LEVEL 1 LESSON 1 of 48
ETERNAL LIFE

One of the most familiar passages of Scripture is John 3:16.
 It seems like everybody knows this verse from a young age, yet I believe it has really been misunderstood and misapplied.

 John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Traditionally, this scripture has been used to teach that Jesus came and died for our
sins so that we wouldn’t perish. As true as this is, this verse is saying that the real purpose of
Jesus coming to this earth and dying for us was so that we could have everlasting life. It just so
happened that our sins were a barrier that stood between us and this everlasting life.
It is true that Jesus did die for our sins, and it is true that if we believe on Jesus, we will
not perish, but there is much more to the Gospel than that. The real message of the Gospel is
that God wants to give you everlasting life. Now let me explain that.

The night before His crucifixion, Jesus was praying, and He said, “This is life eternal, that
they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ” (John 17:3)
This says that everlasting life is knowing the Father, the only true God, and knowing Jesus
Christ, whom He has sent. That’s what everlasting life is. Many people think that everlasting life
is living forever. Well, every person lives forever. It’s a misconception to think that when a person
dies they cease to exist. The spirit and the soul go back to God. The body decays in the grave. The
truth is, every person who has ever lived on the face of the earth will continue to live in spirit form.
So, to say that eternal life is living forever is not the whole truth—everybody lives forever. This
verse makes it very clear that eternal life with God is not automatically given to everyone.

Some people would say, “Eternal life is living forever in heaven versus living forever
in hell.” But eternal life is just what Jesus said in John 17:3—to know God and Jesus Christ.
It’s more than an intellectual knowledge. This word “know” is used throughout Scripture to
describe the most intimate, personal relationship that you can have.

The real purpose of salvation is not living forever in heaven, as great as that will be.
 The real purpose of salvation is to have intimacy—a personal relationship with the Lord God.
 There are multitudes of people who have cried out to God for the forgiveness of their sins but have
never had intimacy with God as a goal.


LESSON 1 ETERNAL LIFE

By not explaining the real purpose of salvation, we are doing a disservice to the Gospel.
When we present salvation as something that deals with just spiritual things that will only
benefit us in the future, in eternity, we are not helping people. There are some people who are
living in such a literal hell right now on earth. Many are depressed, living in poverty, dealing
with strife, rejection, hurt, and failed marriages. People are just trying to survive day to day.
They are just trying to keep their heads above water. By making salvation something that deals
only with the future, many people put off that decision because they are too busy just trying to
survive today.

The truth is that Jesus not only came to affect our eternal destinies so that we can live
forever in heaven in blessing instead of the punishment and curse of hell, but Jesus also came to
deliver us from this present evil world (Gal. 1:4). Jesus came to give you intimacy and a personal
relationship with God the Father today.

Jesus came to bring you back into close, personal relationship with Him. Jesus loves you.
Jesus wants to know you personally. Jesus wants to give you a quality of life that is greater than
anything you could obtain through any other source.

Jesus put it this way in John 10:10: “The thief [speaking of Satan] comets not, but for to
steal, and to kill and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it
more abundantly” (brackets mine).

 God wants to give you eternal life.
God wants to give you abundant life, and I believe that you need that today—that you want that. Christ died not only to forgive your sins, but to bring you close to him.
If you don’t know the Lord, you need to know Him for that purpose.

 If you’ve already been born again, you need to go beyond just getting your sins forgiven and enter into everlasting life with the Father.

FACTS ABOUT ETERNAL LIFE

A. The purpose of the Gospel is eternal life (John 3:16).

B. Eternal life is knowing God (John 17:3).

C. Knowing God is an intimate relationship (1 Cor. 6:16-17).

D. Eternal life is available now (1 John 5:12).

E. God wants a personal relationship with you (Rev. 3:20).

 ETERNAL LIFE

1. Read John 3:16. What was the purpose of God sending
Jesus into the world?

JOHN 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that he gave
his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.


2. The biblical usage of the word “know” means to have an
intimate, personal relationship with a person (Gen. 4:1).
Read John 17:3. What is eternal/everlasting life,
according to this verse?


GENESIS 4:1 – And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she
conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from
the LORD.

JOHN 17:3 – And this is life eternal [eternal life], that they
might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ
(brackets mine).


