Fear, Shame & Guilt!
Have replaced the key attributes of mankind; Innocence, Dominion and Acceptance!
Date: 11/22/2008 13:18:22
Why do we feel weak, lost, and unaccepted?
Many today know of GOD; but do not have any relationship with HIM!
" But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he can not understand them, because they are spiritually apprised!" I Cor. 2:14 KJV. a True-ism
The term " Knowledge " in the western world especially is just a collection of data. Some of the negative emotions people experience due to the lack of a fuller understanding and better relationship with GOD are:
1) Fear of almost everything... We are living in a period of great anxiety.
2) Shame and guilt, when dominated by these emotions, people tend to cover their inner self thus self disclosure is not likely to happen.
One of the main contributions of these feelings is the wave of depression which doubled between 1985 to 1995 and has shown a tenfold increase in the twentieth century in the USA... Much of this is based on the fact that we have too many choices today...
With so much information available in the past hundred years, people tend to become befuddled or over whelmed by the sheer mass of data... We get advice from almost everywhere, do this, or go here, or buy this, or say that, then all the government regulations and laws... It has become a place where you can know a lot but not be available to respond because you do not know which is the right or correct path for you!
The transitional effects of mankind's key attributes; Innocence, Dominion and Acceptance, have become three almost continuous needs in our lives today...
1) Innocence has been replaced for the most part by guilt and shame; which causes the need for a sense of true self worth needs to be restored!
2) Dominion has been replaced by weakness ans a sense of total helplessness; we therefore have a need for strength and self-control evident in the world today.
3) Acceptance was replaced by various forms of rejection; Which makes us want to belong to something, even if it is wrong.
Apart from the Holy Spirit in your life, the greatest power you possess is your ability to choose! Our sense of worth is not a question of our giftedness, talents, intelligence, strength or beauty; it is your sense of personal worth as a child of God!
The human soul was not designed to function as a sovereign master. We are not masters of our fates or even Captains of our souls! Every temptation to live your life independent of God's plan is a one way path toward destruction and loss. Even our best efforts at self control, beyond our personal choice; without the Grace of God, leads only to some type of self perfectionism or a form of legalism which will result in self destruction!
"Start to seek God in your life and find out who you really are, not who the world wants you to be!" a True-ism
My life has been to seek the Absolute Truth of God; to help others find the real purpose of their lives... Attempt to make this or where ever I am; better for my having been there! Amen!

Proton beam on Women's health
Woman's health issue!
Proton beam therapy... Ladies Check it out!

Here is a good article on women's health:
Dear Reader,
I know four women who have received radiation treatment for breast cancer.
Unfortunately, I expect you can probably make a similar claim.
That's why the news of a new breast cancer study is so disturbing on two counts: 1) each one of us is likely to have more friends treated with radiation for breast cancer in the future, and 2) each of these friends will likely be at higher risk of developing cancer in the opposite breast.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Handle with care
------------------------------------------------------------------
Radiation is lethal. In fact, Marie Curie – the scientist who discovered radium and directed the first studies in which radiation was used to treat cancer – died from radiation exposure.
In the seven decades since Curie's death, we've become so accustomed to the use of radiation therapy that many people may not even be aware of the dangers linked to radiation's routine use.
In a recent Dutch study, researchers at the Netherlands Cancer Institute examined post-treatment medical records for more than 7,200 subjects who received radiation therapy for breast cancer. Results showed that younger women with a family history of breast cancer who received radiation after a lumpectomy were three and a half times more likely to develop contralateral breast cancer – cancer in the opposite breast.
The Dutch team also report that women under the age of 45 who received radiation after a lumpectomy were 1.5 times more likely to develop contralateral breast cancer compared to women who received post-mastectomy radiation.
In the Journal of Clinical Oncology, researchers wrote: "This finding should be taken into account when advising breast radiation…to young patients with breast cancer."
------------------------------------------------------------------
Beware business as usual
------------------------------------------------------------------
When a breast cancer patient undergoes lumpectomy or mastectomy, her doctor will almost always recommend radiation as a cautionary measure to kill cancer cells that may not have been caught by initial treatments.
So…what's not quite right with this picture?
