Grabing retirement funds?

Following in the footsteps of a rather ignominious list of nations like Argentina and Hungary, the government of Ireland is set to take its 'fair share' of private retirement funds.

Drowning in debt and faced with unpopular, unrealistic, ridiculously unpopular austerity measures, the government has announced that it will now tax private pension savings in order to raise 470 million euros (roughly $675 million) per year... a lot of money in a country of only 4.4 million people.

Somehow, the government expects to be able to create 100,000 jobs to bring down an unemployment rate at 14.7 percent. Perhaps they plan on hiring 100,000 new workers to go around the country and collect the tax.

It reminds me of Bolivia — there's a tax or toll or fee for nearly everything you do. Driving on the highway (if you can call it that) outside of Santa Cruz, you pay a toll... obviously not for the maintenance of the road, but to pay the salary of the toll collector.

At the airport, you have to pay an airport tax before departure... obviously not for the upkeep and efficiency of the airport, but to pay the salaries of the guys who collect the airport tax.

This is what politicians consider "job creation," yet these positions only serve to destroy value. That they would stick up the retirement funds of hardworking people is even more immoral.

Here's the best part, though. If you are a government worker in Ireland, your pension is exempt. They're only going after people in the private workforce. It's truly disgusting logic to force private workers to pay for years of political incompetence while absolving government employees.

Coincidentally, there are a few other loopholes as well, particularly for non-residents and non-resident funds. Apparently those Irish who saw the writing on the wall and got busy moving themselves and their assets offshore will get to keep all of their savings.

Ireland is not the first country to call this play, nor will it be the last. Pension funds are attractive targets for politicians who have wide eyes and the most carnal thoughts at the site of any large pool of cash.

Think it can't happen where you live? Think again. Late last year, the French government went through an elaborate process to change its pension laws, "legally" allowing politicians to steal retirement funds from the public in order to pay off other debts.

In the U.S., public pensions have been raided for years, and Congress routinely "borrows" from Social Security to make up budget shortfalls. This is what talking heads mean when they play down concerns of a $14 trillion debt "because we owe it to ourselves" — $4.6 trillion of the debt is owed to intragovernmental agencies like Social Security.

Chances of this money being repaid to Social Security in full? Slim. The trend is more debt, not paying off existing debt. In fact, I'm convinced that politicians have their eyes firmly fixed on the trillions of dollars in private individual retirement accounts (IRAs) in the United States to fund new spending.

Here's how it will go down:

First, there will be some event... some sort of financial cataclysm, similar to the market meltdown we saw in 2008 after Lehman.

Bear in mind that most IRAs are managed by hotshots at big financial institutions; they get compensated not based on the performance of their portfolio, but on the total amount of assets under management. Your interests and their interests do not align.

As such, most IRAs are callously tossed into S&P index funds or some such generic vehicle, citing the safety of broader market diversification, as if that nonsense they teach in MBA finance classes is how the real world actually works.

When a big crash occurs, these unhedged broad market positions get hammered the most. Don't worry though, your fund manager will still get a big fat bonus check, because his performance is irrelevant.

This is when Congress will step in. Citing its desire to 'protect' the American people from future market shocks, the politicians will mandate that a portion of all managed retirement funds be invested in the "safety and security" of U.S. Treasury bonds. And, just to be on the safe side, let's park them in 30-year bonds that yield 4.35 percent.

Sound fair? Well who asked you anyways... just be a good citizen and turn over your money already. The important part is that the big financial institutions still get their big fat fees, and the government gets its hands on the mother lode.

This is how U.S. taxpayers will end up being forced to lend their hard-earned retirement savings to the government at rates far below any expected inflation.

Right now, there is a window of opportunity to take action; U.S. taxpayers with retirement accounts can set up a special kind of IRA structure that allows you to take control of your retirement savings and even ship it offshore if you want to, completely legitimately.