3. Read 1 John 5:11-12. According to these verses, when
does eternal, or everlasting, life begin?

1 JOHN 5:11-12 – And this is the record, that God hath
given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. [12] He that
hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God
hath not life.

4. Read John 10:10. What kind of life did Jesus come to
give us?

JOHN 10:10 – The thief comes not, but for to steal,
and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have
life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

5. Explain in your own words the attributes of an
abundant life.

6. Do you believe that God sent His Son Jesus into the
world to die for the sins of the world, thereby giving us

New Israeli Cancer Vaccine

New Israeli Cancer Vaccine Triggers Response In 90% Of Cancer Types

There’s no doubt that cancer is one of the world’s most vicious diseases. For decades, scientists have been trying to find a cure for cancer, a terminal illness that kills 8 million people worldwide every year. With 14 million new cancer cases diagnosed around the globe every year, according to the World Health Organization, the need for prevention is vital. Now, an Israeli biotechnology company is developing a vaccine for cancer, which is not designed to treat the disease – but to prevent it from returning.
Vaxil BioTherapeutics, based in Nes Ziona, Israel, has spent over half a decade developing ImMucin, a prophylactic cancer vaccine, which can trigger a response in about 90 percent of all types of cancer, according to the company.
Immunotherapy: A hybrid cross between a vaccine and a drug
“Vaxil is developing a drug to keep the cancer from coming back,” Julian Levy, Vaxil’s CFO, tells NoCamels.com. “We are trying to harness the natural power of the immune system to fight against cancer by seeking out cancer cells and destroying them.”
Levy explains that ImMucin is not a replacement for traditional cancer treatments such as chemotherapy or radiation. Rather, the company is targeting a different stage in the patient’s battle against cancer, specifically the early stages of the detection, as well as during remission. That’s why, unfortunately, the drug won’t be helpful to many cancer patients – specifically those who are in advanced stages of the disease – because it requires a relatively healthy body to be fully effective.

Even though ImMucin is a vaccine, it is given to people who are already sick, unlike traditional vaccines. So, while ImMucin’s scientific mechanism is one of a vaccine, from the point of view of the patient, it acts exactly like a drug that has physiological effects when introduced to the body.

“Many preventative cancer vaccines today are not actual vaccines against cancer,” Levy says. “Young women can take a vaccine for the HPV virus, which doesn’t combat cancer; it’s a vaccine against a virus that has been proven to lead to a more serious cervical cancer.”
Training the immune system to attack cancerous cells
ImMucin works by stimulating a part of the immune system and teaching it to attack certain cells with certain markers that indicate the presence of cancer. When the drug is introduced during an early stage of cancer, the hope is that as a patient’s cancer begins to creep back, the immune system is trained appropriately to know which cells to destroy and which to leave be.
This immune response has been consistent throughout Vaxil’s clinical trials on the vaccine over the past few years. The company ran trials exclusively on Multiple Myeloma patients until January 2014, when it began trials on breast cancer patients.

Vaxil’s current switch from successful myeloma trials to breast cancer trials would certainly turn some heads in the biotech community. That’s because typically, when a drug has this much success on a certain type of cancer, a company would provide more resources to finish the trials (through Phase III) and get it to market – it wouldn’t delve into new projects.

Vaxil’s most recent valuation is just under $3 million. In the US, clinical trials and ongoing research and development can cost hundreds of millions of dollars per drug, and it’s very possible that Vaxil doesn’t have the cash to push ImMucin to the market at this point. However, Levy is confident that ImMucin will be on the market by the end of this decade.

Vaxil BioTheraputics has promising technology and initial clinical success, especially since ImMucin has the potential to treat 90 percent of cancers found in patients. Certainly, this kind of immunotherapy for an illness previously thought of as incurable, gives hope to millions of patients and their families.

 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God! Our God is mighty! His throne sits up high, he builds up and he tears down! He brings low the plans of men that are against him! For they shall not prosper in the end! Surely the day of the Lord is at hand!!!

How to reach those who believe
Israel is the big bad wolf?

This week I had an experience that was amazing for me. I spoke to a couple of college classes, on Human Rights vs Multiculturalism. Perhaps surprisingly, the overwhelming majority was on the side of human rights. In other words, if a culture was not in favor of human rights such as male-female equality, racial equality, sexual orientation equality, freedom of religion, most of the students considered human rights more important than valuing the culture.