I received an e-mail about this study from HSI Panelist Allan Spreen, M.D., who had this to say about radiation and x-rays: "It's never been argued that x-rays cause cancer in living tissue. There even was an original outcry about 'therapeutic' radiation doses for just that reason. Even the medical profession has never argued the issue – they just maintain that the dose is low enough that the carcinogenic effects are too low to be significant (e.g., "You get as much x-rays from the sun..." etc., blah, blah. In fact, no x-rays from the sun reach the earth's surface).
"The party line is that the newer machines use less x-ray exposure. However, nobody will go on record as saying x-rays don't cause cancer – it's been known since the earliest days of roentgenology.
"As an aside, that's why I never let any of my athletes go to a chiropractor who insists on x-rays of the spine – young female athletes already have (from birth) ALL the eggs they're ever going to make, so every x-ray of the pelvis is re-frying the same eggs, over and over..."
------------------------------------------------------------------
Tight target
------------------------------------------------------------------
So if you're a cancer patient, what should you do if your doctor recommends radiation? Ask about proton beam therapy.
In the November issue of the HSI Members Alert, Managing Editor Melissa Hickle discusses proton beam – an innovation that tightens control of radiation treatment. A recent study suggests this therapy significantly reduces risk of secondary cancers.

Dear FairTax supporters,
Here are four things you can do to save the nation now:
1. Make a contribution the FairTax cause
2. Tell at least two friends about the FairTax now
3. Post a FairTax widget or banner
4. Check out our 2008 Election Guide
At the heart of the financial meltdown now bedeviling Americans is a simple and profoundly ignored fact that does not require an advanced degree in economics to understand: Our government spends more than it takes in—a lot more.
Sure, regulators could have done a better job but, in truth, politicians at every level have frustrated attempts to blow the whistle on bad loans, bad reporting and bad ethics. Why? Because politicians have been buying our votes with our money—and our future earnings—for a long time. And they don't want any interference from those they are "helping."
It's not just the naked bribes represented by "earmarks" for hometown voters; it is new entitlement programs like the prescription drug benefit, new rules governing the behavior of favored banks and investment houses and a headlong rush to buy the votes of the poor by guaranteeing home ownership, irrespective of one's financial ability to repay a loan. Lest we forget, let's also add up all the special tax breaks for favored contributors that have bloated income tax code rules to 67,500 pages. It's a bi-partisan betrayal of our future cloaked as concern for the common good.
Although our nation was founded on the principle that the citizen was sovereign, government spending increases and more and more taxes taken from our earnings, savings and investments have effectively transformed the American citizen into a serf working another's land for the privilege of taking a fraction of the fruits of his or her own labor.
Just Trust Us
"Trust us," we are told. "We have the best interests of the nation at heart." Citizens are now left with no rational choice to protect savings, college plans, and investments but to accept the new aristocracies' trillion dollar picking of our pockets to prop up institutions that must function. It is not the first time in recent years that we have accepted the grasping hand of the federal government in our wallets to avert a disaster not of our making.
In 1983 a "Blue Ribbon" panel of similar leaders including Alan Greenspan, Daniel Patrick Moynihan and others "saved" Social Security from another big collapse by dramatically raising taxes on earnings of up to $97,500 annually. The promise, then, was that Baby Boomers would actually "pre-fund" their own retirement with astoundingly increased taxes, decades ahead of time. It was also promised as relief to the coming generations so they would be free of crippling taxes. Sounded good.
Lo and behold, the trillions of dollars taken in since then—far exceeding promised payments to senior citizens—have since been spent on everything else. Turns out, that it was nothing more than a new tax levied on those with earnings below $97,500 a year so executive and legislative branch office holders could have more of our money to spend extravagantly on "us" so they could win new terms in office. The FICA payroll tax has become a major factor in keeping the poor that way, retarding new business growth and keeping middle-class earners from moving up. Worst, it also turns out that our children and grandchildren will, in fact, still be burdened an ever-growing and mind-numbing national debt AND unbelievably high FICA taxes to support their parents.
In yet another example of playing fast and loose with politics and our money, 1986 saw Congress reject the tax policies of the Reagan administration and as consequence, the Savings and Loan industry collapsed. Turns out the definition of the tax value of real estate holdings had been changed overnight by the House Ways and Means Committee and banks no longer met liquidity rules. That politically inspired cat fight cost American taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars. And worse, we didn't learn.