After taking control of your IRA, you can do any number of things — buy and store gold and silver coins overseas; hold foreign currencies in an offshore bank account; buy securities on international stock exchanges; purchase agricultural property overseas, or even a beautiful apartment on the beach in some sunny country.

The possibilities are incredible... but the most important thing is that you get this retirement money off the radar of the politicians before they pull an Ireland and announce some new measure, virtually overnight. These things can happen very, very quickly.

I've talked about this before a number of times, and every time I read the news of yet another country taking this approach, it serves as a reminder to take action.

If what I'm saying makes sense to you, I urge you to check out Terry Coxon's book on this subject, Unleash Your IRA. As one of the world's foremost experts on this strategy, Terry walks you through the process of protecting your retirement savings quickly and legitimately. To read more about it, click here.

Fat Pelicans or generosity generates gratitude?

Fat Pelicans or generosity generates gratitude?

Friday 10 th December , 2010

Do you really expect a free lunch?

Some years ago, in Monterey, California, a crisis arose.   Monterey had become a paradise for pelicans.   After cleaning their fish, the local fishermen would throw all the excess waste to the pelicans.   The birds soon became fat and lazy.   Baby pelicans grew up dependent on the handouts, not knowing how to catch their next meal.

Eventually, a new market was found that could use the waste products commercially.    The pelicans no longer had a free meal.      Yet, the pelicans made no effort to fish for themselves. Generations had been trained to just wait and wait they did for the free handouts that never came.     They were angry and invasive about the unexpected changes.     Many starved to death.     They seemed to have forgotten how to fish for themselves.

1. Unemployment – In 1935, right after the Depression, unemployment benefits were established to assist those who were unemployed.      The state and federal fund was to provide $5 to $15 per week and would be paid for not more than 16 weeks.     Yet today  many people are demanding that unemployment benefits be extended beyond 99 weeks. And yet we know that the biggest predictor of how long someone will be unemployed is knowing how long they have access to unemployment benefits.

2. Welfare – Our welfare system was established to help not support those few but not everyone, who had to struggle most.    Now we have entire families into the 3rd and 4th generation who have no expectation of income other than government welfare.

If we assume generosity generates gratitude then we would expect these people to be the most grateful and patriotic of all segments of our society.   Yet what we see is that these communities are hot spots of anger, crime, hostility, racial stagnation, resentment and even violence.

3. Foreign Aid –  In a recent op-ed piece in the Wall Street Journal,   Mambisa Moyo writes that“charity-based aid” cannot provide long-term sustainable development for Africa.    She says the $60 trillion of this aid that’s been given in the past 60 years is not working, evident from the fact that the number of Africans who live on less than $1 day has doubled in the last 20 years.      Anger and resentment against America is growing.   We have destroyed the profitability of local farmers, gardeners, clothing makers and shoe sellers.     Moyo says cutting off the flow of foreign aid would be “far more beneficial.”

So when does helping start hurting?    If we really want these pelicans to develop their natural talent for fishing {supporting themselves}, what is the most helpful thing we can do?

Gradually stop feeding them, so they will have to learn how to feed and support themselves!

Sometimes a “safety net” sabotages what could have been success.

You really have to understand you potential and believe you can do it!  This is the key to success in life!

Well most if not all people do not want to give up their supposed control in life!
But we should learn to live with the DID principle...
The acceptence or total surrender to The Will of God; is not only required but absolutely required if you or anyone is receive The fullness of His Grace which simply means to Trust Him Totaly!
This is what we all should do; but unfortunatily we allow everything get in the way...
So it is not the where or the what, rather it is that you do attempt to serve God within your life! Because it our trust and then attempt at obeadence that reflects our true heart!
Here is a post from the writings of Brother Lawrence that should help:

« on: 19,Jul2010,15:52*:EDT »

Although he was assigned to the most humble task; he never complained.
The Grace of The Lord Jesus Christ sustained Brother Lawrence in everything that was unpleasant or tiresome. His faithfulness to God was exemplary.