That sounds great. At least they weren't on the "multiculturalism above all else" bandwagon.
On the other hand, in both classes, Israel and Gaza came up - and both classes were overwhelmingly on the side of the people in Gaza, supposedly horribly oppressed by Israel. Over and over, the students mentioned the 2000 dead in Gaza vs the less than 100 dead in Israel.
It didn't matter that the difference was because the Israelis had invested in bomb shelters, rather than tunnels to murder civilians.
It didn't matter that a terror attack had been planned by Hamas against Israel, aiming for 10,000 dead Israeli civilians, including kindergarten children. (Why didn't it matter? Because it had failed, and so the people were alive.)
It didn't matter that Israel sent out warnings - leaflets, phones calls, text messages - before bombing.
It didn't matter that in Gaza, people - women and children especially - were used as human shields, while Israel did all it could to protect everyone in Israel.
It didn't matter that Israel was the only democracy surrounded by a whole pile of Muslim countries - there are 56 Muslim countries in the world, I believe, and a whole lot right around Israel.
It didn't matter that 99.9% of the Middle East was Muslim-controlled, and only one-tenth of one percent was under Jewish control.

What mattered was that there were Palestinians with keys to homes that were in Israeli territory. Therefore any violent attack on Israel was justified.

I said to the students, that if Israel didn't have a right to exist (according to them), then any country set up in a similar way or through worse means - through violence, for instance - must also not have the right to exist. So all those Muslim countries - which had been Zoroastrian, Buddhist, Christian, Jewish and so on before violent attacks by Muslims - must also have no right to exist.
No, no, no, they countered, that happened too long ago to count.
One response could be: In that case, how long does Israel have to exist before it also has the right to continue existing?
But my biggest question was: how could I get through to the students? 
was there any way to get through?
{ No - not if they will not even consider the truth!}

One thought (a thought I've had since the classes): priorities. Human rights are a priority, or so they said when they put human rights above valuing different cultures.
Hamas-controlled Gaza denies human rights - like to freedom of religion, freedom of political allegiance (just think of the murder of anyone suspected of being a collaborator with Israel), male-female equality, gay rights. Another human right may be to education that does not teach hatred - an education definitely not available in Gaza.

If Gaza - and the rest of Muslim-controlled areas in the Middle East - had marvelous human rights, then maybe one could talk about the lack of need for Israel.
But if the priority is human rights …

In that case, right now, Israel has human rights. The other countries don't.
So right now, the destruction of Israel would not only mean mass murder of Jews - and most likely other non-Muslims - who could not get out, but it also would mean the end of any place with human rights in the Middle East.

Of course, by Islamic standards, hanging gays, murdering anyone who leaves Islam, lack of religious freedom - that's all great.
But the students claimed to be for "Western" human rights.
I'm sure they haven't considered what would happen to the human rights of those in Israel - including the 20% of the population that is Muslim - if Israel ever became Muslim-controlled.


And one other thought has just crossed me mind. It's about Holocaust survivors. Families murdered. Near starvation. 6,000,000 (6 million) murdered Jews. And then lives rebuilt, as well as possible. (I know there has remained much inner damage.) But almost 70 years later, they have - so many, anyway - lived rich, full, creative lives. I think of my neighbor, who became the head of a university department though she spent years as a teenager in a concentration camp - and who married and had a child - and is such a caring and considerate person.
Quite some contrast to the rage and hatred of many of those in Gaza.


A couple of days later, out on a walk, I came to yet another response: Get real, all of you who pick on Israel! I mean, you talk about Israel's disproportionate response in the bombing of Gaza, after thousands of bombs had been sent from Gaza into Israel. How about looking at how your response is truly disproportionate! How much outrage are you expressing about Islamic State?                                                                                                                                    
How much are you calling for government intervention to take in those fleeing?
 Where is your outrage about a group displacing and murdering and raping and taking over areas much bigger than Gaza?
They attack and invade - and no one has rained bombs on them for years! Where is your concern, your horror, your attention?
And how much are you speaking out against, for instance, Boko Haram - that kidnaps, rapes, kills and sells Christian girls?

That is probably my strongest response: Get real, all of you picking on Israel, as if it were the biggest human rights violator in the universe. Target the big abusers - if you dare!