It is past time--way past time--for hometown America to save America from our well-intentioned but criminally incompetent, at best, and cynically corrupted , at worst, national leadership. Do we have a moment to lose? Do we really need any more examples of how the new aristocracy can—and will—destroy the pursuit of happiness?
The reform that can save the nation and restore our identity as citizens who have empowered and limited government (instead of the other way around) is called the FairTax.
Because the FairTax allows every American to take home everything that is earned without any federal withholding, millions of distressed homeowners could actually afford home mortgage payments. The elimination of FICA taxes eliminates the highly regressive Social Security and Medicate tax but the FairTax provides a far broader stream of revenue into these faltering programs. Because the FairTax eliminates all exemptions, gimmicks and loopholes, Congress would be removed from the ability to buy votes with tax giveaways and billionaires pay taxes when they spend money. Because the FairTax makes nearly all federal government taxes entirely transparent, the sovereign citizen can know the score and put the brakes on extravagant new spending. Because the FairTax eliminates the price advantage now enjoyed by overseas producers, American jobs won't be leaving our shores. In fact, because the FairTax makes the USA the most favorable tax environment in the world, we can expect trillions of dollars of investment rushing into the US economy. With the FairTax, our money is ours first and only secondly devoted to government. Savings growth, investments and business decisions are guided by opportunity and real progress instead of tax avoidance tactics.
We've lost more than $2 trillion of our retirement savings in a week's time and our kid's future at college is in serious jeopardy. This didn't happen by accident but at the hands of the very same people who have given the FairTax a cold shoulder. Those candidates and incumbents of either party who would spend our future earnings to stay in office and who reject the FairTax for similarly self-interested reasons now need a strong reminder from voters about whose offices they occupy. Please pay attention to our voting guide and send that message.
Finally, our campaign needs your help—as always. We never have enough to do the job right. Send us a contribution if you can, even in these hard times. It may turn out to be the best investment you ever made. If you can't afford a donation, then help us by recruiting two new supporters. And keep your cards, letters, phone calls, faxes and e-mails going to incumbents and candidates.
The plain fact is, we either now save ourselves from our new aristocracy or suffer the consequences as modern day serfs in a nation never contemplated by our Founding Fathers.
Sincerely,
Ken Hoagland

It seems...
Every election year many people go into a zombie stage and tend to follow the piper, whom ever that happens to be!Date: 9/19/2008 4:00:56 PM ( 9 min æ ) ... viewed 1 times
What I would like to have some one explain to me, is why do many people want to turn over all their responsibilities over to Big Government??
" A government is an orginzation that controls people." a True-ism Sept 2008
DO you just want to work for the organization, not have to take time to decide what you need or want? That is where most of the world has been for almost all of known history! Check it out... Read some history!
Then just over 200 years ago some men came up with a better, prehaps the best way for a people to govern themselves... This was unheard of through out most of history... A new way to have the people decide what is best for themselves...
Well as with all good plans if you do not pay attention there will come those who know better; how you should spend your time and money... Yes, they know better than you what you need and really want, just ask them...
If you have paid any atttention, you may well note that this has been happening more and more in the good ole USA... Yes, folks they know how to spend your time and money better than you do...
What? How can that be? Well if you listen to certain political parties, they have the plan for you to follow... Yes just send in you money as tax and they will put it to good use... Because you do not know how to do this for yourself... Yes that is correct; just vote to have them take more of your time and money; because you can not figure out to do the right thing yourself...
Does this ring any bells, yet?? Well if it does not then either you do not pay tax or you are just plain stupid... Who in their right mind would volitarily turn over their time and resources to someone else to manage when they could do it themselves?? No one is the correct answer!
Well that is the big difference between the two main canidates running for President... One wants more of your time and money, and the other wants to leave most everything as is... While not perfect this arangment shows the foritude and ability of the voters... Either to let someone else take your money and spend it where they want or let you decide where to spend your money...
That is the long and short of it folks... Think long and hard...
BTW: I do not believe in party politics; I would like to see anyone interested and quilified run. Even if were fifty canidates, then vote for whom you please and the one with the most votes is President, and the runner up is vice Pres. It used to be that way, back before the "War between the States"....