Even when told by one of his supervisors that there was talk of dismissing him from the monastery; he replied,
" I am in the hands of God; He will do with me as He pleases. If I do not serve Him here, or I will serve Him else where!"

** This should be the goal in each of our lives... It is not where you serve Him, but that you do! Just maybe you will have a better and more satisfactory journey on your pathway of life!

We did not do it!

Guess what we (humans) did not do it; nor could we....

It takes so Big Brass Kahunas to even think we have such power!

Learned this in college chemistry class... Man nether creates nor destroys matter; we may rearrange it but beyond that we are observers only! We had an excellent Prof. who had worked 30 years for DuPont, he spoke the truth, not speculation like many scientist today!

*** Here is the article:

February 7, 2011 at 5:27am
Subject: part two
"The earth's climate has been significantly affected by the planet's magnetic field, according to a Danish study published Monday that could challenge the notion that human emissions are responsible for global warming.

"'Our results show a strong correlation between the strength of the earth's magnetic field and the amount of precipitation in the tropics,' one of the two Danish geophysicists behind the study, Mads Faurschou Knudsen of the geology department at Aarhus University in western Denmark, told the Videnskab journal.

"He and his colleague Peter Riisager, of the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS), compared a reconstruction of the prehistoric magnetic field 5,000 years ago based on data drawn from stalagmites and stalactites found in China and Oman."

In the scientific paper "Midday magnetopause shifts earthward of geosynchronous orbit during geomagnetic superstorms with Dst = -300 nT" the magnetic intensity of solar storms impacting Earth can intensify the effects of the polar shift and also speed up the frequency of the emerging superstorms.

Pole reversal may also be initiating new Ice Age

According to some geologists and scientists, we have left the last interglacial period behind us. Those periods are lengths of time—about 11,500 years—between major Ice Ages.

One of the most stunning signs of the approaching Ice Age is what's happened to the world's precessional wobble.

The Earth's wobble has stopped As explained in the geology and space science website http://www.facebook.com/l/d7badFWUgrVMzyuo-WVBelJ2Lqg;earthchangesmedia.com, "The Chandler wobble was first discovered back in 1891 by Seth Carlo Chandler an American astronomer.

The effect causes the Earth's poles to move in an irregular circle of 3 to 15 meters in diameter in an oscillation. The Earth's Wobble has a 7-year cycle which produces two extremes, a small spiraling wobble circle and a large spiraling wobble circle, about 3.5 years apart.

What the 111th Congress did!

Here is a year end review; you may want to pay attention as to how this will effect your life!

THE CAPITOLIST

How Congress Changed Your Life in 2010

242 Comments Say Something »
As members of the 111th Congress look back on 2010, they will see anything but a do-nothing session. From banning drop-side cribs, to freezing their own salaries for the second year in a row, to overhauling the food inspection system, to telling airlines not to charge fees for carry-on luggage, the Democratically controlled House and Senate passed bills at a feverish pace in the past year.

But several developments stand out for the breadth of their impact. They may not all be popular, as evidenced by the November "shellacking" that Democrats took in the midterm elections, but the following congressional actions in 2010 -- and in one case inaction -- will affect hundreds millions of Americans in the next year and beyond.

1. Extending the Bush Tax Cuts. The compromise brokered between President Barack Obama and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell in December will impact every American with a job and most Americans without one.

The new law will continue the expiring Bush tax rates for all income levels for the next two years; continue current tax rates on capital gains and dividends; set the estate tax at 35 percent for estates valued at more than $5 million, and continue dozens of tax breaks and credits for people from the bottom of the income spectrum to the top.

The most immediate difference will come in your first paycheck next year. Starting Jan. 1, the 6.2 percent payroll tax will drop to 4.2 percent for the next year, putting hundreds of dollars back in most workers' pockets. And for people without a job, the new law extends unemployment benefits until 2012, if they've been out of work for less than 99 weeks.