Two things stand out for me in my experience with the two classes. One: feeling the wall of anti-Israel feeling. Second: trying to figure out what might work to get through the wall, or bypass the wall, or vault over it. I feel like Houdini, trying to get out of yet another seemingly impossible situation.

A PRAYER FOR 5776

As we approach Rosh Hashana, the people of Israel need to recognize how lucky we are.
True, today, we find ourselves largely alone, set apart from our traditional partners in the Western world. But standing alone isn’t always the worst option. Today it is certainly not the worst option.

Over the past several years, we have witnessed the growing radicalization and fragmentation of the societies of neighboring lands. Sunnis fight Shi’ites and one another. Minority populations are slaughtered, enslaved and oppressed. Regimes fall, rise and fall again.

 Today, every Arab society is either in danger or at war. And in almost every case, it isn’t good fighting evil but varying degrees of evil and barbarism fighting one another.

From the PLO to Islamic State, through Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Assad regime in Syria, the ayatollahs of Iran, Hezbollah, the Erdogan regime in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and every single actor in the region resorts to some degree of torture and oppression.

And all do so while quoting the Koran.

Israel has responded rationally to the carnage at our doorstep.

We help where we can. For instance, we are assisting the Egyptian regime in its war against jihadist forces in Sinai. We support the Hashemite regime in Jordan. We provide humanitarian assistance to the victims of the bloodbath in Syria.

And we are securing our borders.
After we finished building the border fence with Egypt, we built one along the Syrian border. Now we are fencing off the border with Jordan.
These fences may not make good neighbors. But they do keep the bad ones at bay.
Similar rationality is in short supply today in Europe and among the smart set in America. Westerners are increasingly at a loss in the face of the break-up of societies throughout the Arab world.

Consider for instance Europe’s disoriented, confused response to the massive wave of refugees from Syria now washing onto its shores. Perhaps the most notable aspect of the unfolding drama is that it appears the Europeans only just realized that Syria has fallen apart.

The war in Syria broke out nearly five years ago.
Hundreds of thousands have already been killed in the conflict. Ten million people – nearly half of Syria’s pre-war population – have been displaced. For the past four years, millions of Syrians have been living in refugee camps in neighboring states – first and foremost in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan.

Most of the refugees now arriving in Europe are coming from these camps, rather than directly from Syria. Rather than help them either resettle in the lands to which they fled, or take action on the ground in Syria to enable them to return to their homes, the Europeans largely ignored them.
Part of the reason Europe has ignored Syria, of course, is indifference.

 So long as it’s happening “over there,” the Europeans really couldn’t care less.
 {which is exactly how most of the Upper Class view it}

But indifference alone does not explain how Europe has been taken by surprise by a humanitarian disaster of the magnitude now unfolding at its borders.

Identity politics have played a key role in shaping Europe’s failed Middle East politics – in Syria and throughout the increasingly destabilized Islamic world.
Identity politics distinguish between various groups based on how they fall on a spectrum of “oppression.”
Western nations, led by Europe and the US, are all classified as “oppressors,” due to their “imperialist” past.

The Islamic world writ large is classified as “oppressed.”

All groups that receive “oppressed” status are immune from judgment, much less resistance from those who fall on the side of the “oppressors.”

Given this taxonomy, Europeans along with the sectors of American society that have embraced identity policies are incapable of recognizing, much less taking action against, radical Islamists.

Those who are oppressed by the “oppressed” of the Islamic world – the Yazidis, Christians and Kurds, for instance – can receive no sustained protection from their jihadist oppressors by the “Muslim-oppressing” West.

The immunity identity politics confers on “oppressed” population groups adheres even when those groups themselves engage in oppression.

There is, however, one group in the Islamic world that identity politics do not immunize from Western opposition. The West can oppose Arab regimes that wish to cooperate with the West in fighting against radical Islamists.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi for instance is a member of this group. Ever since he overthrew the US-supported Muslim Brotherhood regime two years ago, the US has kept him at arm’s length. Washington has imposed a partial weapons embargo and denied US support for its war against jihadist forces in Sinai.

Then there is Libya. Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi collaborated with the West against al-Qaida from 2004 until he was assassinated in 2011.

That year Gaddafi was overthrown by European forces backed by the US. The West overthrew Gaddafi in order “to prevent genocide.”