Something to think about this election year...

Women's body
Fair, Fat or Forty??
Most women are not pleased with their body?? HUH! Date: 8/8/2008 11:25:33
"Life is about what you do with the resources you were given!"
a True-ism August 2008
Since most women seem to not pleased with their body... What can they do?
Here is an article on some ideas to help:
We hope you can use this to make a difference in your life ladies!
Read the article below!!
.....................................................................
A woman's self-esteem and self-confidence are even more closely connected to her body than is the casewith men.And they're connected in a different way. What percentage of the female population feels genuinely proud of their bodies? I shutter to think, having met very, very few women like this. Almost every woman today - and it's a great tragedyfor the younger ones in particular - have a HUGEsense of physical inadequacy. They think...- My breasts are too small- My butt is too big- My breasts sag- My legs are just big cellulite deposits- My gut is too big- My triceps are just flab- I have stretch marks
- Etc, etc, etc....
Now, we could get into a whole discussion here about whether what a woman doesn't like about her body is REAL or just a product of media manipulation... but we don't need to go there. Why not? Simple. Because when a woman findsthe DETERMINATION to get the body she reallywants, she starts to see much more ACCURATELYwhat having a truly GREAT body really means. And she comes to realize the few things shecan't change - like her height, general breastsize, and natural build - CANNOT PREVENT HER from becoming BEAUTIFUL.TO HAVE GREAT SELF-CONFIDENCE, A WOMAN NEEDS...-to FEEL like a woman, to have a woman's hourglassfigure, to feel sexy and to FEEL BEAUTIFUL and ATTRACTIVE in her own mind. This means, by the way, that Warriorship is a little different for women. While men also need to start with the body in order to transform their lives, this is even MORE vital for women.
THE USUAL EXCUSES...- I'm too old- You can't get your figure back after (take yourpick) childbirth, 40, 50, menopause...- I'm just naturally (take your pick) too fat, havea big butt, have thunder thighs...Now, there's one thing you need to know about all thoseexcuses...They're total BS. Yes, excuse my language butit's true. They are LIES and need to be seen for what they are. They're just stuff you've learned from your culture and they're nonsense.
My friend Linda would agree with me. You see, she's a fitness trainer... and a grandmother! She recentlydid a talk at a local high school and one of the guys in the class said, "You sure don't look like MY grandma!"But he was probably just emotionally confused about how he could possibly find any grandmother "sexy" ;-)
So the FACT, Dear Lady, is that you CAN have the body you want. There's even better news though - getting the body you want will give you the self-image and self-confidence you need to lead a truly excellent life, with excellent health and deeply fulfilling relationships. The huge health benefits you get along the way areimportant, for sure, but it's the change in your SELF-IMAGE that's the really big deal here......because that's what will change your results in every area of your life, and with very little efforton your part. That's why getting the body you really WANT pays suchhuge dividends.
WHY YOU'VE FAILED BEFOREIn just about every case I've seen where a womanhas tried to stick to a fitness program or a diet and then relapsed, here's why...1) The program was poorly designed - you were setup to fail2) Your goals were far too general3) Because you didn't see results and didn't have a clear and compelling vision of what you wanted, you didn't have the motivation.NOW... think for a minute...What if you had a superbly designed program that's been PROVEN to give women the body they want AND that was designed by a woman who's been in YOUR situation?Would that get your attention? And what if this program required only a few workouts a week, very little equipment and you could do it all at home... at your convenience? And if the person who designed the program was notonly a mother, a weight-loss success story turnedfitness model, and certified fitness trainer, but also......someone who's given thousands of people just like you the body they want?

Who is HE?
Almost everyone in the world today has heard of Christ... Wither they realize it or not they now have knowledge as to the central theme of our existence!! Many may argue the point as to Christ being the central point in history, which is understandable from their point of ignorance or out of sheer stupidly... Even the Devil and all his Demons know of Christ... So why would someone purposely stand on the outside, then attempt to continually be one, who denies the existence and purpose of Christ?? When this is a known truth!
If it was not known to you, then it is now!! Think on this a while dear friend!! Some will tell you that Christ does not matter or that they do not believe in HIM... Well you can certainly make that choice but at some point in the not too distance future; you will have to come the knowledge that HE is and Stands as the Central point in human history!! Ready or not...