2. Reforming the
Health Insurance System. No single piece of legislation was more controversial in 2010 than the Democratically sponsored overhaul of the health insurance industry.

Although the majority of Americans will continue to have insurance through their employers in the future, and most will still be covered by private insurers, the new law gives the federal government a much larger role in determining what kind of health care Americans get and how much insurance will cost. It also mandates that all Americans carry health insurance by 2014, a requirement that is being challenged in federal court.

Already this year, the law has allowed young adults to remain on their parents' policies until they are 26 years old; given tax credits to small businesses to cover employees' insurance, and will soon end insurance companies' ability to cut off coverage for customers who reach lifetime coverage caps.

Within the next three years, individuals will be able to shop for insurance through new health care exchanges, and will get government subsidies if they need help paying for it. About 15 million low-income Americans will be added to Medicaid, a development that governors have vocally opposed because of the unfunded mandates associated with it.

To pay for the multibillion dollar cost of the reforms, the bill expanded the Medicare payroll tax to investment income; will impose a 40 percent excise tax on expensive insurance policies by 2018; will add fees on pharmaceuticals and medical devices, and will collect penalties from individuals and large business that do not buy the coverage required by the new law.

3. Overhauling Federal Student Loans. Provisions tacked onto the health care reform bill eliminated the role of private lenders in originating federal student loans. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that will save the federal government, which paid lenders to oversee the program, between $6 billion and $7 billion per year.

The people who will notice the biggest difference will be financial aid officers, who used to decide which private lenders they would use to originate federal loans for their students. Those loans will now all be originated by the U.S. Department of Education and will have the same federal terms and conditions that have been in effect for years.

But the changes will eventually impact every student who applies for and receives federal loans to attend college or graduate school. Although students will still seek loans through the financial aid office at their college or university, the loans cannot be resold to other loan servicers and will not be affected by private bank failures, which could disrupt payments.

Because of a spike in demand for Pell grants, that program was on course to run out of money in 2010. The Pell grant program will now remain solvent until at least 2017, with the maximum Pell grant award rising from $5,550 this year to $5,975 five years from now.

4. Failing to pass the $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill. In the last days of the 111th Congress, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid spiked an omnibus spending bill that was made up of all 12 annual spending bills that Congress usually passes individually.

In the short term, that means the federal government will continue operating at current spending levels until March 5. But in the longer-term, it guarantees the first of many showdowns over spending between the Republican-led House and the Democratic Senate. With government spending at the top of most incoming Republicans' target lists, compromise between the two chambers could be almost impossible.

The impasse also puts the future of earmarking in doubt. Although Republicans had sponsored thousands of the 6,600 earmarks in the bill, they backed away from the legislation when tea party activists made it clear they would challenge GOP lawmakers in the future who voted for pork projects now.

5. Overseeing a $1.29 Trillion Increase in the Deficit. New federal programs cost money, and the 111th Congress oversaw the second-highest deficit in history and an increase in the national debt to $14 trillion.

David Walker, the onetime Comptroller General of the United States, says runaway spending in Washington will have a crippling effect on Americans one and two generations from now. "We're mortgaging the future of the country, and their children and grandchildren," Walker told Politics Daily. "At the same time, because of the growth of spending, we're reducing the role of investments in our future because the budget on the discretionary side is getting squeezed at a time when America is facing growing competition in a global economy."

If Congress does not change its spending habits now, Walker said, everyone's tax bills will be higher in the future. "If we don't end up reforming our ways, federal taxes will have to double within the next 20 to 30 years, just to stop the bleeding."

Sex traffic

Sex Trafficking

Sex trafficking is a growing global enterprise driven by deception, coercion and force.
Traffickers transport or detain their victims for the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation.
This trade in rape for profit thrives in the absence of robust law enforcement to
ensure the protection of the law for vulnerable children and women.

