation!
To accurately analyze any situation, requires certain steps to be followed:
1) Make some determination as to what and or where this situation fits into the fabric of life (yours or theirs)!
2) Is the situation a real concern (life or death) or just a passing fancy or fad?
3) If you feel it is a concern, then how personal or critical is it to your life? Here you must decide on some more immediate results!
4) If it is critical to your life, then to what degree or period of time does the situation apply? Once you determine it is a life or death situation then you must react accordingly!
5) If it is imminent or soon coming to pass then a more immediate response is required than otherwise! (Action or response is key!)
6) From here you must take a more systematic (critical to those of less concern) approach of analyzing...
Things in life fall into one of the following categories; familiar and known facts or new, original plus perhaps even unknown facts...

There has always been a thin line between analyzing someone or something and criticizing! a True-ism
What should you do when confronting a new or different situation in your life?
Well we all will generally tend to make some sense of the new or different situation... This is the natural approach!
How we do this is the question at hand!
For most of us it comes down to comparing and making critical remarks or observations... If we are honest and look back into our

It is sad that we pass time on this earth and seldom learn what is expected of us... It appears from my over fifty years of observation; that many things here are cyclic and many are just part of the same system!
This life is much more than just finding things to make you happy! DUH!
If you really do not understand that then we need to talk! Reply or email me!
Lets look at what some of your goals should really be... HUH!
1) Your life like all things on this earth will come to pass...
2) While you waste most of your time in futile persuits, the Eternity rolls on!
3) If you ever get to the point when you seek the real reason for your life; stop pray and listen!
4) No matter what or how much you pile up in this earthly life; only your memories go with you, make them good!
5) Most things on this earth are here to assist or help us to become the best person (spirit) we can become!
6) If you have left God out of your life or have just ignored Him; you still have time to repent and seek Him!!
All of this is not a scare tactic; rather it is the explanation of the Absolute Truth as I have been led to believe...
Remember there is a Kingdom beyond sight of this worldly existance; have you acquired the desire to serve and enter there in?

Traveling our pathway of life, we often forget what we really seak!
Most of the time when we spend looking for answers in our life;
yet what we actually need is comfort!
Life is more about being a helper to those who are placed on our pathway of life

Core beliefs?
What you should have learned in Kindergarten or First Grade!
Oh where is your proper moral compass?

Sometimes you may want to go back to a simpler time!! Like when you started school...
There are some things that we should learn early on in life! Most of these are the things that form your life's core values... Core values are the basic values you use and depend on to guide your life! HUH!
"It has been said that we learn more proportionally the first few years of our life than in all the rest!"
a True-ism
Most people should have learned the basics of their life by the time they were in Kindergarten... Of course it required that you had someone in your past; who was concerned enough to mentor and nurture you!
I was very fortunate to have people who really loved and supported me in my younger years... All of this was a result of the love shared in my family... I had loving Grandmothers and a supportive Mother! This was the base of my core beliefs... " Thank you Big Mama!"
I came to know the reason and purpose of what is right or wrong in life... This kind of training led the formation of a platform or base which allowed me to steer clear of many of the pitfalls that occur in life... Later when confronted by the temptations or pressured to fall into some evil or unworthy actives; it was no contest, I just did not cave in, because of my early up bringing... {This does not mean that I did not sin or fall short!}
This is the result of being properly brought up, which is more than I can say for many people you meet today... Congratulations to the readers of this blog; as usually the uncouth and selfish people in the world today do not ever read my entries... (Sad but true)
This just goes to show why there are so many unprincipled, undisciplined and selfish people, in the world today... Not because they do not read my blogs, rather they did not get the basic training in their younger years in order to form a proper core belief standard! As you can see it all goes back to having the correct core beliefs to make the important decisions in life!
"Without a moral compass you are much like a leaf blowing in the wind of time, always on the move but never getting to any desired destination!" a True-ism
Sorry I missed out on kindergarten; but did get First Grade @ St Paul's with Sister Rosa Letia. Maybe some of you may remember the Dick and Jane books with Spot the dog... They started out "Look"... As in; " Look see Spot run, run Spot run..." Maybe there is something there we should revisit in our thinking today... Like look!
The rest was to always put your things away, clean up after yourself, no pushing, wait your turn and no talking with out raising your hand to be recognized!
Just a few things we could use to help make the world a better place, HUH!