Can they say all these things with a sane mind and purpose? Maybe?? Will it stand the test of time?? Probably not!! HUH!! How are they going to act standing in front of the judgement bar of Christ on that last day?? Not happy will be the answer!!
Christ was and is the key to the past, present and absolute future... Eternity!! All ramifications for future events will follow an exact purpose... Our part of the plan is to be in the right place at the right time!!
" In our life; the real key to the universe and Eternity beyond depends on the decisions we make and/or have made in faith! " a True-ism May 2008
All the rest is of little consequence.. Including this forum or blog, and the evening news cast...
May the truth be known!! HUH!

No left turns
One of the secrets to long life is explained in the following story: Read on!
From a friend:
This is great--well worth the read! Enjoy!
This is a wonderful piece by Michael Gartner, editor of newspapers large and small and president of NBC News. In 1997, he won the Pulitzer Prize for editorial writing. It is well worth reading, and a few good chuckles are guaranteed.
My father never drove a car. Well, that's not quite right. I should say I never saw him drive a car. He quit driving in 1927, when he was 25 years old, and the last car he drove was a 1926 Whippet. "In those days," he told me when he was in his 90s, "to drive a car you had to do things with your hands, and do things with your feet, and look every which way, and I decided you could walk through life and enjoy it or drive through life and miss it." At which point my mother, a sometimes salty Irishwoman, chimed in:"Oh, bull----!" she said. "He hit a horse." "Well," my father said, "there was that, too." So my brother and I grew up in a household without a car.
The neighbors all had cars -- the Kollingses next door had a green 1941Dodge, the VanLaninghams across the street a gray 1936 Plymouth, the Hopsons two doors down a black 1941 Ford -- but we had none. My father, a newspaperman in Des Moines, would take the streetcar to work and, often as not, walk the 3 miles home. If he took the streetcar home, my mother and brother and I would walk the three blocks to the streetcar stop, meet him and walk home together.
My brother, David, was born in 1935, and I was born in 1938, and sometimes, at dinner, we'd ask how come all the neighbors had cars but we had none. "No one in the family drives," my mother would explain, and that was that. But, sometimes, my father would say, "But as soon as one of you boys turns 16, we'll get one."
It was as if he wasn't sure which one of us would turn 16 first. But, sure enough , my brother turned 16 before I did, so in 1951 my parents bought a used 1950 Chevrolet from a friend who ran the parts department at a Chevy dealership downtown. It was a four-door, white model, stick shift, fender skirts, loaded with everything, and, since my parents didn't drive, it more or less became my brother's car.
Having a car but not being able to drive didn't bother my father, but it didn't make sense to my mother. So in 1952, when she was 43 years old, she asked a friend to teach her to drive. She learned in a nearby cemetery, the place where I learned to drive the following year and where, a generation later, I took my two sons to practice driving. The cemetery probably was my father's idea. "Who can your mother hurt in the cemetery?" I remember him saying more than once.
For the next 45 years or so, until she was 90, my mother was the driver in the family. Neither she nor my father had any sense of direction, but he loaded up on maps -- though they seldom left the city limits -- and appointed himself navigator. It seemed to work.
Still, they both continued to walk a lot. My mother was a devout Catholic, and my father an equally devout agnostic, an arrangement that didn't seem to bother either of them through their 75 years of marriage. (Yes, 75 years, and they were deeply in love the entire time.) He retired when he was 70, and nearly every morning for the next 20 years or so, he would walk with her the mile to St. Augustin's Church.
She would walk down and sit in the front pew, and he would wait in the back until he saw which of the parish's two priests was on duty that morning. If it was the pastor, my father then would go out and take a 2-mile walk, meeting my mother at the end of the service and walking her home. If it was the assistant pastor, he'd take just a 1-mile walk and then head back to the church. He called the priests "Father Fast" and "Father Slow."