The Facts
• After drug dealing, human trafficking (both sex trafficking and
trafficking for forced labor) is tied with the illegal arms industry as the
second largest criminal industry in the world today, and it is the fastest
growing. (U.S. Department of Heath and Human Services)
• Worldwide, there are nearly two million children in
the commercial sex trade. (UNICEF)

• There are an estimated 600,000 to 800,000 children, women and men
trafficked across international borders annually. (U.S. Department of State)
• Approximately 80 percent of human trafficking victims are women and
girls, and up to 50 percent are minors. (U.S. Department of State)
• The total market value of illicit human trafficking is
estimated to be in excess of $32 billion. (U.N.)
• Sex trafficking is an engine of the global AIDS epidemic.
(U.S. Department of State)

*** IJM’s Res ponse
International Justice Mission’s first priority in its anti-trafficking casework is to secure
the protection of the law for trafficked women and children forced into commercial
sexual activity. IJM investigators spend hundreds of hours gathering and documenting
undercover evidence of trafficking and sexual exploitation. Using this evidence, IJM staff
members then partner with local authorities to rescue victims from situations of ongoing
abuse and ensure that they have access to aftercare services to meet their vital needs. IJM
lawyers work alongside local authorities to secure the conviction and sentencing of traffickers
and other perpetrators.

Sex trafficking will endure as long as it remains a profitable criminal enterprise. By freeing
victims and prosecuting their perpetrators, IJM operations increase the risk and decrease
the profitability of trafficking for those who would commit this crime. IJM works to
combat sex trafficking in Bolivia, India, Cambodia and the Philippines. IJM investigations
have resulted in freedom for more than 1,000 girls and women held by force in the
commercial sex trade.

Your Future

We all should know that this earthly life is temporary!

The other is that what is past is gone, but we do have a future!

The question is what is your future?

Well it really depends on what you do and how you learn to develope your life now! Let's look at several different scenarios: {we will cover the most important aspects of life}

1) First you need to master you communication skills, which include language, reading, writing and social interaction! If you are derelict in any of these areas you will severely limit your future ability to better you life... Your future will be controlled more by how you can communicate with others, than whatever does on around you! Your attitude is you most important aspect in your life, start there...

2) Next you need to understand that your relationship with Almighty God, through prayer and study! Without knowing what your station in life is, you will go off on many destructive and dead end tangents... It is here you will ask "why did I -------- !" It is a sad commentary to have to always second guess your life efforts! Seek God in your life to give you the perspective, to develop your best future!

3) Most of what you hear and see is about getting to be something grand or popular, or wealthy, or having great looks, or the perfect body, or being someone famous; all of which are just a temporary shell compared to the Eternity you will spend beyond this earthly existence!

*** Certain life skills will take you a long way toward a bright and for-filling future!

Learn to read and communicate effectively with others, find God in your life, then you can work out humility to seek to become a good and faithful servant to all those whom are placed on your pathway of life!

This is what most people miss in this earthly existence; which causes much grief, pain, and dissatisfaction because it is based upon the desire for riches and personal glory! The "more" principle of personal desires and greed; which is where the world operates most of the time! If your future is based on this scenario, then we can see a bleak future with much grief and dissatisfaction! Otherwise if you set yourself free of the world system and seek to be a person who listens then follows through faith in what has been given you, we can see a bright, and satisfying future!

We can only advise you, the choice is yours... Get out of the gangs, Dope, the permissive sexual affairs, plus all the lies, cheating and stealing! Set your future on higher ground, learn to speak proper English {or whatever language}, learn to dress in a modest fashion and not some gang or pop fad style... Learn to be yourself not a member of some lost fad chasing group, who will never have much of a future! HUH!

Healing codes

"Treating humans without the concept of energy is treating
dead matter." -- Albert Szent-Gyorgyi, MD, Nobel Prize
Laureate (1937), Hungary

So if you're going to heal health issues at their root,
you have to heal the energy problem. You have to heal the
destructive frequency in the cells (that are visible
through an MRI) and that is interpreted by a doctor as a
potential cancer cell or Parkinson's disease or whatever
name the problem is given.