The chaos that ensued in Libya after his overthrow has in turn enabled al-Qaida and Islamic State to take over large swathes of the country.

The West has had nothing to say about this turn of events.

The tyranny of identity politics is not limited to its conferral of immunity on jihadists. Identity politics are a comprehensive, totalitarian world view that dictates responses in all areas of human endeavor.

For instance, the “Black Lives Matter” group in the US, which sanctions the murder of policemen, is given a pass by adherents of identity politics. Its followers view all blacks as oppressed. Police, who are perceived as agents of Western oppression, cannot expect sympathy when they are murdered.

In Britain, adherents of identity politics not only want to see Britain out of the Middle East, they support their country’s unilateral nuclear disarmament, because as they see it, Britain is unworthy of nuclear weapons due to its imperialist past.

A testament to the power of identity politics in Britain is the rise of Jeremy Corbyn. The radical Labor parliamentarian is expected to win the race for leadership of the party on Saturday.
Corbyn is a shining example of the type of leader produced by identity politics. He opposes British power. He is a foe of free markets and the British military. He supports Hamas and Hezbollah. He has led anti-Israel demonstrations and conferences organized by Islamist organizations. He has contributed to an organization led by a Holocaust denier and participated in its conferences.
And of course, he opposes Israel and Jews who support it.

That’s the thing of it. Identity politics define both Israel and Jews in the Diaspora as “oppressors.”
Many Israelis as well as Jewish organizations in the Diaspora have been trying for years to prove that this is untrue. Israel is after all the victim of both European and Islamic imperialists. Zionism is a national liberation movement.

But these protestations have made no impression on anyone. And this is to be expected. It isn’t possible to change Israel’s classification on the oppression scale, because the scale is completely arbitrary. Even worse, every attempt to question the arbitrary scale simply induces more hostility on the part of its adherents. Questioning whether oppressed groups are in fact oppressed is itself an act of oppression and further proof that those who question are indeed oppressors.

In other words, identity politics are a closed intellectual universe immune from all doubts, and logic.
According to media reports, British Jewry is in a state of panic at the prospect of Corbyn’s imminent takeover of the Labor Party. They understand that if he does win on Saturday, any residual influence they have over the second largest party in Britain will disappear. And the consequences of this loss of even a semblance of power will not be long in coming.

This week it was reported that during the past year the UK has seen a 93 percent rise in anti-Semitic attacks. This week’s brutal assault on a group of Orthodox Jewish teens in Manchester by three Muslim Jew-haters was just a particularly brutal example of what is now a daily phenomenon in Britain.

The violent demonstration against Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu outside 10 Downing Street on Wednesday was similarly to be expected. Britain’s kid glove treatment of Muslim violence and racism empowered protesters to trample on the Israeli flag, and call for the destruction of Israel and for Netanyahu to be killed just meters away from where he was meeting with Prime Minister David Cameron.

As for the US, identity politics control the lives of university students from the moment they enter the gates of their campus until the moment they leave them. It is due to this stranglehold that anti-Semitism is now rampant in American academia.

Quite simply a university that subscribes to identity politics cannot accept that Jews are persecuted by the groups it has deemed oppressed.

Identity politics also has significant influence in left-wing ideological circles outside the classroom.
The most obvious testament to their power is President Barack Obama’s radical shift of US Middle East strategy.

The Obama administration’s animosity toward Israel is part and parcel of the world view that brought it to support Gaddafi’s overthrow and the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. So, too, the administration’s refusal to take action to overthrow the Assad regime or destroy Islamic State in Syria and Iraq on the one hand, and its facilitation of Iran’s rise to regional hegemony and nuclear empowerment on the other, is a clear indication that identity politics play a key role in determining the administration’s foreign policy.

*** This gives the Obama Administration a two faced approach - just like the rest of his political  decisions.  A regime with plenty of wiggle  room to fit any way they want to go!

But there is still reason to hope that things can change in America. The fact is that two-thirds of Americans oppose Obama’s nuclear pact with the mullahs and support Israel. Obama has only been able to promote his radical agenda by pretending it isn’t his agenda.

As Israel seeks to secure and advance its interests in the identity politics-riven West, we must understand that our ability to impact the views of the other side is limited. The moment a society embraces identity politics, its members become incapable of rationally pursuing their own interests.
And consequently, they are lost to Israel.