After he retired, my father almost always accompanied my mother whenever she drove anywhere, even if he had no reason to go along. If she were going to the beauty parlor, he'd sit in the car and read, or go take a stroll or, if it was summer, have her keep the engine running so he could listen to the Cubs game on the radio. In the evening, then, when I'd stop by, he'd explain: "The Cubs lost again. The millionaire on second base made a bad throw to the millionaire on first base, so the multimillionaire on third base scored." If she were going to the grocery store, he would go along to carry the bags out -- and to make sure she loaded up on ice cream. As I said, he was always the navigator, and once, when he was 95 and she was 88 and still driving, he said to me, "Do you want to know the secret of a long life?" "I guess so," I said, knowing it probably would be something bizarre. "No left turns," he said. "What?" I asked. "No left turns," he repeated. "Several years ago, your mother and I read an article that said most accidents that old people are in happen when they turn left in front of oncoming traffic. As you get older, your eyesight worsens, and you can lose your depth perception, it said. So your mother and I decided never again to make a left turn." "What?" I said again. "No left turns," he said. "Think about it. Three rights are the same as a left, and that's a lot safer. So we always make three rights." "You're kidding!" I said, and I turned to my mother for support "No," she said, "your father is right. We make three rights. Itworks." But then she added: "Except when your father loses count." I was driving at the time, and I almost drove off the road as Istarted laughing. "Loses count?" I asked. "Yes," my father admitted, "that sometimes happens. But it's not a problem. You just make seven rights, and you're okay again." I couldn't resist. "Do you ever go for 11?" I asked. "No," he said " If we miss it at seven, we just come home and call it a bad day. Besides, nothing in life is so important it can't be put off another day or another week."
My mother was never in an accident, but one evening she handed me her car keys and said she had decided to quit driving. That was in 1999, when she was 90. She lived four more years, until 2003. My father died the next year, at 102. They both died in the bungalow they had moved into in 1937 and bought a few years later for $3,000. (Sixty years later, my brother and I paid $8,000 to have a shower put in the tiny bathroom -- the house had never had one. My father would have died then and there if he knew the shower cost nearly three times what he paid for the house.)
He continued to walk daily -- he had me get him a treadmill when he was 101 because he was afraid he'd fall on the icy sidewalks but wanted to keep exercising -- and he was of sound mind and sound body until the moment he died. One September afternoon in 2004, he and my son went with me when I had to give a talk in a neighboring town, and it was clear to all three of us that he was wearing out, though we had the usual wide-ranging conversation about politics and newspapers and things in the news.
A few weeks earlier, he had told my son, "You know, Mike, the first hundred years are a lot easier than the second hundred." At one point in our drive that Saturday, he said, "You know, I'm probably not going to live much longer." "You're probably right," I said. "Why would you say that?" He countered, somewhat irritated. "Because you're 102 years old," I said. "Yes," he said, "you're right." He stayed in bed all the next day. That night, I suggested to my son and daughter that we sit up with him through the night. He appreciated it, he said, though at one point, apparently seeing us look gloomy, he said: "I would like to make an announcement. No one in this room is dead yet" An hour or so later, he spoke his last words: "I want you to know," he said, clearly and lucidly, "that I am in no pain. I am very comfortable. And I have had as happy a life as anyone on this earth could ever have." A short time later, he died.
I miss him a lot, and I think about him a lot. I've wondered now and then how it was that my family and I were so lucky that he lived so long. I can't figure out if it was because he walked through life, Or because he quit taking left turns. "
Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forget about the one's who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would most likely be worth it."

I Was Right About the Bird Flu Hoax
Last year, the number of human cases of avian flu dropped rather than rose for the first time -- from a paltry 115 in 2006 to an even more insignificant 86 in 2007. Frightening headlines warning of a pandemic that could kill 150 million people have all but vanished.
Although some “experts” still argue that preparations against bird flu must continue, many are finally beginning to realize what I said all along -- that this over hyped, oversold “pandemic” was never a threat in the first place. According to Dr. Paul A. Offit, a vaccine specialist at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, “H5 viruses have been around for 100 years and never caused a pandemic and probably never will.”
Still, according to this New York Times article, scientists and governments are congratulating themselves for averting a threat that never was by stockpiling worthless vaccines, pointlessly culling hundreds of millions of birds, and pouring money into preparation efforts. I can only imagine that the flu vaccine manufacturers are laughing all the way to the bank.

Interesting stuff the News Media puts out... Maybe you will want to rethink the so called " Global Warming Stuff " ; remember money talks and people chase after it with reckless abandonment!! HUH!!