Energy medicine is a relatively new frontier in healing
that does not involve the use of pharmaceutical drugs or
conventional medical treatments. The Healing Codes is a
branch of energy medicine, which focuses on the use of the
human energy field for healing. All healing is
accomplished through non-physical, intangible means.

Therefore, something physical (such as a small medical
device) was not necessary to plug the hole in Diane's
heart. I believe it was the energy emitted during the use
of The Healing Codes that caused the hole to close up.

We find that hard to believe because the energy is
invisible and it all seems like magic. And yet if you
think about it, we use microwave ovens and radios that also
utilize invisible waves of energy, and we never question
their validity.

I then wish to reiterate that disease originates from
somewhere NOT physical! We believe disease comes from
intangible and invisible energy patterns that reside in
cellular memories. Therefore, we use an energy-based
healing modality, that is, The Healing Codes, to address
conditions that also originate from energy.

I trust that I've shed some light on the scientific
workings of The Healing Codes and erased the mysticism that
usually surrounds energy therapies.

Again, I wish to invite you to download The Healing Codes
program by going to http://www.TheHealingCodeSolution.com/sp
so that you, too, can experience the healing miracles that
so many people have experienced.

Wishing you the best of health,

What do we control?

Control?

What exactly do you (we) control? Not much in all reality! Most is wishful thinking on our part...

Date: 9/10/2010 06:51:21 GMT

What ever got into our feeble minds that made us (you) think that we could or would control much of anything in this earthly life?

Well lets look at what little we know about this phenomena...

While the world and our human mind try to tell us that we can do anything and control so much of nature and others; it is one of the biggest lies ever brought before us...

All of our God given intelligence plus the freedom of decision; does allow us to consider many things in our life! Some things we can control to a limited extent, while most others are left to chance or at least to our best efforts...

What has happened over the course of history, is that we (you) get to thinking how great we are and become head strong in an attempt to control things in our (your) life! It is the old adage that we get to feeling we (you) are ten feet tall and bullet proof! False assumption!

While mankind has progressed over time due mostly in part to standing as it were on the shoulders of giants {past generations} who have all ready been there and done it... HUH! So we get to feeling how smart we are yet if we had to discover fire every time, we would still be living in a cave some where...

Therefore most of our knowledge is based upon the work or experience of past generations who left us all this cumulative information...

While science, which is the method of study of various disciplines here on earth; it can and has brought many answers; but does not actually change the delaminates of nature...

i.e.: While we have come to understand much about Hurricanes, Volcanoes, Tsunamis and so many other things of nature. we still lack the power to control any of them...

This is much the same with most of the idea many have as to the control of either people or for that fact animals to much more than a very limited extent! Our success rate is dismal as governments and other groups attempt to control humans to any real extent...

With all the knowledge and religious beliefs available there should not be much if any killing, stealing, rape, robbery, shop lifting or abortions... But the real shame of it all is that people do not appear to learn from their mistakes in life! So the real question is what do we have to do to understand how to live in our limited capacity of life!

There are a few things we can control to some extent; the rest are just a cooperative event... Learning when and where to apply our limited knowledge is our strong suit and the best use of our activity!

The truth is we can change very Little, and need to learn how to leave well enough alone, most of the time... There will be moments where you will know when or how to act in certain situations; save all your passions for those special moments... It is not every time you see a nice looking person of the opposite sex or when you heard about a most wonderful deal of a life time... No, it will generally be when you least expect it, perhaps at some low point in your life, and then the opportunity will present itself, most often prayer will precede it!

Learning Diet!

Folks here is some advice from Dr Mercola which can help each of us!

** IQ what does it mean and how can we learn to be better?

I’m sure many of you can come up with personal examples of otherwise intelligent people behaving foolishly. The old adage that “common sense is not so common,” may play a part, as raw IQ scores do not necessarily translate into sensible actions in real life scenarios.