As far as securing our relations with the US is concerned, we must take every opportunity to strengthen those who fight against identity politics and for rationality and reasoned analysis of reality.
And while we pray for their success, we need to recognize that this is America’s fight to win or to lose. We cannot fight it for the American people.

And so, just as we build fences along our borders, we need to prepare for the worst in order to secure our survival.

Israel’s greatest strategic asset is our willingness to see things for what they are. It is my prayer for the coming year that our vision becomes ever sharper and that through our moral and strategic clarity we rally the Americans and other like-minded nations to our side in our fight for ourselves and for the noblest attributes of humanity.     "{} & *** " were added by Blogger!

Live the truth...

What is meant by "the Truth?"

Truth is most often used to mean being in accord with fact or reality, or fidelity to an original or to a standard or ideal.

 Truth may also often be used in modern contexts to refer to an idea of "truth to self," or authenticity.

The commonly understood opposite of truth is falsehood, which, correspondingly, can also take on a logical, factual, or ethical meaning.

"What is the Truth?"  This question has been argued ever since the Garden of Eden!
Mainly by everyone attempting to prove their own point of view.

 Therefore in " knowing the Truth " - we must look beyond the general appearance and base assertions and toward the spiritual qualities which is not evident at the moment.  
Because the appearance of anything refers only to the outer aspect of a thing or to that which is visible. 
Yet the scriptures says:
" Judge not according to the appearance..."

It takes careful thought to discriminate between true and false -
 because false things  are often cleverly disguised and presented to our senses as being true! (Which is where most if not all lies originate!)

Every person has a God given intelligence with an intuitive perception which distinguishes between true and false, in all phases of their life!
** Unless they have given it up and sold out to the evil system of Satan which operates here upon the earth today!

Thus to know the truth in situations or life in general; we need to use part of our Spiritual Unfoldment which is where we can gain greater Understanding making it easy to direct our thinking!

 Living the Truth, as consistently as possible, improves everything in our world - including our facial expression... 
 Have you ever known a person whose very countenance seemed radiant with light and whose presence gave you a spiritual uplift?
 Then you would be seeing the true Inner Light of that one, and you being uplifted by the Truth, as it manifested through a human channel!

The Truth has always existed - but we have not always understood how to apply it in solving the problems of life!

 Because we have not always been free; we have been imprisoned by our lack of knowledge and understanding! 

 We must KNOW THE TRUTH and Live the Truth - or we will live the consequences...

It is our Inter Self, which is always spiritually minded, and seeks to guide the Outer (or personal) Self. When the outer self disregards that Inner Guidance, then life becomes chaotic, and we are imprisoned by our own fears and beliefs.

" To be spiritually minded is Life and Peace."  Romans 8:6

In other words : to be spiritually minded means that we should Know the Truth about persons, places, and things or situations regardless of existing appearances!

We are to " hold fast to that which is good." 1 Thess 5:21
If we keep our thoughts centered upon God-like belief; then no matter how difficult or impossible it may seem at any particular moment; you will be able to follow the Truth of God' s Word!

 
  The Truth may be defined as the Christ Consciousness, or as the Bible describes Him as the great "I AM." 

 Long ago this question of Truth was answered; by the words of the greatest Teacher that the world ever known: 

 " I AM the way, the Truth and the Life. "  John14:6

With Hussein Obama busily engaged in peddling the benefits of suicide to an already anesthetized American public as the response of choice to the non-issue of global warming, most of our country is unaware as to the level of deception and outright thievery to which he and his equally corrupt cohorts are engaged.

Obama frequently declares the science to be settled on the issue when in fact nothing could be further from the truth. The science is in actuality deliberately being altered and manipulated by the greedy, power-mad alarmists in their efforts to influence public opinion in their favor.


In his book Eco-Tyranny, San Francisco Meteorologist, radio personality and occasional guest host of the Michael Savage Show, Brian Sussman, encapsulated some of the more blatantly dishonest distortions of the data collection process. These dishonest changes result in distorted data which is then manipulated to provide the basis for false conclusions. The warming hysterics then make false proclamation based upon the doctored data in hopes of convincing us that their claims are factual and that unless we submit to their domination and pilferage under the UN, we have lit the fuse of our own planetary time bomb.