Some of "The People" have some concerns which you should consider!

As the President it is your duty to try to steer a course for the country which is more than just meeting the interest of a few special interest groups... This blog is meant to help you understand some of the needs of the common people!
" In order to rule successfully; it is necessary for the whole needs of the people be understood!" a True-ism
Most people seldom come to understand the real meaning or purpose of their life... This is where it becomes important to seek the interest of those with whom your life is shared... Each of us has a position or station in life which we alone must live... You now as President must learn to make decisions which effect the entire nation as well as the world...
Some advice to you is to seek the opinion of as many factions and people so that you can make the best valid decisions... It is a true test of leadership for those in power; to recognize that it is only through the will of GOD that each of us can truly function on our pathway of life!
Your position and quest is to try to find the best possible path to follow! Please do not be limited by only those in the government which surround you in Washington! Seek the advice of the people and pray for guidance in all matters!

The Ruin of America
It is unusual to have to post a truth that is of the negative nature! But as a truth barometer it must be done...
The recent passage of the so called "Stimulus Package" will prove to be the unraveling of the so called "American Dream"...
What the enemies of the USA have wanted will come about through this dive into debt... This is beyond any thing the United States has ever jumped into before...
Anyone who supported this will live to express with shame the reason they allowed this to go forward... It is sad to have a major group of citizens come to support a program that will drain many of the dreams and plans of so many Americians...

Fear, Shame and Guilt!
Fear, Shame & Guilt!

Why do we feel weak, lost, and unaccepted?
Many today know of GOD; but do not have any relationship with HIM!
" But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he can not understand them, because they are spiritually apprised!" I Cor. 2:14 KJV. a True-ism
The term " Knowledge " in the western world especially is just a collection of data. Some of the negative emotions people experience due to the lack of a fuller understanding and better relationship with GOD are:
1) Fear of almost everything... We are living in a period of great anxiety.
2) Shame and guilt, when dominated by these emotions, people tend to cover their inner self thus self disclosure is not likely to happen.
One of the main contributions of these feelings is the wave of depression which doubled between 1985 to 1995 and has shown a tenfold increase in the twentieth century in the USA... Much of this is based on the fact that we have too many choices today...
With so much information available in the past hundred years, people tend to become befuddled or over whelmed by the sheer mass of data... We get advice from almost everywhere, do this, or go here, or buy this, or say that, then all the government regulations and laws... It has become a place where you can know a lot but not be available to respond because you do not know which is the right or correct path for you!
The transitional effects of mankind's key attributes; Innocence, Dominion and Acceptance, have become three almost continuous needs in our lives today...
1) Innocence has been replaced for the most part by guilt and shame; which causes the need for a sense of true self worth needs to be restored!
2) Dominion has been replaced by weakness ans a sense of total helplessness; we therefore have a need for strength and self-control evident in the world today.
3) Acceptance was replaced by various forms of rejection; Which makes us want to belong to something, even if it is wrong.
Apart from the Holy Spirit in your life, the greatest power you possess is your ability to choose! Our sense of worth is not a question of our giftedness, talents, intelligence, strength or beauty; it is your sense of personal worth as a child of God!
The human soul was not designed to function as a sovereign master. We are not masters of our fates or even Captains of our souls! Every temptation to live your life independent of God's plan is a one way path toward destruction and loss. Even our best efforts at self control, beyond our personal choice; without the Grace of God, leads only to some type of self perfectionism or a form of legalism which will result in self destruction!