Perhaps “learning how to fail well” is more important in today’s rapidly changing world than simply focusing on IQ scores and test results.

And, by “failing well,” I mean the ability to view “failure” as a means to grow and never stop learning. I believe this is part of gaining “common sense,” and increasing other types of intelligence, such as emotional intelligence that goes beyond simple brain calculations.

Boosting IQ Through Your Diet

Still, there are ways to maintain and even improve your brainpower. Healthy dietary choices can help clear away mental fog and improve your quick-thinking skills.

Here are four foods you’ll want to include in your diet, and one to avoid, to make the most of what you have.

Animal-based omega-3 fats – Your brain is made up of approximately 60 percent fat, mostly DHA and AA (arachidonic acid). AA is best obtained from uncooked dairy products like raw butter and raw cream, whereas DHA is primarily obtained from fish sources (not plant sources like flax seed). Packed with beneficial omega-3 fats including DHA, krill oil and fish oil may reduce inflammation in your brain and offer a protective effect.

Raw, organic vegetables appropriate for your nutritional type -- Little can compare to the nutritional value of organic, raw vegetables, especially if you select them according to your nutritional type.

Specifically, low levels of folic acid, a nutrient found in green leafy vegetables, have been linked to Alzheimer’s disease, and the many antioxidants and phtyochemicals in vegetables will help to keep your mind sharp.

My general recommendation is to eat one pound of vegetables daily for every 50 pounds of body weight. The easiest way to achieve this is be regularly consuming vegetable juice.

However, if you know your nutritional type, then you’ll be able to modify this recommendation to best suit your own personal needs. For instance, if you are a strong protein type (like me), then you really don’t need as many vegetables. As little as half a pound to a pound a day can be sufficient for the typical protein-type adult.

If you find you are more of a protein type then your vegetables would also be oriented more toward lower potassium varieties, like cauliflower, green beans, spinach, asparagus, mushrooms, celery and avocados. Regular lettuces and vegetables like collard greens, kale and Swiss chard are too high in potassium for protein types, and will tend to cause biochemical imbalances.

On the other hand, a carb type may benefit from consuming far more vegetables, and the best varieties would include the collard greens, kale, Swiss chard, and so on, which were not ideal for protein types.

Please note that while I recommend locally-grown, organic vegetables for the greatest benefits, if you can’t find or afford them, or don’t have access to them, don’t use this as an excuse not to eat any vegetables. Eating vegetables, whether they are organic or not, is much better than not eating any vegetables at all.

Raw eggs – Raw, organic, free-range eggs are a phenomenally inexpensive source of high-quality nutrients that many are deficient in, especially high-quality protein and fat.

While it may take some getting used to, this is a simple way to improve your mind and your overall health. Eating cooked eggs will not have the same effect, although the less you cook the egg, the better it will be nutritionally.

I blend raw eggs into my post-exercise, breakfast meal – a mix of Miracle Whey protein and coconut milk. But you could also stir them gently into some vegetable juice or raw milk. (If you’re concerned about salmonella, please review this previous article for information that will relieve your concerns.)

Blueberries -- Not only do blueberries taste good, but they are one of the most potent antioxidant foods there is. Small but densely packed with a variety of potent phytochemcials, blueberries can do wonders to normalize and improve health, and is believed to have direct benefits to your brain. They’ve been shown to actually reverse some of the aging that occurs in your brain.

Blueberries are full of other health-promoting qualities as well, and my only caution for them is to watch how many you eat at once due to their sugar content. Other small, darkly colored berries, like cherries, raspberries, gooseberries and mulberries can provide similar health benefits.

Avoid sugar – For optimal brain performance, knowing what foods to avoid is equally important as knowing what to include, and sugar is definitely one to avoid. High-sugar foods will disrupt your body's homeostasis and insulin levels, which will contribute to disease and brain fog. Some easy ways to avoid sugar in your diet is to cut out soda and candy, but also watch out for less obvious sources like fruit juice.