We all witnessed Obama making the claims as he rolled out the new EPA “Clean Energy Plan” that fourteen of the warmest years on record occurred during the last fifteen years, or since the year 2000. That was a blatant lie; he knew it is a blatant lie, the scientists assembled in the room knew it as well. For Marxists the end justifies the means, and they are determined to cripple this nation. There has been no warming of the planet for over eighteen years but that only matters if they get caught.


On page 80 Sussman notes that if NASA and NOAA were honest in their approach to the issue, they would simply rely upon satellite readings which cover every corner of the globe and indicate indisputably that there has been no warming since 1995. That’s the problem; the actual evidence doesn’t support their premise, so it must be “corrected.”

The book is a wealth of information, but eight bullet points on pages 80 and 81 draw particular attention and document the fraudulent means by which these “trusted government” agencies that we all grew up with, that got us to the moon and kept us informed about hurricanes, now manipulate data in service to their regime-mandated agenda.

Susman’s eight points are:

• 1) NASA and NOAA (aka ‘the federal government’) are now inputting less (notice less - not more) temperature reporting stations in determining the global average (they used data from nearly 6,000 stations in 1970, and now rely on about 1,500 today).
•  
• 2) Among reporting stations omitted are those in higher latitudes, higher elevations (which are cooler and would swinging the data from warm to cool) and rural cooler locations (away from the artificial warming found in cities).
•  
• 3) The feds are “correcting” temperatures from older records downward, to create the impression of a current warming trend.
•  
• 4) They are not properly compensating for urban growth and land-use changes that can produce localized warming known as the urban heat island effect. The feds are essentially cherry-picking thermometers from reporting stations sited at busy airports and other artificially warm locales.
•  
• 5) NOAA now collects data from only 35 sites in Canada, down from 600 in the 1970s.
•  
• 6) After 1990, NOAA tripled the number of Canadian reporting stations at lower (warmer) elevations while reducing by half the number at elevations above 300 feet.
•  
• 7) Globally, reporting stations in the Andes and Bolivia have been omitted from the record.
•  
• 8) Only 25 percent of Russia’s reporting stations are now included in the global temperature calculations.
•  

He notes how in spite of that clear data manipulation plus the an increase of six billion people on the planet, the temperature has only risen .7 (that is 7/10's) of a degree Celsius since 1850, with most of that warming occurring before 1940.

That insignificant increase came in spite of the introduction of planes, trains, automobiles, natural gas and coal for home heating and electrical production, all of the benefits of modern life that they would have us believe are dooming our grandchildren to extinction. (Really?)

There’s a reason why Obama doesn’t allow a debate to take place, he knows he’d lose. Worse than that, he’d be exposed as the fraud that he is. It’s much safer to make false grand proclamations from behind a podium.

It’s also much more to his liking to dictate and follow that up narcissistically by taking selfies in front of a glacier.    It’s more his style to enjoy the protections of Secret Service Agents while imagining himself a manly, tough-guy survivalist, on his mini-vacation, roughing it without the benefit of his golf clubs and unburdened by a conscience.

What law ever stopped crime yet?

Just stop and tell me of any law that ever stopped crime or wrong doing?

 You can not because Laws do not stop people - You must come to change their hearts and minds to accomplish a positive personal change!

 So you can make all the laws you want to  - but in the long run it only sets up some conditions which may limit the crime or other activity! 
But it will never stop it!

Examples; murder, robbery, rape, and prostitution have been on the books for thousands of years and it is still happening!

Why is this relevant?

 Because it goes against the lies the anti-gunners constantly feed us.

On one hand, they tell us they only want "common sense" restrictions, like universal background checks. Then, every time there's a shooting, they come out and say we need to take action, we need to stop this, we need to prevent these shootings, they won't be deterred by the evil NRA. And in every instance, none of the laws they promote would have even ARGUABLY prevented the shooting.

Every mass shooter either went through the background check, or stole the gun. So explain how making me do a background check if I lend my rifle to my neighbor is going to prevent these things?

We're not going to convince everyone. But the least we can do is point out the outright lies or histrionic illogical actions of the gun-control kool-aid drinkers.

You want to stop a gun control argument from one of these people after the shooting? Simply ask the person, "Okay, so which law that Obama or Feinstein or Bloomberg wanted could have prevented this?"
